She was very accomodating and Buzzie (who is deaf) absolutely had a blast playing with the other dogs! One of my favorite things is that the dogs don't go into kennels by themselves all night like with most boarding facilities. With Scott and Teresa, the dogs are all just part of the family the entire time. It's helpful that Teresa sends photo and video updates so that you can see for yourself how well your dog is doing throughout their stay. I was 100% satisfied and so was Buzzie!”

However, with just 2 visits a day Rebecca divided her with enough engagement and affection that we never received even one notification over a 3 day period!! We are entering our older years and Lucy is a young dog. There are some rules that we have for her so that she does not become too exuberant for our aging bodies. Rebecca, listened to those closely when she met us and reinforced them for us, when she was here. We used Rebecca's name often during that visit. When I told Lucy that we were leaving for 3 days, her ears went down - when I told her Rebecca was coming to visit her ears perked up.”
About: I’ve cat‑sat for neighbors and family friends throughout my life, and my passion for animals has carried into both my education and career. I’m currently studying Animal Science at the University of Illinois, where I’m continuing to build hands‑on experience. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

Since then, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — dogs, cats, birds, Guinea pigs, lizards, and other small companions — and have also fostered extensively for my local animal shelter and I loved every minute of it. My foster work has included animals in hospice; seniors; dogs going through heartworm treatment; those with serious behavior issues; advanced starvation cases; kidney disease; and pets with other complex medical needs, so I am very comfortable following detailed treatment plans, giving medications, and monitoring changes in behavior or health. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially when your furry family needs extra care. During my time working in animal shelters and veterinary clinics, I handled and worked with pets of all different temperaments and training levels. My house sitting base rate includes an overnight care (can adjust hours depending on your pet’s routine & this includes all potty breaks, snuggles, enrichment, etc while I’m in the home), midday potty break, meals, and one focused walk/exercise session (example: before dinner). If your pets need more exercise, care, or attention, this is not a problem! We can discuss additional drop ins and walks as needed and I can adjust the fees as appropriate.

I adopted two of them as puppies, so I potty trained them and taught them how to sit, lay down, walk off-leash, etc. I adopted my other two as adults, but I did train them how to walk off-leash as well. I care for them every single day, which includes feeding them on the same schedule every day, walking them, playing with them, bathing them when needed, taking them to the vet when needed, cleaning up after them to ensure a healthy and clean environment for them. I’m currently a college student who is out of school for the summer, so I am available 7 days a week at all hours of the day! In my client’s home, I will complete any task they ask of me in the way they ask to do it, as I completely understand that certain dogs need certain routines and strategies. I respect my client’s homes and the way they operate their home lives, and will do all I can to ensure their pets are happy and healthy.
About: One of my earliest memories was at the age of five. My mom brought my sister home from the hospital after she was born and I asked, "Can we have a kitten instead?!" Our parents started us with goldfish like most do. We then graduated to hamsters, followed by kittens. Currently, I have two dogs of my own that I consider to be my fur babies. Our pets can be much like our children, so I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to provide the care your animals need. My experience with animals comes from having my own as well as taking care of friends and family members pets as well. I love animals so much, I paint them on canvas as another passion of mine. About: My goal in life is to be your pets newest best friend. I have had experience with my very vocal and fat beagle that is 6. As well as a retired belgian malinois bomb dog that is 10. I can play fetch for hours, play games, or sit and cuddle a coach potato. I can be at your door anytime I do not have class at my flight school! I work part time at a coffee shop but my hours are very low because of school. I would really like pet sitting to be my job instead as I transition into this.
