However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could walk. Pets have always been an addition in my family. I have also pet sat for friends and family when they have needed. To me, pets are family and I have always taken care of them like that. When I'm trusted to take care of someones pet, I treat them like their baby. We have 3.5 acres of farm and woodland. 1 acres is wooded and we have a trail and creek to play in. If things get too messy, we can always rinse off in the hose. I have a lead out back, but if your dog doesn't need it great! If your dog requires a little more, I have a fenced in area behind the barn that we can venture to as well. I live on a private drive, so not a lot of traffic and its nice and peaceful. I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. I live 20 minutes away and usually come home on my lunch break at 12 to let my dogs out and to let them run and play. I wake up early to take care of my chickens and ducks and let my dogs run around for about 30 minutes outside. With other dogs, we might wake up a little earlier and go on a trail or just walk up and down the road(.5miles) maybe more if needed. We then come inside and eat and drink and they are usually ready to go back to bed by the time I leave for work. On my days off we are outside constantly. If your dog is an introvert or loves ac, we do also let our dogs on the furniture for extra lounging. 🤣 At night we do a bit more outside since we make our rounds to make sure the birds are safe and fed and maybe another walk in the woods. Before bed, we do tick checks just in case! I care for all pets like my own and all pets have the same freedoms as my fur babies(unless specified so your doggo doesn't come home with any habits you don't want them to have). I have blankets on my couches and dog beds all over the house.

About: I've watched dogs and cats of friends, family and strangers on and off for the past 10 years. I have experienced with small to XL dogs, young and older! I’m a stay at home mom. Our boys are rarely home alone for more than a couple hours at a time, a couple days a week. I have a fenced yard and two boys that are ready to play. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I have been taking care of all types of animals since I was a child. I am very comfortable with all breeds and energy levels. I also have experience with senior dogs and their special needs. Right now I work from home so that let's me be a stay at home dog mom too, so almost all of my time goes to my fur babies and taking care of other animals In my home...my animals are family. I treat them with so much love some may say they are spoiled....I say they are well taken care of! When we go for walks I always use a leash and harness combo to ensure they can't sneak out of their collars.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12 and worked as a zookeeper for the past 4 years! About: I've owned animals all my life. As a kid in school I had two Mastiff puppies who were with me until they were 6. As they had health issues that came on later in their life! My mom has 4 yorkies who I have lived with and taken care of one of them was just put down. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
