About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2018, Ciri and I started when she could fit in my hand. Since then, I’ve added two more dogs to the home and it’s come in all types. I’ve dealt with them deathly sick, scared, nervous, hyper, and sleepy. I work full time at SIUC, but my friend and roommate is a retired Army veteran who spends most of his time at home. Unless something very unexpected happens, the dogs are not left alone for more than 4 hours. My house has two separately fenced in yards and I have three friendly dogs of my own and my roommate has one cat. We’re laidback and at constant war with husky hair, but we get by with optional crating and indoor and outdoor time whenever your pup needs it.

“Mallory was amazing with our cat. She checked in on him to feed him and clean the litter box daily. He was hospitalized for a urinary blockage previously so we have to keep a close eye on him to make sure he's eating his prescription diet and urinating regularly. It was such a relief to have someone we could depend on while we were gone. She kept us updated the whole trip and sent us tons of pictures.”
“OMG! Ashlyn is a Godsend! The worst happened while I was away…my water heater blew up and flooded my laundry room, including filling both litter boxes to the top w/water! Huge mess!!! Ashlyn not only cleaned everything up, safely tucked my anxious kitties away for the night in an extra bathroom but waited on my maitenance people to show up and take over. I CANT imagine what I would’ve done without her!!! And she handled the whole situation as if it happens to her every visit- super positive energy! 5 STARS is not nearly enough for Ashlyn!!! About: I've had my two male cats since they were kittens (currently ~2yrs). They are well behaved gentleman that enjoy walks in a stroller and their lavish lifestyle. I have a female kitten who is less than a year old. They have successfully gotten to love each other and eveybody is litter box trained. I'd say they are well taken care of.

About: I've been a caretaker of dogs, cats, parrots, rats, rabbits, reptiles, horses, emus, pigs, goats, sheep, waterfowl, poultry and wildlife for over 20 years. I only work away from home 3 days a week, for 4 hours at a time, and it's 7 minutes down the road from my house. Allowing me to spend most of my time at home with your pets! On the days I'm gone for a few hours, my husband is home. I have multiple different fenced in areas for exercise and safe potty brakes. Ranging from 4ft high fencing, all the way up to 8ft high fencing (assuming they wouldn't mind a few emus or goats walking around). I can accommodate the snuggly dogs that can't bear to be left alone long and also anti-social/more difficult dogs who just needs a place to stay and it's difficult to find options for. I have several "Retriever" kennel panels and can build either outdoor kennels with dig proof wire floor or indoor kennels in my walk-out basement (if requested).
