This family has a great capacity for love, and my dogs feel loved when they stay with them. Amanda and her husband have their hands full caring for 5 kids, work schedules, and volunteering in their community. But they also have the energy and organization skills to excel in handling their responsibilities. My dogs have 5 kids/teens to play with them, and that also makes them happy. Their new house currently only has a small enclosure in the back yard. But my furbabies were apparently taken out on a leash regularly. I believe them when they say that they will be enlarging the fenced area in the near future. I do not hesitate to recommend Amanda and her family. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We feel so lucky that Maple has been under such great care for the past 2 weeks!!”
About: I love to play and love on animals, and my daughter loves to research breeds and find what they like the most. And care for them that way. Your pet(s) will be well welcomed to our fun loving home. Welcome! I am working full time, dogs will have full access to backyard at their leisure. If they are unfamiliar with a dog door, I will train them. Litter box cleaned daily. And in the morning and evening some love and play time. I have a fenced in yard, dog door ( that locks) shelves and hiding spots for cats. I had made this an oasis for my cat and dog while they were still with us. Any animal in need of love and attention, we are thrilled to provide it. Our dog passed of cancer 3 years ago and needed to be put down as it had spread and she was in terrible pain. It was a slow, and hard for to let go A year ago, our cat had this disease, and she became immobile immediately and was in chronic pain. It was such a quick loss. So I have been a little hesitant to bring another animal in full time. However, all animals are welcome and we look forward to building a safe spot for you and your pet while you are away.

About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. I am good with reading body language, and I let the pet set the pace in our interactions. I only practice positive reinforcement for training.
About: I make sure to do all the activities that your pup likes to do to keep them occupied. I feel leaving them. Home is better for their mental state than dropping them off somewhere where they don’t know where they are. Lots of loving and all of my attention goes to the babies while I’m there. I currently do not work and my schedule can be made mostly around the needs of the employer. My son is at school 8-3 but he would be willing to help with animals also. We have a fenced in yard but also go for walks. I have no problem with walking multiple times a day or whatever other needs the pet has.

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
About: I am a former healthcare worker with open availability. I used to live on a farm with various animals. Currently in between jobs and looking for a change of pace. I worked overnights for 4yrs and have been in healthcare for 15yrs. ***Prefers to keep communication through Rover App for transparency and quality assurance**** I have pretty open availability within reason. I would like a decent heads up to be sure I have the means to accommodate. My routine is very laid back and I watch for signs and cues. I have two dogs of my own. I love caring for and just being around animals. I live in a quiet neighborhod. While I do not have a fenced in yard, I am willing to walk and give attention to each animal in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my older grandparents before and I’ve had my dog for 5 years now. I am experienced with dogs and also cats. I work full time at home so I am home a lot to take care of your animals if they need somewhere to stay! I have a dog who is a Labrador retriever who is very friendly with all animals and people! I have a fenced in yard. I will give them enough outside time along with enough potty breaks and always have water available to them!
About: I have three kids, one young adult and one teenager and one still in elementary school and they ALL have SO much love to give and are all experienced in pet caring as well. I always joke about how my children love animals more than humans and my girls are “animal whisperers”. We LOVE animals and have lots of care and cuddles to give each and every one. And we have all at times even saved both cats and dogs that were lost roaming around! It’s been such an amazing experience. My middle child one year for her birthday used her birthday money to gift the humane society with items for the animals there and we all used to go spend time with the animals there and volunteer for them as well I work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. I have the ability to care for along walk dogs in the morning before work, or over my hour lunch break, and also after work and in the evening and in the weekends, even Sundays after church I have a fenced yard myself at home, however at other people’s homes I will not let their pet out without being on a secured leash
“Great Experience, very accommodating and very flexible. i had to drop my dog after the long drive (16 hours) and he was definitely hyper but Tricia took great care of him. with all treats and great walk and some good catch fames.. will defiantly book again”
