I was sleepy when I dropped Nova off and asked if a gas station was nearby to get coffee and Pete made me an espresso right then. I didn’t even have to msg to ask about Nova because they sent pics and videos and updates before I even had to ask. You can tell immediately that they are just genuine people and they really care about the animals and are very passionate about what they do. They provided an amazing place for Nova to stay the weekend and I was able to relax and enjoy my little weekend trip knowing that Novs was in the best care. They do special little activities with them and I could just go on and on. I hope that they are available next time I need a sitter for Nova because they provide exceptional service. About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years now and I love all animals! I can do puppies all the way to senior pets and I have no problem with any breeds! I also love reptiles and rodents if you have any in addition to dogs or cats, i’d happily do anything you need me to do for them! About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

I’ve pet sat a good variety of dogs, from border collies to labs and teeny little Pomeranian mixes! I DO NOT DO SLEEPOVERS I have a good deal of availability during the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I teach private lessons on Monday and Friday afternoons for a couple hours, otherwise my other jobs provide me a good deal of flexibility, so that I can pet set as much as possible! I do NOT do overnights! At my home our dogs have an electric fence, and have been properly trained not to cross the invisible line. I have also lived in areas where dogs are fenced in, and even with neither type of fence and just a long chain attached to the ground. Regardless I will take care of your pet regardless of the outdoor situation. I am pretty physically fit, so I can carve out some good time to take them on walks, long or short! During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! I currently am not working, as I have just recently graduated from Saint Louis University. In other words, I am more often than not, completely available to work anytime on Weekdays and Weekends. However, on June 1st, I will be starting an internship that requires 20 hours a week but my schedule is extremely flexible, as the internship is willing to adjust to whatever schedules I have. Because of my flexible availability, I am able to spend as much time with your fur baby as you would like me to. Whether it be cuddling, playing, or going outside, I will provide all of my attention and services to the care of your animals.
About: I have worked with dogs for several years in various settings. I have previous experience working in a veterinarian office, dog day care, dog walking/pet sitting, and have taken care of dogs in advanced training to become service dogs. Animals hold a very special place in my heart and I enjoy working with them and providing companionship and the highest quality of care! I work a non-traditional part-time job with varying hours throughout the week. I can care for your pets before and after my scheduled work times. I will do whatever the client would like rather that is playing with their dog(s) in their yard outside or taking your dog(s) for a walk.

“It doesn’t get any better than the amazing service that Pete and Amy provide. I was blown away at how much they go above and beyond not only for the pets but the pet owners. I was sleepy when I dropped Nova off and asked if a gas station was nearby to get coffee and Pete made me an espresso right then. I didn’t even have to msg to ask about Nova because they sent pics and videos and updates before I even had to ask. You can tell immediately that they are just genuine people and they really care about the animals and are very passionate about what they do. They provided an amazing place for Nova to stay the weekend and I was able to relax and enjoy my little weekend trip knowing that Novs was in the best care. They do special little activities with them and I could just go on and on. I hope that they are available next time I need a sitter for Nova because they provide exceptional service. They sent her home with the most amazing picture of her and a hand written note that was very touching. I would recommend them to everyone.”
