About: I absolutely adore being around animals. I started working in a vet and got a ton of great hands on experience. That means Ive seen it all. Dogs that are shy, hyper, scared, aggressive, happy, they come in all shapes and sizes. One thing I’ve noticed in dog care is they all need patience, and I’ve got a lot of that when it comes to those furry, tail wagging babies. Now, I’d like to take that experience into dog walking/sitting. I’ve grown up having 4 dogs at a time of all breeds ranging from Dochsund to a giant Doberman. I currently have a 5 year old pup named Darla, a Doberman puppy named Stella, and a little kitty named Ace. I have a lot of experience feeding pets with strict/special diets using oils, powders, crushed up supplements etc. and administering medicine including insulin injections. About: Hello! My name is Dallas! I am a huge animal lover, and would love to care for your furry family member! I have always loved all animals and have been in this field for over 15 years. A little about me: I was a volunteer at the SPCA for a few years, back when I lived in Nevada when I was in high school. Then I worked for a 24/7 doggy day care facility for about two years in Lake Tahoe after I moved there with my husband Adam. I worked there until I started my own pet sitting/walking company. when My husband Adam owned a wooden surfboard shop there, while I started my own pet sitting/dog walking company. In 2016, we decided to travel around with our dog Myles for a bit, and converted a school bus into an RV! We both own our own companies so we’ve always been able to work remote and did the conversion on our own. Eventually we ended up in Nashville and did two house flips while still running our craft companies. In 2020 my husband and I moved back here to Illinois where Adam is from, to help his elderly parents, and the family property. We just finished converting the barn into a homestead while we are here, and just celebrated our wedding in the property in September. Sadly our dog Myles passed away peacefully last October at the age of almost 17. While my husband and I greatly miss having a dog or pet around, we’re just not quite ready to get another dog yet and we figured Rover would be perfect. I’ve had a long list of pets throughout my life, from small Pomeranians to a large PitBull lab mix and multiple cats, I haven’t met an animal I didn’t love yet haha. Adam and I live on 8 acres with plenty of room to run and play. Our home is very clean, and also very dog friendly aka we love couch snuggles! Because Adam and I both operate our own businesses, we both have separate shops built in the house so we have the luxury of getting to stay home while still working, making our schedules very open and flexible! My husband and I both own our own businesses and have our shops on our property, so we both work from home every day with a completely open and flexible schedule! I care for every pet as if they were my own, while following and respecting the owners directions and or specific requests! We have a large pet friendly house that is very empty after our lab mix passed away in fall, and for the first time we are completely pet-less. We live on 8 acres in the country with tons of space to run and play and poop and have tons of fun. We are fenced in property but because the property is so big we keep our visitors on leashes. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I was a proud dog parent for 13 years to my lab/pit bull mix, Sara, who taught me patience, consistency, and just how deep the human–dog bond can be. When I’m dog sitting, I intentionally keep my schedule flexible and avoid making fixed plans. This allows me to prioritize the pets in my care, provide consistent supervision, and adjust my day around their needs for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. My routine is centered on making sure each dog receives attentive, reliable care throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment while following each pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. Pets have supervised access to my fenced yard and plenty of attention indoors. I closely monitor behavior and well-being and communicate with owners as needed to ensure pets feel comfortable and cared for at all times.
About: Since the day I was born, I have lived in a home with numerous types of pets. I have had puppies since the day they came home at eight weeks old, and I have been there to hold their hand when they had left this earth; not only have I seen all stages of life, I have helped take care of them until they are very last breath. My passion is truly to care for others and that also includes animals. Currently, I have two large dogs in my home which we have trained from day one and they are the most loving sweet dogs. I have worked from the basics of sit and stay to fun tricks of rollover, turn around, and have even crate trained. In my almost 30 years of life, I have been around so many types of dogs and it is always my goal to meet and connect and find a common ground with all. I have the patience, commitment, and I am confident that your dog or cat will be and feel safe and happy with me! I have left corporate America and I run a small business out of my home which means I am my own boss and can pick my own schedule! My goal is to have as much availability as possible so I can help as many families as possible. I have two dogs of my own who are on great routines and I would love to assist to help keep your friends on track as well while you may be out of the house at work or running errands, I have availability starting as early as 6 AM and can make it work if we need to go later in the day at night and I am available mostly every single day unless noted in my calendar! Currently, I have two dogs in my home who are very well behaved and get along great with others of any size. My dogs are crate trained, but are also safe to roam around the home and I would have no problem creating a dog at my house as well and walking them around so they can smell all aspects of my home. I have a large backyard, but it is not fenced in as my dogs are on the Invisible fence, however, this is no issue as I have no problem having a long lead for your dog to run and play with my dogs with my supervision in the yard! My home is open floor plan and over 3000 ft.² so there is plenty of room to have fun together!
