About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. I live in a single family home with an unfenced yard, but any bathroom breaks would be under my full watch and care. I have one sweet but shy cat, but she has her own room if your pet is not okay with other animals.
“Kassie was fabulous! I was nervous about leaving my 10 yr old dog with a stranger, but after meeting Kassie and her family of pets, I knew she was the right one. She was very attentive to my dog’s separation anxiety. Definitely booking with her again and I highly recommend her!”

About: Hey everyone, my name is Aric. I am originally from Peoria, Illinois but live in Champaign, Illinois. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. We get along great. Currently, I have one dog and two cats of my own. I have extra space in my house and am able to keep Rover animals separate. Please read all of my profile and contact me before requesting a service. One important thing to know is that Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. If you can pay directly via Cashapp, Venmo, or Zelle, my rates will be lower than what is listed. Or, if you prefer to still use Rover for payments, that is ok. Send me a message if you have any questions. Hola a todos, me llamo Aric (Eric con A) y muchas personas que hablan el español me llaman mi segundo nombre Enrike (Enrique con K). Soy de Peoria, Illinois y vivo en Champaign, Illinois. He tenido perros y gatos toda mi vida. I take great care of my animals every day. I am very good with structed routines for me and my animals. Currently, my dog and two cats live with me. I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My profile accurately reflects services and prices. However, there may be some potential flexibility in order to meet the needs of my clients. Please read my entire profile including the introduction area where I mention how Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. Day Care and/or Boarding: All my animals are up-to-date on vaccines. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
“Ryan did a great job communicating about my dog while in his care and the meet and greet before the stay was very helpful. Ryan’s dogs are welcoming and it was nice knowing Ryan was home most of the day and able to walk my dog to keep him on a routine.”

“Terri was awesome! She took great care of our kitties - we loved the thorough ‘report cards’ after each visit and I’m sure the cats loved all the extra attention! 10/10 would recommend, will definitely rebook for next time!”

About: I've also had cats my entire life, including raising kittens and caring for rescued cats. I understand that every cat has a unique personality some want constant attention while others prefer their space. I'm experienced with feeding, litter box care, playtime, administering basic care, and recognizing when a cat needs a little extra patience or comfort. I know how important it is for cats to feel safe in their own environment, and I'll make sure your cat receives attentive, gentle care while you're away.
“This is the second time we have had Misty cat sit for us while we’re away for vacation. She has been so amazing and loving to our Kitty. Definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs!!”

“We came back home to two wonderful and content kitties. Christine did a great job taking care of our two shy cats and our house. We were in constant contact so we felt safe to leave them in her care.”
About: I grew up with dogs and have house sat my brother's dog on numerous occasions throughout the time I've been in the Champaign area. I have also house sat cats for a friend back in Indiana. I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. I love to play with them, talk to them, and love on them as if they're my own if people let me! As of right now, I have plenty of time to play with your pets! Unless I have prior commitments, I am unlikely to refuse a request. I grew up with dogs, and I've house sat cats before, as I've mentioned. They always had food, water, playtime, and plenty of love and attention as they saw fit. I treat others' pets as if they're my own

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve rescued two cats of my own, and they are truly part of our family. 🐈🤎 I also worked for several years as a veterinary assistant, and I absolutely loved my time in that career. It deepened my love for animals in ways I never knew possible and taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and understanding each animal’s individual needs. I know cats each have their own personalities, routines, and comfort levels. Whether your cat loves attention, prefers a little space, or is somewhere in between, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your cat deserves more than just a check-in—they deserve genuine love and attention. 🐾

About: I have grown up with multiple cats and spent years working with cats of all ages, temperaments, and breeds. Between my hands-on shelter work, fostering, and personal life, I provide a calm, knowledgeable, and safe environment for your kitties.

About: Greetings. First - thank you for considering me and my services! I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings.
“My cat Fig loved her time with Anj, and I loved knowing she was getting lots of playtime, pets, and her food and water taken care of. Anj sent pictures each time she visited Fig which gave me peace of mind seeing how happy she was, even while I was away for a week.”

“11/10! Madison is a wonderful caretaker! This was our first time using Rover, and we hired Madison to watch our three cats while we were out of town for a few days. It was such a relief to have her help; she was highly responsive to all our questions, attentive to our concerns (she even took notes!), and most importantly, she did a great job looking after our pets. She was flexible and able to work with our needs and those of our cats and always sent us detailed reports on how they were doing, including dozens of pictures. Madison made us feel extremely reassured and comfortable with leaving our cats in her care. We will be sure to hire her again if we ever need someone to look after our pets.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Garrett
About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.
“Annadel and Jose were great hosts! My dog had a great time and I received videos of her playing as well as updates. They were also responded quickly to messages. I highly recommend and would certainly use them in the future.”

“Feiran is an awesome dog sitter. My dog Ben always loved going to her house for day care. Ben used to stay weekly and I always received pictures and videos from walks and play time. Ben was always exhausted and went to bed after day care. Feiran was always very accommodating and I would recommend her to anyone that needs a safe and great environment for their dog. I'd leave Ben with her over any kennel or dog day care facility. Thank you Feiran!”
“She was very kind and very accommodating! I was having surgery that day. The time I was going to be let out of the hospital depended on things going as planned. She fine with my being later than I had planned. My brother, who wasn’t so sure about leaving “our” Charlie with someone he didn’t know, picked Charlie up for me and was very pleased with Aratrika and the way she treated our little girl!!! I will definitely be bringing Charlie to Aratrika whenever I need a sitter. Thank you so much taking such good care of my little one!”

“Ryan was great! Easy to communicate with, clearly very experienced, and my pup had a great time with him. He was very flexible around my chaotic work schedule, which I also appreciated.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15 years old for family and friends. I live an active lifestyle and love going for walks and runs with your furry friend. It is my goal to give your pet the exceptional care they'd receive from their own owner and love them well while you're away! I am home for the majority of the day during the week and have frequent weekend availability as well. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to assist at all hours of the day. Our sunroom is a great place for your animal to curl up and enjoy a nap in the sunshine.

“Caitlin is hands down THE BEST!!!! Miles and Mabel spent the day with her and received the utmost care. She is so wonderful at knowing animals, knowledgeable about everything dogs related, and she provides exquisite, attentive care. We ❤️ Caitlin!”

About: I like most sitters, love all animals and have always been a big animal person. My strongest skills would be senior care. I have taken care of a lot of senior dogs and cats over the years. I myself also have a senior dog. My senior dog also has epilepsy. She’s medicated, but still has seizure semi often so given that I’ve also gained skills in administrating medicine and also dealing well with stressful situations with a pet. “Breonne, went above and beyond with my dog. I am here for training and I was worried about my dog, she made me feel at ease and kept me informed while she walked my dog. I would highly recommend her, taking care of our fur babies. 5 stars all day.”
About: My family has had a rescue dog since she was a puppy and is now a senior dog. I know I will be able to exceed your pets needs and provide lots of love and attention! I am currently a stay at home mom to a 1 year old boy. My schedule is very flexible because of this and I would prefer to bring him to drop ins and keep him in a car seat but I have babysitters if you are not comfortable with that! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat on a few acres of land so they are very active outside. I used to live in an apartment and would exercise my 3 year old lab retriever for about 2 hours a day! I love playing fetch and games with our animals and am excited to entertain your pets!

About: I know what it takes for a dog to have a wonderful time! Too many dogs spend their days stuck in a kennel, and it breaks my heart. I also believe that it helps a dog to stay in familiar surroundings. I offer in-home pet-sitting, not just for your convenience, but for the best interests of your dog. I’ve raised dogs all my life. Over time, my interests turned to breeding and showing. I presently have my own dogs, Stanley and Stella. 2 mini shar pei. These experiences have made me deeply aware of what a dog needs to be happy and healthy. Meet-and-greets are essential for obtaining all necessary information in advance of the sit and making sure everyone gets along well. You’re entrusting me with both your dog and your home, and I treat that responsibility with the utmost seriousness. I’ll be punctual, and will ask about everything I need to know during the sit. During the stay, I will maintain a daily diary of what your dog and I are up to, so that when you return, you’re assured we had a fantastic time. I have been showing and breeding for over 30 yrs. we had a thriving pet sitting/transport company for many years before retiring to Wisconsin. Don't trust your pets to just anyone. Trust in my experience!! I am able to administer meds either orally or via injection. I am safety conscious and care for your beloved pets! I provide drop in service and house sitting. Iprovide additional services like watering plants and bringing in mail at no additional charge. I pet sit for bogs, cats, birds and horse. Little friends also like gerbils or snakes !! Trust your pet care to an experienced pet sitter ! Feel free to contact me with any questions or for more information. I work full time with Rover. I have a busy schedule so let’s chat and see if I’m available during your time of need a pet sitting or housesitting. I only do care in your home. I do not do any boarding. My belief is your pet will be more comfortable in his own surroundings. This makes for a stress-free pet sitting

I live in a spacious apartment within a secure, gated community surrounded by walking trails. My home is a quiet, low-stress environment with just me and my roommate. As a professional caregiver for humans, I am highly experienced in following specific routine instructions and will treat your space and your pet with the utmost respect.
About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.

About: I am a proud mother of a 9yr old son and an 15 yr old daughter.. My daughter is usually at school for most of the day. However, caring for both full time I have come to notice animals stimulate both kids and teach them respect, responsibility and routine. We are excited to em"bark" on this new chapter in life and cant wait to start. Together, I believe all 3 of my family unit would not only love, but sincerely enjoy even the smallest and largest pets while their 'parents' are away or just need some attention. With summer upon us - my schedule (and helping hands) have become more flexible. Currently, I am available every day from 6am to 7pm. Holidays, weekends, and every day that ends in "Y"! With respect to the pet , clients home, and specific care needs, I try to always keep an open mind and heart but keeping respect in the foreground.

About: I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy taking care of them. I don’t have pets of my own right now, but I’ve been pet sitting on and off for several years and have cared for friends’ dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. I’ve also helped friends find new homes for their pets, including providing a temporary place for some animals to stay while they waited to go to their new home. Over the years, I’ve learned that every animal has their own personality and routine. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive, and I take the time to get to know each pet and what makes them comfortable. I’m happy to follow their normal routines, take dogs on walks and give them plenty of exercise and attention, and make sure they’re well cared for while their owners are away. I work from home three days a week, which gives me a flexible schedule to fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening walks, as well as feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I’m also regularly in two different locations throughout the week, so I’m able to provide care in both areas. I live in a small, quiet space, which provides a calm and comfortable environment for pets staying in my home. Since I don’t currently have pets of my own, they would have my full attention and I can focus on making them feel safe and comfortable. I would follow the routine and instructions provided by their owner, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any other specific needs. I’m also able to be present and provide companionship throughout their stay.
About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! Currently, I have 2 dogs, a Jack-Russell mix named Jake and a Beagle mix named Macy. They are extremely pet/people friendly and they love new company! Also, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a a few years, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and taking care of your pets special needs. I will provide whatever accommodations that are needed and I will make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable. Most of all, I will always keep an open line of communication with you. I know how it feels being away form your pet and I know the importance of regular updates and pics. I look forward to hearing from you and I can’t wait to met your pets! :) 🏡 House Sitting + Boarding 🏡 (Overnight) Evening - Morning; I do offer some flexibility, however there could be an additional fee if check in/out times are drastically different from what I have set. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.

I will send pictures and videos of what we are doing-walks, how much your pet has eaten, treats, playtime, and playtime.
About: My whole life I have always preferred animals over humans so as an adult my goal has been to turn it into my profession. I have cared for all kinds of animals from bugs to sheep, the least being livestock but i would love to learn more and better my skills in every way I can. With animals I am always down for whatever can or will come my way. In the most recent years I have been doing a lot of work with the pups that are a little extra spicy✨ after finding my own dog in a corn field and her ending up with reactivity and aggression, it really opened my mind to not just be a dog lover but someone who understands dog behavior to be able to keep them happy☺️ Unless I am out of town(rarely happens) I can almost always make it work! Even if it’s adding an xtra visit to make sure your baby gets everything they need🫶🏻 I care for every animal like I would my own babies. I like to keep things as close to normal for them as possible so never feel like you are telling me too much!

“Gilana was an incredible sitter for my dog, Edison! I recently moved into town and it’s always tricky to find someone new to trust with caring for your pet. Gilana was kind, communicative, and clearly made Edison feel right at home. I also felt extra confident that Edison was in good hands knowing she is training in the veterinary field. What really made her stand out is I had a very stressful, last-minute flight change, which left me stuck across the country for an extra day. Gilana was able to extend coverage for Edison. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her flexibility and understanding. Thank you, Gilana!”

“Rachel was great and treated my pup with so much love! I was visiting from out of town and she sent lots of photos and updates which helped ease my anxiety about leaving my pup with someone else in a new city!”

“Marissa was fabulous, so sweet, and did a great job taking care of my dog Gus. Communication was great and she sent me updates and pictures while I was away. I highly recommend using Marissa and will definitely rebook for my next trip.”

“Ginger looked like she felt right at home at Katherine's. Katherine is very caring, capable and understanding. And I was very comfortable leaving Ginger in her charge. Thank you, Katherine!”

“Ben did an amazing job taking care of my 2 fur babies when I had to make an emergency last minute trip to Chicago. He was very friendly and professional and the dogs loved him! He communicates regularly and sends photos and updates! You'll know what your pets are up to and gow they are doing!”
