“Diana took great care of Maggie. And she was willing to work with me when I extended my vacation. Loved the pictures she sent to ease my mind about leaving Maggie for eight days! I will definitely ask for her help again!”

“Merry and Tucker love Cato come to Kayla’s home. They out of the car and head directly for the front door. Merry even had a fury friend for the last visit. They played until exhausted. Great time for our high energy girl. Our old boy was able to get plenty of rest. Kayla always ensures Ricker gets her medication. Both come home happy, and relaxed!! Thank you again Kayla”

“Melissa is amazing with Diggory. We feel so confident when we leave him. He loves to go and he comes back happy and well cared for. We love how she sends pictures and keeps him active. If he can’t be with us this is the place I’d want him to be. Thanks Melissa!”

“Sarah was a great dog sitter. She was easy to work with and my dog loved being there. She sent photos and let me know how things were going while we were away. I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.”

“Congenial sitter with admirable conduct & disposition, performing over and above the routine services. Our dog appeared to enjoy being in her care. Thanks again”

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

“Great Experience, very accommodating and very flexible. i had to drop my dog after the long drive (16 hours) and he was definitely hyper but Tricia took great care of him. with all treats and great walk and some good catch fames.. will defiantly book again”

“Alyssa was very nice and took care of our high energy husky mix (Jayda) while we were away. This was the first time having someone watch her other than my sister (who was the foster mom we got her from). Alyssa had several playmates that Jayda got along with and got to play a lot. She also found some new treats for us to try with Jayda. We got Jayda home and she seems tuckered out. Which is good. :-)”

“Leslee provided an outstanding dog-boarding experience! The level of care and daily updates exceeded our expectations. Five stars for impeccable service and genuine affection towards our furry family member!”

“Faith did an excellent job taking care of my two dogs! She gave frequent updates and provided many pictures of them having a fun time. She offered some job observations of their behaviors and provided constructive recommendations. I plan on utilizing her again for dog sitting services.”

“Lola and her family did a great job caring for Josie. She was honest, and so sweet and gentle with my furbaby. I appreciate she was flexible with a meet and greet prior to boarding. I highly recommend Lola. Convenient, reasonable and very honest.”

“Our pup had some stomach issues in our last stay. Hailey handled her like she was her own and took great care of her. She communicated what was going on. She knew we were worried. We trusted her and her advice. We are blessed to have Hailey in our lives to watch Miss Hazel when we cannot take her with us when we travel. Highly recommend Hailey!”

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.

I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their happiness, safety, and well-being. I work full time for USPS as a mail carrier. I have two days off each week. I’m always off Sundays. Once I’m off work usually around 5/6pm I’m free! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

About: Hi! My name is Stephanie, and my husband, three kids (3, 7, and 10) and I are so excited to love your dog while you’re away! A Roof for Ruffs is the brainchild of our 10yo daughter. We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. We’re having so much fun with fostering that our sweet girl suggested we take on paying clients between our fosters, and donate some of the proceeds to the same local dog rescue organization. ♥️ I’ve owned dogs my whole life. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. We are so very excited to meet your dog, and to treat them like family for their stay. My husband works full time, but I am a freelance writer with flexible hours working from home while caring for our three kids. In other words: your pup won’t be left alone often! 😆 **Please note: all pets must have proof of updated vaccines and be okay with kids (they will be loved on and spoiled by our kiddos while they’re here!) I am home daily with my kids, so lots of potty breaks and playtime is possible throughout the day. We are available most weekdays or weekends unless blocked while we have a foster or for travel. We have a 4-foot aluminum fence in the backyard and live on a public park with a walking trail for easy exercise options. We have extra dog crates here if your pup is crate-trained or feel free to bring your own.

If the distance to your home is within a reasonable distance from my job I can typically do a walk within my shift as well. Mondays and Tuesday’s I’m off all day and can come at any time. I treat every animals as if they are my own. Which I do see my pet families/clients as an extension of mine. They are apart of my life and I give care that brings them back. For that I can’t be more grateful.

Have always been a caretaker type, including being a full time nanny, also taking care of their animals-dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs. Available on weekends and partial Mon and Fridays. Flexible, long term, or short term last minute welcome. Home most of the time on the weekends except for short errands, as our house is centrally located, close to shopping, yet not directly on a busy street. Like a relaxing vacation for your loved one while you are away. Our pets are part of the family and enjoy many benefits of our house. Plenty of playing and lounging room for all! We have a living room, rec room and screened in porch, for warmer weather, all with dog friendly furniture and lots of windows for plenty of comfy napping. lounging, squirrel watching...with a dog entry door to the large fenced in yard and deck through the kitchen. My musically talented teenager will play lots of nice music on his piano and ukulele as well as run around the yard with the dogs, and there is a park within walking distance from our house if more exploration is desired! We have one chocolate lab who is very friendly and social, and loves company!
About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with daily walks, bathing, brushing, enrichment play, and maintaining consistent routines. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I adapt my care to meet their individual needs — whether they’re energetic, shy, young, or senior. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and dependable environment you can trust. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home Monday through Friday, allowing us to provide consistent supervision and care throughout the week. We also have a 10-month-old baby in our home, so we maintain a calm, structured environment. Pets staying with us should be comfortable around infants and gentle in nature. Your pet will receive regular potty breaks, attention, and companionship throughout the day. We have a fenced in yard for outdoor time. All outdoor time is fully supervised. We provide frequent potty breaks and maintain a calm, structured, pet-friendly home. Safety is our top priority, and we treat every pet like part of our family. We’re happy to provide updates and photos during their stay for your peace of mind. 🐾Booking & Care Details🐾 Boarding is based on 24-hour care beginning at your scheduled drop-off time. Rover automatically applies extended care charges for late pick-ups beyond that window, so accurate timing is important when booking. Holiday rates apply to major travel dates. Puppies and additional dogs are charged at adjusted rates due to the increased supervision required. For longer stays or work-travel bookings, I’m happy to discuss customized arrangements. 🐾 Meet & Greet Policy🐾 A meet and greet is required for all new clients prior to confirming a boarding stay. This ensures your dog is comfortable in our home environment and is a safe fit around children and other animals. Meet and greets allow us to review routines, temperament, and expectations so your pet’s stay is smooth and stress-free.
About: Finding the right sitter matters — especially when your dog needs more than just a walk and a bowl refill. That’s where I come in. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to senior dogs and behaviorally challenging cases, I’ve cared for and handled dogs with a wide range of needs. My background includes extensive volunteer work at animal shelters, where I gained valuable experience reading canine body language, managing stress, and working safely with dogs that require extra patience and structure. In 2021, I earned my Certified Dog Trainer credential through Animal Behavior College, and I continue my education through Leerburg University, focusing on canine behavior, handling, and communication. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — every dog is different, and I tailor my care to what helps your dog feel safe, calm, and confident. If you’ve been told your dog is “too difficult” or “too much” for most sitters, I encourage you to reach out. I have experience with reactive, anxious, high-drive, and medically complex dogs, including administering medications and injections when needed. My goal is not just to watch your dog, but to advocate for them while you’re away. For safety and individualized care, I only accept one family of dogs at a time. This allows me to focus fully on your dog’s routine, comfort, and well-being — no overcrowding, no chaos. I’d love to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. You’ll leave knowing your dog is in capable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring hands. Thanks for stopping by my profile — I look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon. I'm hoping to make canine boarding/training my new job. I still work full time in a hybrid remote role. I will only accept boarding reservations where I know I will be home. I prefer to exercise dogs by walking them, but will do anything to keep your friends on their own routine. Anything you can share with me about your dogs preferred routine will help me keep their schedule as normal as possible.

When I arrived all of Gracie Mae items were packed up and ready to go. Gracie Mae must of had a fun time, she was sleepy and took a rest on the way home. Thank you Khanh.”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat pets as members of the family, not just animals I’m watching. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, including shy or nervous dogs who need extra patience to build trust. I’m attentive to details, follow routines closely, and understand how important consistency is for a pet’s comfort and well-being. Because I care for my own dogs daily, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and communicating concerns promptly. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also respecting each pet’s individual needs and boundaries. My goal is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owners are away, and for owners to have peace of mind knowing their pets are receiving personalized care. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I have two dogs, so I’m used to feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, monitoring behavior, and making sure they get plenty of attention throughout the day. I also stay on top of things like cleaning up after them, maintaining their routine, and watching for any signs that something might be off. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so fitting pet care into my day feels very natural. In my home, pets are treated like family. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment where pets receive plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. I closely monitor their behavior, appetite, and energy levels and will follow any instructions regarding medications, dietary needs, or special care. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while they are in my care.

About: I have experience administering all kinds of medication to all ages of dogs. I love meeting your older dogs and have experience helping them navigate stairs and the home if necessary. I am patient and if your dog needs extra accommodation I am happy to provide assistance. I am currently a college student on break for the summer so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available for early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. I understand it can be nerve racking trusting someone with your pet, but I am extremely communicative and will keep you updated as frequently as you wish. I have pet sat for multiple families who have always returned to tidy homes and happy pets. As someone who has had the privilege of loving many animals, big and small (snakes, lizards, geckos, cat, hamsters), I understand the importance of your pet.

“Tricia was fantastic! She spent time with Ember and it showed. Ember wasn't as frantic when I got home. I know she's had a good break during the day if she is calm. I'd have her watch Ember every day if she lived close to me!”

About: I am a veterinary student with 8 years of animal experience! I am trained to look for signs of discomfort or pain in pets! I am also trained to administer medications both orally and through injections if your pet requires any of those types of treatment! I am currently working part time and have very flexible hours! I am willing to work around schedules and will openly communicate about the needs of your pet! I currently do not have a dog at my house as my sweet older baby has recently passed, however I have a fenced in backyard and a quiet neighborhood that is good for walks and exercise outside!
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish from the ripe age of 10! I have had animals from the size of teacup yorkies to the size of Rottweilers so size doesn’t challenge me. I currently work full time Sunday-Wednesday and find myself with a lot of free time the rest of the week so I’d love to get to play and help with your best friend as much as I’m able to get I am able to follow all the rules you provide with your best friend and am able to accommodate with any requests to keep you stress free!
About: I've been watching and loving on dogs since I was in grade school. I'm a HUGE animal lover, with a passion for dogs- I can never learn enough about them. I managed a dog boarding/daycare facility, but discovered the stress of over 80+ dogs in my care at once was a little too much for me to handle. After a couple years away, I decided to come back to the dog boarding/daycare industry part time. Doing this, I was reminded that not all dogs thrive in this type of environment and do better in a home atmosphere. I have very active dogs myself and wake up extra early in the morning to make sure my dogs are properly exercised and played with before I go to work because I believe in order to have a healthy dog, they have to be worn out both physically and mentally and that is very important to me. I now have the ability to work from home and tend to work from home when I have doggy guests staying with me. What to expect when your dog stays with me: Lower stress and home environment for your pups! I have two big dogs and a little dog and am also set up so I can keep them separated if your dog doesn't particularly enjoy k9 company! I send pictures and videos and will keep in contact with you as little or as much as you'd like. I work full time, but I'm able to work my own hours. I adjust my work schedule based on the needs of the paws in my care. I have a large fenced yard. If your pup is staying at my home, I do require that they are crate trained for the safety of your pet.

“Sarah was a great dog sitter. She was easy to work with and my dog loved being there. She sent photos and let me know how things were going while we were away. I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, and administering basic medications when needed. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment in my home, free of hazards and closely supervised at all times. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special requirements. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect your space and your pet’s routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and genuine care, and I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet—and your home—in someone else’s hands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and dependable experience for both you and your pet.
“Ruby and Leia loved their time with Brittany and family (even the kitties!)! We enjoyed working with Brittany and appreciated all the updates throughout our dog(s) week long stay. She sent us updates when Ruby was a little sick and helped reassure us that she was doing better! She sent photos and videos throughout the week to let us know they were doing well and we so appreciated that! We plan to reach out to Brittany for our future needs.”

“I like taking my dog (Millie) to Rachelle for overnight stay and for several nights’ stay. Rachelle is considerate and kind to us and my dog. She is caring. She updates us about our dog, sends pictures and asks our opinion about how our dog would react to the environment like in the case of a storm so she can attend to our dog appropriately. I feel confident that my dog is getting great care with Rachelle. I am also sure that my dog is having fun with Rachelle and her dog Rizzo. The last time I dropped off Millie at Rachelle’s house she was eager to enter the house that she literally dragged me towards the door.”
