“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello! I've always had lots of pets growing up and have a love for furry companions. They truly are the heart of the family! Many friends and family will lean on me to watch over pets when they leave town and I'm looking to extend this service out to the community around me. About: ** I took some time off of Rover and I am back with a limited schedule due to work hours** I am an avid dog lover and dog mom to 2 pups. Most of my life has revolved around dogs and I wouldn’t want it any other way! At a young age, I was trusted by all of the nieghbors to dog sit. After college, I was fortunate enough to foster a few rescues from a local humane society. Fostering dogs was a very rewarding experience as it gave me my 2 babies, Milo and Bear. Unfortunately, Bear and Milo have now passed and I miss them terribly everyday. I currently have a Doberman named Ambrose and an Australian Shepard named Max. They are a bonded pair and have so much energy! I have experience with very large dogs and puppies as young as 2 months old— but I am comfortable with all breeds! I am available for dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. If you would like me to board your dog in my home, I welcome that as well! As long as they are dog friendly; my pups would love a new friend 😊 During the day on weekdays I work a full-time hybird job with flexibility. My in office days are Monday and Tuesday so usually unavailable those days. I am free for walks/drop ins during the week/weekend as well as house sitting. About: I've been studying dog behavior for over 9 years. I also have experience as a veterinary receptionist and grooming assistant. I train pet dogs on good behavior as well as rehabilitation for fearful or aggressive dogs. Safety is my #1 concern. Every dog that comes into my home is treated like family, as I do my own dogs. I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I would love to host your dog and make sure you are worry free while you're away! I work with dogs as a career and am home full time. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, we mainly had cats and dogs, but in recent years we have expanded to fish, birds, and frogs! At the moment, my family has 2 cats, 2 parakeets, and about a million fish. About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! About: I have worked in kennel for 2 years. Currently, I work at a vet clinic. I have experience with dogs and cats. I can do drop ins, dog walking, spending overnights with the pets at owners home. I work full time and I am up bright an early. I can let you dogs out before and after work on weekdays. On weekend I can do drop ins, daycare and boarding at the owners house. I have reliable transportation. I will not have pets at my apartment due to size. I'd rather go to the owner's home for an easier transition for the dog/cat. Unfortunately I am in an apartment so I will not be able to pet sit at my home, but whenever your pet needs to go outside I will keep an eye on them (especially if there is no fence)! About: Hi! My name is Lauren! I have had a dog me entire life and have watched other dogs for 10+ years. I have worked at Sweet Paws Retreat Boarding & Day Care and love animals. I have had a dog and multiple other pets all my life so I am used to animals any age and any breed. I am willing to stay over night, come for visits, walks, and play with toy to wear them out & of course give lots of earned treats!! I have my own transportation and I do not smoke. About: Hello! I've always had lots of pets growing up and have a love for furry companions. They truly are the heart of the family! Many friends and family will lean on me to watch over pets when they leave town and I'm looking to extend this service out to the community around me. I love walking dogs, playing with pets, and just giving them company. I'm extremely flexible with my schedule since I am a grad student in physical therapy and can accommodate any needs. Open to dog/house sitting, cat sitting, walking, and will include lots of belly scratches to any pets- big or small! I would love to help out in any way I can to make sure your furry family member gets the best care they can get! I can't wait to meet your pets! Until May, I just have class M - F 8a-12p. From May 13 - July 10th, I will have clinical and be working 40 hours a week with varying start/end times. Completely free on weekends! Very comfortable with working in whatever environment your pet is most comfortable with. Experience with fences, invisible fences, lines, and crating. I’m extremely respectful of maintaining a home environment and keeping up with a pet’s normal daytime routine!

She was also incredibly kind, communicative, and accommodating with our schedule, especially knowing we have a baby at home. On top of that, she made sure Paganini got his daily medication without any issues, which was such a relief.
