About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. I live in a single family home with an unfenced yard, but any bathroom breaks would be under my full watch and care. I have one sweet but shy cat, but she has her own room if your pet is not okay with other animals.

About: I’ve had house dogs for most of my adult life. I recently had to put my little guy to sleep after 13 years and I’m looking to fill that void he left! I’m patient and loving. I now have a 6 pound chihuahua that’s 9 and very laid back I’ve just started this business but you won’t find someone more passionate about caring for your dog I work a few part time hours and would be pretty flexible with my schedule. I don’t have pets of my own right now, but I’ve been pet sitting on and off for several years and have cared for friends’ dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. “Our Lucy is a pandemic dog who gets very sad when she is alone. Our Alexa notifies us of her mournful cries. However, with just 2 visits a day Rebecca divided her with enough engagement and affection that we never received even one notification over a 3 day period!! We are entering our older years and Lucy is a young dog. There are some rules that we have for her so that she does not become too exuberant for our aging bodies. Rebecca, listened to those closely when she met us and reinforced them for us, when she was here. I'm able to come to your home while you're away! Whether you're working extra long hours or away on vacation, I can watch your pets when you are gone from home. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel. “I can’t recommend Rachel enough! She took incredible care of my dog while I was away for a couple of weeks. He got plenty of exercise with walks, trips to the river, and adventures in the forest preserves. She even treated him to an ice cream after a long, fun day in the sun! Her communication was top notch, she sent frequent updates with details about his day and tons of great pictures that gave me total peace of mind. It was clear she treated him like one of her own. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond, she’s the one!”

About: I cherish the time I’ve spent caring for cats and dogs and interacting with them has been fulfilling and a fantastic addition to my life. Caring for my dogs and cats, enjoying the love and attention you receive in return for your efforts is a wonderful addition to the human experience I really like taking my dogs for exercise, and I have a big imagination and enjoy coming up with interesting ways to play inside in inclement weather
