Caitlin was able to get Lucy to start eating well again and encouraged her to interact with the other dogs. Caitlin is extremely organized and sends photos and texts regularly. “Kat and her partner did great with Marv. We had to scramble to get him in last minute for an over night trip so she was okay with skipping the meet and greet. They said he did good but for whatever reason didn’t get along with her dogs. They still took great care of Marv and cuddled him and gave him great care and attention regardless of him not getting along with their dogs. We really appreciated them working with us and taking good care of Marv. Would definitely recommend them to anyone for a good easy to work with dog sitter! They even let us know we can change our settings to find a sitter with no dogs of their own so Marv doesn’t run into any additional issues with other dogs.”

They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. I think Rover is a great alternative medium way for me to continue providing my love for dogs, and give back to the community. I am home quite often, most of the days if need be. I can work from home. My current entrepreneurial endeavor allows me to build my own schedule. In my home I would keep K9 nearby in my two main level living rooms. I have all laminate hardwood wood flooring. The fenced backyard allows for easy potty breaks and play time, however I will be with the K9 while they are outside to ensure their safety.

I am a hair stylist I got my dog grooming classification also l. Want a quick bath or blow out need a trim absolutely!!! I can do anything you need from a simple blow out to a full cut and groom. I love walking and playing with animals or just cuddling and being that companion they need when parents are away! I have felt with animals with sensitive skin and diets I can also handle medication and dogs who just don’t like meeting new people. About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. I live in a single family home with an unfenced yard, but any bathroom breaks would be under my full watch and care. About: I grew up with animals of all kinds and love to be around them. I have experience with all kinds and ages, from newborn to super seniors. Two of my childhood dogs required medication, I have experience administering injections and oral medications. I also have experience administering topical and oral medications to cats. I have few routine obligations and will likely be able to make any pet sitting requests a priority. I am generally available from about 8:00am until 11pm every day. I do run a business out of my home and often have markets to attend on weekends, so my weekend availability may be slightly less flexible than my weekday availability. I can stop by on whatever schedule you desire and interact with your pet(s) as close to the way you would as I can. My goal is to provide care as similar to yours as possible so that your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time with me. With drop in care, I will be sure to administer medications, feed, water, and groom as instructed as well as cleaning litter boxes and extra gifts, and, of course, providing desired attention. I will respect your rules, your home, and your privacy. With dog walking, I will do my best to make sure they stay safe and comfortable while having a great time and getting plenty of exercise. Services include drop in dog walks and play sessions and overnight pet sitting for short or long terms. I’ve cared for two large fluffy dogs with special needs for two months at a time. I also looked after a high energy chihuahua for three weeks, routinely walking three or four times a day to burn some extra energy! I work full time in Bloomington from 9-6, Monday - Friday. Walks will take place as late as 8am or earlier, during lunch break if you’re home is within 15 miles of Bloomington, and after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and I am comfortable transporting the dogs to a dog park or swimming spot if they do well on field trips! I’m more of a homebody and love to play and interact with animals in their home. Your house rules & pet care needs will be met with respect and understanding. I have volunteered at 2 different animal shelters since I was 15 years old as well as fostered both cats and dogs. I have experience in training young pets from working with my own over the years I work a flexible part-time schedule, meaning I am only away for a few hours at a time during the week. About: I use to work with kids so nothing suprises me and I'm very good under pressure. I always find another way. I love all animals I'll even watch your other pets. I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, birds, and etc just ask. I'm always willing to learn. A month and a half after getting my puppy she jumped out of my sister arms so I had a energized mini aussie on my hands that had to wear a splint for her broken leg. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

About: My whole life I have always preferred animals over humans so as an adult my goal has been to turn it into my profession. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
