About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! Tour anytime! I’m allowed to bring my animals to work and they absolutely love it! Always hands on. My yard is very large and it works great for running and playtime. My neighbor dogs are so sweet! My pets are crate trained. I also have other large crates and the space! Free range is ok with me! I carry potty pads and diapers for male dogs just in case. I have a little senior Yorkie who needs them too.

I also love reptiles and rodents if you have any in addition to dogs or cats, i’d happily do anything you need me to do for them! About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats — for friends, family, and many clients through Rover — over the past decade. I am a physician research fellow completing a research fellowship at WashU, where I primarily work from home with a flexible schedule. About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

Ive been taking care of dogs my whole life, I am at home majority of the week so Im available to take out your fur baby multiple times a day, distribute medication and cuddle and give them the attention they crave. I am home five days a week and work two out of home with a flexible schedule. About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old. I’ve been taking care of them ever since! I have been watching other dogs since I was a teenager. I’ve pet sat a good variety of dogs, from border collies to labs and teeny little Pomeranian mixes! I DO NOT DO SLEEPOVERS I have a good deal of availability during the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I teach private lessons on Monday and Friday afternoons for a couple hours, otherwise my other jobs provide me a good deal of flexibility, so that I can pet set as much as possible! I do NOT do overnights! At my home our dogs have an electric fence, and have been properly trained not to cross the invisible line. I have also lived in areas where dogs are fenced in, and even with neither type of fence and just a long chain attached to the ground. Regardless I will take care of your pet regardless of the outdoor situation. I am pretty physically fit, so I can carve out some good time to take them on walks, long or short! And I can take the dog on short or long walks and make sure they’re happy and safe. About: I used to foster dogs. My yard is pretty big and I have a doggie door. My dogs do not mind visitors. I am off work during the summer and all major holidays. I am a teacher so I am off for the summers. When school is in session, I get off early and I am usually home before 4pm. I have a fenced in yard that can be accessed by a doggie door. I have 3 small dogs. I walk them and play with them on a regular basis. I also have 2 cats.
About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! I currently am not working, as I have just recently graduated from Saint Louis University. In other words, I am more often than not, completely available to work anytime on Weekdays and Weekends. However, on June 1st, I will be starting an internship that requires 20 hours a week but my schedule is extremely flexible, as the internship is willing to adjust to whatever schedules I have. Because of my flexible availability, I am able to spend as much time with your fur baby as you would like me to. Whether it be cuddling, playing, or going outside, I will provide all of my attention and services to the care of your animals.
About: I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy spending time caring for them, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that pets are family, so I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and love I would want for my own. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime, and feel safe while their owners are away. I also understand that being in their own home helps many pets feel more relaxed and secure. I’m respectful of each client’s home and follow all care instructions carefully, including walks, medications, crate routines, bedtime routines, or any special needs. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve had both cats and dogs since I was a child. I am familiar with both small and large breeds. I currently have 1 cat, a German shepherd, and a mixed breed pup. I have a flexible schedule that will allow me to spend plenty of time with your pets! Im self-employed with a very flexible schedule so I will have plenty of time for walks, play-time and snuggles with your pups, and some pets & enrichment for the kitties! I am able to provide sessions for potty breaks, indoor and outdoor enrichment / play time, outdoor walks, and feeding times if needed. I can provide an update on your pets while I am there as well.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs/ animals for over 10 years. I can administer medications and attend to specific needs of your fur babies. No dog to big or small I am a full time student online so your pup will have plenty of play and snuggle time! We love to go on walks and are close enough to the beach for run time as well! I live in an apartment with multiple potty spots and fenced in yard for dogs to play in. Getting outside time will not be an issue for your puppers. My own dog goes out every couple of hours and she would love to have some doggo friends!
About: I have worked with dogs for several years in various settings. I have previous experience working in a veterinarian office, dog day care, dog walking/pet sitting, and have taken care of dogs in advanced training to become service dogs. Animals hold a very special place in my heart and I enjoy working with them and providing companionship and the highest quality of care! I work a non-traditional part-time job with varying hours throughout the week. I can care for your pets before and after my scheduled work times. About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! Tour anytime! I’m allowed to bring my animals to work and they absolutely love it! Always hands on. My yard is very large and it works great for running and playtime. My neighbor dogs are so sweet! My pets are crate trained. I also have other large crates and the space! Free range is ok with me! I carry potty pads and diapers for male dogs just in case. I have a little senior Yorkie who needs them too.
