“Aratrika was absolutely wonderful with our senior cocker spaniel. She helped him through his separation anxiety and was fantastic with communication, updates, and adorable photos and video. She also saved us with a super last minute booking. We are so appreciative! Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“My dog Hank stayed with Feiran for 2 weeks and had a great time! Hank loved hanging out with the other pups and was clearly super well cared for. Feiran kept me in the loop with regular videos and updates, which was so reassuring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

About: Hey everyone, my name is Aric. I am originally from Peoria, Illinois but live in Champaign, Illinois. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. We get along great. Currently, I have one dog and two cats of my own. I have extra space in my house and am able to keep Rover animals separate. Please read all of my profile and contact me before requesting a service. One important thing to know is that Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. If you can pay directly via Cashapp, Venmo, or Zelle, my rates will be lower than what is listed. Or, if you prefer to still use Rover for payments, that is ok. Send me a message if you have any questions. Hola a todos, me llamo Aric (Eric con A) y muchas personas que hablan el español me llaman mi segundo nombre Enrike (Enrique con K). Soy de Peoria, Illinois y vivo en Champaign, Illinois. He tenido perros y gatos toda mi vida. I take great care of my animals every day. I am very good with structed routines for me and my animals. Currently, my dog and two cats live with me. I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My profile accurately reflects services and prices. However, there may be some potential flexibility in order to meet the needs of my clients. Please read my entire profile including the introduction area where I mention how Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. Day Care and/or Boarding: All my animals are up-to-date on vaccines. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

“Rae was great! I know G was well taken care of making a stress free weekend for us! Rae was extremely helpful with the whole process as it was out first time leaving G. I received many photos throughout the stay which was extra helpful!”

“Kellie was wonderful! She was thoughtful and asked all the right questions to make sure she could give my dog Jersey the best care possible. I'll definitely be looking to Kellie for my future pet-sitting needs!”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I started working from home which gave me more time to spend with my dog. I realized how close we got and how spoiled I made him. I love dogs and will care for each dog as if they are my own. I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. The dogs will be cared for
“First time ever having a sitter take care of of my cat and dog. She gave me updates and made sure she was properly cared for! i described the littler box needed to be cleaned once a day and it was so clean when i got it back i was so grateful! My dog had so much fun and she came back 10x softer! I booked multiple nights back to back and she kept going on with amazing care”

“Caitlin is the absolute best!!! We left Miles with her while we were gone away for the week, she was so very attentive and wonderful! We got pictures of Miles the entire time we were gone! She intuitively knows dogs and what they need and I trust her 100%!!! She knew what Miles needed to help him feel safe and comfortable even though he is a nervous pup I know he felt loved and cared for while we were gone! Caitlin is AMAZING!!!!!”

“Rachel took care of our dog, Autumn, for the week between Christmas and New Years. She was wonderful! Her home is a warm, comfortable, friendly place for any pet, and she took Autumn on long engaging walks, and even hiking in nearby state parks. She sent regular photos, with heartwarming and hilarious descriptions of how Autumn was getting along with the cats and chickens. Rachel was super communicative, and we are so grateful she was able to accommodate pick up and drop off on holidays - not many folks can/will do that. It means the world to have found a sitter like Rachel; we will definitely reach out to her the next time we travel without our pup!”

“Bailey and Wade were fantastic with our senior “high maintenance” dog. We received daily updates and pictures of our guy having the best time! They did great calming him when storms came through! Definitely will book with Bailey & Wade again! Thank you!😊”

“I cannot stress enough how AMAZING Hannah was! Not only was she great at communicating with me, but she kept me updated the whole time my puppy was in her care. This was my first time boarding my dog through Rover, and she made it a great first experience. I loved knowing that my puppy was getting well taken care of while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Hannah again(:”
“Ginger looked like she felt right at home at Katherine's. Katherine is very caring, capable and understanding. And I was very comfortable leaving Ginger in her charge. Thank you, Katherine!”

“Rose did a great job caring for my dog Kobi. It was Kobi’s first time boarding so I was nervous leaving her especially she just got diagnosed with Addisons, but Rose did so good with her. She kept me updated and sent photos/videos of her everyday. She was very accommodating with all of Kobi’s needs.”

“Christina did a great job watching our pup Royal! She’s a great disciplinary and nurturer! She has a comfortable environment for dogs to play and rest! Christina also sent us pictures while we were away to reassure us that Royal was having a great time and that he was safe ! We will definitely be booking with her again !”

“Lainey agreed to board my Golden and Aussie last minute and she did a phenomenal job! My Aussie does not like new people and struggles with severe anxiety and fear aggression. I was honest about his behaviors upfront and not once did she seem scared, which is so uncommon, even at dog boarding facilities. Because of her passion for animals, managing behaviors, and training, he had a successful stay and I could enjoy time away without worrying constantly. I can't begin to explain how freeing and relieving that was! I will be using Lainey in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you, Lainey!! You are such a blessing!”

“Thank you so much! Ryan was very communicative, and I had no concerns. He had to give one of our dogs medication twice a day, and he did so with no issues. Ryan has a nice fenced in yard. He sent pictures and responded quickly each time. He also understood the temperament of our dogs, and described them perfectly when we picked them up. We will be happy to have Ryan take care of our dogs again.”

“David was incredible!! This is my first time using Rover and being away from my girl since I adopted her, so I was very nervous about leaving her and didn’t exactly know the process on Rover. David was extremely caring, knew exactly how to ease my worries, sent the best pictures, and was an amazing communicator. I was confident knowing my cat was in the best hands while I was away, and I will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

“We had a great experience with Emma caring for Midnight over the past week. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly very caring with him. During the first few days, she checked in and asked thoughtful questions to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend Katie for taking care of your lovely pets when you are away. Thank you so much, Katie. Thank for the kitties' portraits in my kitchen. You are gifted and talented with arts and caring pets. Wish you all the best.”

About: Greetings. First - thank you for considering me and my services! I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings.
“Thank you, Ashe, for doing a great job with Oreo! She was not waiting at the door for me when I came home, which means her needs were met and she was happy! Appreciate your care with her!”

“She was very kind and very accommodating! I was having surgery that day. The time I was going to be let out of the hospital depended on things going as planned. She fine with my being later than I had planned. My brother, who wasn’t so sure about leaving “our” Charlie with someone he didn’t know, picked Charlie up for me and was very pleased with Aratrika and the way she treated our little girl!!! I will definitely be bringing Charlie to Aratrika whenever I need a sitter. Thank you so much taking such good care of my little one!”

“Feiran was excellent with Daisy. She was very communicative and sent so many awesome pictures/videos. I could tell Daisy had a great time there and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Sarah took great care of our dog while we were visiting our son. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Luna had fun with Sarah and her puppy. We’d love to book her services again for our future visits to Urbana.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

About: I adopted Hanson, a retired guide dog, and he’s now an angel in heaven. He showed me how deep the bond with a dog can be and is the reason I started caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and family. I give them lots of love and attention, and every pet I’ve cared for has grown really close to me. I treat each one like they’re my own. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending quality time with them, caring for animals is something I naturally make time for. It’s not just a task—it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to each day. I live alone, so pets get my full attention and a quiet, calm space to relax in. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable—whether that’s sticking to their routine, giving lots of playtime and cuddles, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any instructions closely to keep things familiar for their pet.

About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

I am home for the majority of the day during the week and have frequent weekend availability as well. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to assist at all hours of the day. I have an unfenced yard, but live close to walking trails and in a quiet neighborhood. I have children who adore dogs and look forward to being around them. It’s such a relief and gives me so much peace of mind!”

I’ve been happy to be pet sitting with Rover for approximately 3 years now. MY EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: Dogs, cats, exotic pets, freshwater fish, livestock, & farm animals. I have worked in conservation, with wildlife, and have volunteered at a dog & cat rescue, as well. I’ve raised birds, goats, pigs, rabbits, etc. Animal husbandry is a passion of mine. Have taken dog training classes (: Dogs and goats = life's best friends ❤️ Cats are a close second though, if they wanna be 😉 My friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals in the past. Please let me know how I can help care for your pet(s). AVAILABILITY: Now Scheduling until Aug 15th • typically any day, any time My books are always open additionally by request. About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, tarantulas, and horses. With my love and closeness to animals growing up, I continued into the veterinary medicine world after high school and have worked within clinic settings for the past 7 years! I am experienced and comfortable with administering both oral and injectable medications, bathing, and much more. I plan to become a certified veterinary technician as well in the near future. While I do work full time during the week, I am still often able to accommodate multiple visits a day due to my lunch break! I don’t mind an early morning to make sure your pets are taken care of before the workday either. Because mid-day visits are on my break, the time I will be available for these visit will be dependent on the travel time. As my apartment is too small to accommodate any dogs or additional cats, I would be treating your home with the utmost respect! It’s your (and especially your pet’s) safe space, and that needs to be protected. I will always clean up after any messes if they are made by your pet and reach out to make sure you’re aware!
About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10, my own included. I have been pet sitting for neighbors ever since I was 10. I work full time 830-430 so I am mostly available in the late afternoon/at night. My hours in those times are flexible. I am usually completely free during the weekend. I live in a pet friendly apartment with outdoor yard space. I have a roommate who loves all animals. I am very active and love to take dogs on the walks/runs and/or to nearby parks.
About: I feel comfortable with dogs of any size, breed, or age. I am glad to follow any special instructions you give and do my best to keep your pets safe and as comfy as possible. I like to communicate or send pics while you're away so you can feel assured your pets are being well cared for. I have fostered many dogs (and adopted a few), so have experience with an array of personalities. I'm looking forward to meeting your pet family too. I work from 8 to 4:30 or 5, weekdays. Im happy to attend to your pets before and after work, in the evening and overnight, lunch breaks as well if needed. I prefer to "sitt" in your home in order to help keep them as comfy and on the same routine as possible. I believe in following the care instructions of the parents to a tee. I will give your fur babies lots of love and send you pics or videos if you'd like. I am trustworthy and dependable.
About: I bring years of hands-on animal care experience from veterinary clinics, kennels, and long-term pet sitting, including special-needs care for a senior dog who requires diapers, hourly potty breaks, medication management, and a strict diet. My background in veterinary support and my 5-year commitment to caring for three dogs from one family means I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable supporting pets with complex routines. I treat every animal with patience, confidence, and genuine love, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because, with school wrapping up, I have plenty of time to focus on consistent, reliable visits. I plan my days around each pet’s needs, keeping feeding, walks, and medications on schedule while balancing a few prior commitments on set days. For the most part, I’m available daily, which allows me to offer flexible booking, dependable check-ins, and attentive pet-focused care that never feels rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly, keeping feeding, meds, and potty schedules consistent while maintaining a calm, clean environment. I provide gentle companionship, monitor behavior and health closely, and send regular updates so owners feel connected and reassured. My goal is to respect the home, reduce stress, and ensure every pet feels safe and understood.

About: My goal in life is to be your pets newest best friend. I have had experience with my very vocal and fat beagle that is 6. As well as a retired belgian malinois bomb dog that is 10. I can play fetch for hours, play games, or sit and cuddle a coach potato. I can be at your door anytime I do not have class at my flight school! I work part time at a coffee shop but my hours are very low because of school. I would really like pet sitting to be my job instead as I transition into this. I am attending a flight school to become a pilot. I am there just for a few hours a day through the week. But any chance I get I will pet sit! Since having experience with dogs and cats. I understand I am a visitor in THEIR home. I will make sure I do not intrude and make each visit a positive time. Walking, crating, potty breaks, a good cuddle and pet are all things I will do 100%. I also am at deep cleaning typical litter boxes, and can clean crates as well. If you have a fenced in yard I will play for hours. I love to walk dogs as long as they can be walked safely! Cats are pretty independent but I would love to come pay them attention!
About: I’ve been around pets for as long as I can remember, so I’m very familiar with their daily needs, routines, and behavior. I also have experience dog sitting, where I’ve helped with walking, feeding, and spending time with pets. I bring strong responsibility and attentiveness from working in both an elementary school and a retirement home through Greencroft Communities! These experiences taught me how to follow detailed instructions, stay patient, and provide consistent, caring support in structured environments. I apply the same level of reliability and attention when caring for pets, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well looked after during walks and sitting visits. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and am available most days. I enjoy a long walk with dogs if needed but short walks are perfect too! Drop-ins and sitting visits are something I will adjust my time as needed to provide consistent and reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and respect for the home environment. I follow all provided instructions closely, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I stay attentive during visits and communicate with owners if anything changes or needs attention. I treat each pet as if they were my own and focus on making sure they feel comfortable, calm, and well cared for while their owner is away.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.

“Theresa and Scott were absolutely amazing I would let them watch Colby anytime! They really treated Colby like one of their own and I know he made tons of new friends with all their pups!! They sent tons of pictures and videos! I would recommend anyone that needs animal care to get hold of them!!”

“This was our second time boarding with Brittany, and we will be back! She takes the best pictures and gives us daily updates, and our pup was SO excited to see her when we dropped her off!”
