“Tina and her husband were wonderful caretakers for our sweet terrier Lilly. They were so welcoming when we got there. Their setup was perfect. They had a fenced back yard. They also took her on walks, brushed her, doted on her, let her sleep with them and made her feel so at home that when we came to pick her up she wanted us to come in instead of running out to the car as usual. She wanted all her peeps to be together. That is true testimony to the wonderful experience she had. Tina also kept us updated every couple of days with photos and gave us a full report when we came to pick up. Our girl had no problems so no more reporting was required. About: I have had my own pets since I was a young child. I have taken care of many of my friends, family, neighbors, and church members pets over the years. I love dogs and kitties and believe they deserve to be well taken care of. They depend on us to be good to them and are at our mercy. If they are mistreated they can't say anything. I follow all feeding instructions, stick to their usual schedules, and make sure they always have fresh water, clean litter boxes (for cats), and a tidy environment. I also spend time with them based on their personality—whether that’s playtime, enrichment, or just calm companionship so they feel safe and not alone. I pay close attention to behavior and overall well-being during each visit, and I make sure the home is respected and left just as I found it. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats of all ages since I was about 10 years old! I am also a certified veterinary assistant! I understand the importance of taking care of your pets- they are family! I will do whatever is needed to meet their accommodations or needs! I recently graduated from SIUE with my Bachelors degree and am currently job searching/taking a little time off, so I have complete open availability as far as my schedule goes! I am open to staying the night somewhere if that’s needed! I am more than willing to come to your residence to take care of any type/number of pets! I have been around animals my whole life. As a child we had three American Bull dogs. I have taken care of animals for friends when they were out of town until they return home. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention.
