About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life from big dogs to small. I love walking my own dogs in forest preserves and I have dog-sat my neighbor’s dog before. I also worked at a pet store for a few months. I’m currently in school and have a part time job, but my mornings during the weekdays from 6 am to 11am are free to walk your dogs. “Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I received numerous pics and videos that I thoroughly enjoyed. I met Terrell when I was leaving, and he seemed just as wonderful. I would give her 100 stars if I could.”

With a background in law enforcement adjacent positions and a TS clearance. Clean background. We can administer insulin and give oral medications. We also LOVE elderly animals. We are licensed bonded and insured. And have decades of the world under our feet. Animals are like people to us. We actually prefer them, and function with them better. Living on a five acre hobby farm for over a decade. They are literally our family now that the kids have aged into adults. It’s me and my husband Mike here. My family helps me operate a small pet care business out of Big Rock IL. House Sitting: We treat your home with respect and follow all of your rules. Water plants. Get mail. And stick to pet schedules. Please advise we do this full time. Each sitting is different as each animal and owner ask for different things. If full time care is needed it will be an extended stay rate of 125 for 8am through 8pm hours and 75 for the night. If we can’t come and go. We can’t make money. This is all I do for income and no one can survive off of only 75 or less for the day. Otherwise most sittings look like me making that my center of gravity through any schedule I have for the day. Usually no longer than four to six hours away from the home while out with drops in accrued in a single day. For Boarding: PLEASE READ: This is a home setting; we do not consistently tour our home. I believe the photos on here and reviews do us justice. We send pet parents updates with the surrounding view almost daily to every other day. Having people walk through the house consistently was just too much for out family and the farm animals here. So we do not do this anymore. In the future we may build a kennel/outbuildings addition, and will offer tours of that should the time ever come that we decide to do that. But again, WE DO NOT PROVIDE TOURS OF OUR PERSONAL HOME. There are also other considerations to consider that most residential people do not account for. 1. Liability coverage: my liability coverage covers your animals. Not you. 2. Animal anxiety: it’s a chain. The system I have for doing things allows for animals to be as calm and anxiety free as possible. If you’re on the property. The regulars don’t know you and anxiety fills the entire area. 3. Biosecurity: Don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t know where your shoes have been. 4. Private farm setting: exactly as it states. The lay out past my private acres long drive does not even allow access to my front door without going through two secured gates. It’s not easy access. 5. Safety: I live in the middle of nowhere, and do not need anyone to know the exact lay out of my home. You’re signing up for pet service. I am providing this service. Not giving people access to my home. Thank you for understanding. Please note this is a country setting. Someone is always here if I (Kim) am not. Sometimes photos have issues sending. But they always eventually go through. Service can be patchy because it’s the country. Text updates are reliably daily. I pride myself on building close relationships with my clients. I treat the animals I care for with top priority as my family does this full time and this is our entire income. Our reviews and the animals we care for speak for themselves. If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your animals with truth, trust, and transparency. Personally, I previously worked at PetCo in addition to volunteering with PAWS Chicago. In both roles I received extensive training in caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. About: My family has been part of Rover for 10 years and have gained a network of regular animals. I have taken care of many types and breeds of animals including my own family pets. I've had 3 dogs, 3 cats, a chinchilla, a guinea pig, and fish so I can handle most animals. Overall, I am pretty open on weekdays after 11:00 am and can do overnight stays as well. I am available all day on weekends as well. I am in an apartment that does not allow pets so I am looking to have time with animals through Rover. I miss my animals back home since I am away at college so I would never put an animal in danger since I know how important a pet can be to someones life.
About: I grew up around dogs as my grandma was a verified trainer and breeder. I’ve been around all sizes of dogs ranging from German Shepards to Corgis. I had my own dogs growing up that were professionally trained. While I no longer have my own dog, I am around one constantly and have always had a love for them. I do work the weekends at a restaurant so later at nights but during the weekdays, I am almost always free and in town. I am a night owl but do wake up very easily in the mornings. I plan to follow and abide by any rules or boundaries that the owner sets for their home. I will not able to house any dogs at my own house but will make sure that any doors or yards are locked.
About: I have worked in kennel for 2 years. Currently, I work at a vet clinic. I have experience with dogs and cats. I can do drop ins, dog walking, spending overnights with the pets at owners home. I work full time and I am up bright an early. I can let you dogs out before and after work on weekdays. On weekend I can do drop ins, daycare and boarding at the owners house. I have reliable transportation. I will not have pets at my apartment due to size. I'd rather go to the owner's home for an easier transition for the dog/cat. About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am seeking full-time work in my field of behavioral therapy. I am in the early stages of hire at an elementary school in Minooka, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday, with 4:00pm at the earliest. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! “I feel like Kyle struck the jackpot when we found Renae for boarding! It was easy to arrange pick up and drop off and we were able to meet up beforehand so that Kyle could meet Renae's two dogs. Renae kept me posted with pictures and updates about how Kyle was doing. I'm a new dog owner and Kyle is young, so I didn't know how he'd adjust to a 2+ week stay with someone else, but he had a great time and was lucky to be able to find a new playmate in Renae's younger dog. I highly recommend Renae!”
