She was able to do a meet & greet with my boy Morty and her two dogs so that we were able to make sure they’d all get along. Morty loved all the space she had in her fenced-in back yard and my mind was at ease with all of the baby-gates to offer separation from other animals inside the house. Julie was able to board my dog with pretty short notice and for a great price. I’m very happy with her services and would highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their animals.”

About: I have had and watched dogs in my life since I was a teenager. I love being with them more than most humans. I have taken care of lots of different kinds of dogs. I treat them all as I would my own. I am retired and have a fairly open schedule. I can give your dogs my full attention, attend to their needs and wants. They are my priority. About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.
