“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. About: I provide a caring loving environment for all dogs that I watch. I currently own 2 Boston’s and a boxer who I administer medicine too for seizures. I walk them daily and let them out hourly. About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: I provide a caring loving environment for all dogs that I watch. I currently own 2 Boston’s and a boxer who I administer medicine too for seizures. I walk them daily and let them out hourly. I will make sure all dogs are healthy and as happy as can be when watching them. I also watch my neighbor or family friends dogs which range from sizes small to large. I don’t have as much experience with giant dogs but I would be more than willing to love them just as much as any other dog I watch! I am available during the day and night as I attended college and have classes in the mornings. I can stay as long as needed to keep them company and playful for when you return home! So that gives me tons of extra time during the week. I also do drop in during my work day as well. !! I have a fenced in yard and a very nice fur baby to keep your fur baby company. About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs over the years and now my own Golden Retriever, Penny. I work from home and have the flexibility for dogs needing attention in the mornings. I have a flexible work from home schedule through the week and am available most weekends. I’m here morning or night if you need me I kennel Penny at night, but do get up to take her out in the middle of the night. During the day I take her out about every hour right now since I work from home. We get a good walk in morning and night with a smaller lunch walk right now. Good amount of playtime when she’s not sleeping! We’re doing training at Heartland with her in late September as well.
About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. About: I've been a dog mom to s pit/lab mix and currently a pit/Cane Corso mix. He's a sweet boy who loves eveyone and is both active but also likes his daily naps. I work 3 days of the week so on my days off I'm available for walks/drop-in visits or boarding. About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. I think Rover is a great alternative medium way for me to continue providing my love for dogs, and give back to the community. I am home quite often, most of the days if need be. I can work from home. My current entrepreneurial endeavor allows me to build my own schedule. In my home I would keep K9 nearby in my two main level living rooms. I have all laminate hardwood wood flooring. The fenced backyard allows for easy potty breaks and play time, however I will be with the K9 while they are outside to ensure their safety.
