“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. Any animal in need of love and attention, we are thrilled to provide it. Our dog passed of cancer 3 years ago and needed to be put down as it had spread and she was in terrible pain. It was a slow, and hard for to let go A year ago, our cat had this disease, and she became immobile immediately and was in chronic pain. It was such a quick loss. So I have been a little hesitant to bring another animal in full time. However, all animals are welcome and we look forward to building a safe spot for you and your pet while you are away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes & personalities. I’m not shy to specialized care needs and love to play, walk & give belly rubs! Services include drop in dog walks and play sessions and overnight pet sitting for short or long terms. I’ve cared for two large fluffy dogs with special needs for two months at a time. I also looked after a high energy chihuahua for three weeks, routinely walking three or four times a day to burn some extra energy! I work full time in Bloomington from 9-6, Monday - Friday. Walks will take place as late as 8am or earlier, during lunch break if you’re home is within 15 miles of Bloomington, and after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and I am comfortable transporting the dogs to a dog park or swimming spot if they do well on field trips! I currently work Monday and Wed. 7:30 to 5 and Friday 7:30 to 3. So I am off Thursdays, Tuesdays and the weekends! My husband also works 3rd shift so he can help out during the day as well. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of space for running around! I like to have open communication between clients so they feel at ease with their fur babies being taken care of.
About: I am a former healthcare worker with open availability. I used to live on a farm with various animals. Currently in between jobs and looking for a change of pace. I worked overnights for 4yrs and have been in healthcare for 15yrs. I have pretty open availability within reason. I would like a decent heads up to be sure I have the means to accommodate. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
