About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have also had a small private pet/house sitting business for the past 12 years. I have a lot of experience feeding pets with strict/special diets using oils, powders, crushed up supplements etc. and administering medicine including insulin injections. About: Hello! My name is Dallas! I am a huge animal lover, and would love to care for your furry family member! I have always loved all animals and have been in this field for over 15 years. A little about me: I was a volunteer at the SPCA for a few years, back when I lived in Nevada when I was in high school. Then I worked for a 24/7 doggy day care facility for about two years in Lake Tahoe after I moved there with my husband Adam. I worked there until I started my own pet sitting/walking company. when My husband Adam owned a wooden surfboard shop there, while I started my own pet sitting/dog walking company. In 2016, we decided to travel around with our dog Myles for a bit, and converted a school bus into an RV! We both own our own companies so we’ve always been able to work remote and did the conversion on our own. Eventually we ended up in Nashville and did two house flips while still running our craft companies. In 2020 my husband and I moved back here to Illinois where Adam is from, to help his elderly parents, and the family property. We just finished converting the barn into a homestead while we are here, and just celebrated our wedding in the property in September. Sadly our dog Myles passed away peacefully last October at the age of almost 17. While my husband and I greatly miss having a dog or pet around, we’re just not quite ready to get another dog yet and we figured Rover would be perfect. I’ve had a long list of pets throughout my life, from small Pomeranians to a large PitBull lab mix and multiple cats, I haven’t met an animal I didn’t love yet haha. Adam and I live on 8 acres with plenty of room to run and play. Our home is very clean, and also very dog friendly aka we love couch snuggles! Because Adam and I both operate our own businesses, we both have separate shops built in the house so we have the luxury of getting to stay home while still working, making our schedules very open and flexible! He was allowed on their sofa and on the bed (things he doesn't get to do at home, at least not while I'm in the room). Great experience and Emily has 2 boys that also gave Casper a lot of attention. “Carolyn is a VERY SWEET lady!! She made sure my we felt more than comfortable leaving our dog. We have NEVER boarded our dog prior to having this planned get away that was just too far for driving. (We've ALWAYS driven with the dogs in the past.) Carolyn met, Lady. (our 3 year old dog.) She never pressured us AT all!! She wanted to make sure Lady along with my wife & I felt perfectly comfortable. While we were out of town we received daily message updates, pictures and even videos from Carolyn. We're SO HAPPY we found Carolyn!! 😊 Now, we have a FANTASTIC place to board, Lady!! Rusty has a dog-friendly space indoors and out and was attentive to the dogs’ individual personality traits and needs. This was the first time I’ve left them with a sitter and both dogs responded well and appeared comfortable. About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 14, and they are part of my love language! I've taken care of and have had a wide variety of pets, dog sizes, and different medical needs. Part of my life's calling is to be with animals and give them all the love. We live on a 7-acre farmette, with land to roam and play, and forest as well. We have a barn that houses 23 free range chickens and ducks. These are also my pets who I love dearly. I have 2 cats, a brother and sister names George and Lucy who are total love bugs. My daughter Teagan is almost 6, and has been around animals since she was a baby. I am currently working full time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. I work remotely from my house on Fridays. I am off on Saturday and Sunday all day. We live on a 7-acre farm in a two-story house with privacy. Our house has plenty of room to accommodate different dog sizes. Our acreage also provides plenty of room for dogs to run and play!
