I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: I grew up with animals of all kinds and love to be around them. I have experience with all kinds and ages, from newborn to super seniors. Two of my childhood dogs required medication, I have experience administering injections and oral medications. I also have experience administering topical and oral medications to cats. I have few routine obligations and will likely be able to make any pet sitting requests a priority. I am generally available from about 8:30am until 11pm every day. I can stop by on whatever schedule you desire and interact with your pet(s) as close to the way you would as I can. My goal is to provide care as similar to yours as possible so that your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time with me. With drop in care, I will be sure to administer medications, feed, water, and groom as instructed as well as cleaning litter boxes and extra gifts, and, of course, providing desired attention. About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals. Throughout my life I have had many animals from birds and Guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Koda, my youngest dog was completely trained by me in German commands. Working with dogs to learn new things is one of my favorite things to do. My oldest dog, Motley is a senior and the past couple years I have become very educated and trained on administration of medication and post surgery care. With experience from my own pets, I have many reliable references I have gained over the years that can vouch for me on my loving, dedicated, and superior care with their fur babies. I am currently a nanny and have almost completely open availability. I work Monday through Thursday during the day but can still do visits anytime! And I’m off Friday through Sunday so anytime those days as well! When visiting your home I am happy to provide any services you may need for your pet. This includes special feeding instructions, medication distribution, daily walks, baths, guaranteed playtime, and more all while treating them as my own with so much love! I am also happy to do drop in visits while you are at work or walks to get your babies steps in.

From 24/7 all around care and attention: Diet, exercise, interactive play, traveling included, bathing/grooming, and medical care. All injuries are researched and attended too with remedies at home and if required, vet visit. Vet visit only with consent, if required. Contact me as needed, messaging/pictures will be provided. Food, potty needs, bedding/crate is taken care of. Hiro follows me everywhere. Hiro is my own dog, he’s a golden retriever mix with Great Pyrenees, he’s picky about when he eats his own food. I expect your dog and or cat will be different and have its own personality. As for how your animal fits into my daily will depend on how it goes. Most animals love me, knock on wood. I will keep you posted the whole time. The first time I had Hiro boarded I requested a video. It’s understandable. Your pets are like children. Crate training and potty training provided, if needed. Will need dog paddings. I love my dog and I will love yours as my own, depending on what your dog needs, we can manage and arrange things.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
