“Lainey agreed to board my Golden and Aussie last minute and she did a phenomenal job! My Aussie does not like new people and struggles with severe anxiety and fear aggression. I was honest about his behaviors upfront and not once did she seem scared, which is so uncommon, even at dog boarding facilities. Because of her passion for animals, managing behaviors, and training, he had a successful stay and I could enjoy time away without worrying constantly. I can't begin to explain how freeing and relieving that was! I will be using Lainey in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you, Lainey!! You are such a blessing!”

“Meghan took care of our dog while we are traveling over the holidays. When we had a family emergency come up and couldn't get back, she kindly offered to continue looking after him. We appreciate knowing that our dog is well taken care of in a difficult time. Will definitely book again.”

“Kassie was fabulous! I was nervous about leaving my 10 yr old dog with a stranger, but after meeting Kassie and her family of pets, I knew she was the right one. She was very attentive to my dog’s separation anxiety. Definitely booking with her again and I highly recommend her!”

“Beans had such a great time and I got videos and pictures everyday to know he was having a good time! Thank you so much beans can’t wait to go back and hang with his new friends :)”

“Bailey and Wade were fantastic with our senior “high maintenance” dog. We received daily updates and pictures of our guy having the best time! They did great calming him when storms came through! Definitely will book with Bailey & Wade again! Thank you!😊”

“Katherine did an excellent job of taking care of my Winnie, a large, athletic dog who craves attention from people. Katherine kept her engaged, playing games with her and throwing the ball in the backyard. She clearly has a lot of experience with dogs. Winnie came home a very happy pup.”

“Rachel was fantastic with our senior dog, Flo. Flo has mobility issues and multiple medications, and Rachel took great care of her when we were away. Flo and Rachel's endearing cat became nap buddies. Rachel sent us plenty of feedback and pictures to reassure us that Flo was OK. We would definitely book with Racheal again.”
“Rae did an amazing job caring for Bella. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Her communication and attention to detail were the best that I have ever received. Thank you so much Rae for helping me with Bella!”
“Aratrika was great with my puppy Winston! She constantly send me updates about him and he looked delighted to be under her care. Would definitely recommend her and use her services again!”

“I knew Summer would be in good hands when she immediately bonded with Kellie. Sometimes she can start shy, but she loved Kellie at first sight. Kellie really handles dogs well, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Summer with her. She took Summer on much-needed walks, something I’ve had a hard time doing in this weather, and she sent many pictures of her progress. I can’t wait to book again with Kellie! Thank you!”

“She did a very good job caring for my dog. He usually gets a little nervous being in unfamiliar settings which makes him not want to eat as much. She cared enough to still try to get him to eat something during his stay which I do appreciate. I would book again!”

“Ryan and his family were very nice. Traveller can be a handful and I hope things weren't too disruptive for them. He was considerate, polite, accessible, and really easy to work with. If I need another sitting job at any time, I'll ask for him first. He's just a nice guy who gets dogs and took care of mine at a time I needed it, and that was great.”

“Sarah was wonderful with my dog Lilia during her two-night stay! She was very friendly and took great care of her, including taking her on walks and sending me photo updates throughout the stay. It was so reassuring to know my dog was happy and in good hands. I would definitely book with Sarah again!”

“JungHwan is awesome! They were flexible for a last minute booking. Kept me up to speed on how things were going during the stay. Super friendly folks, zero hesitation to use them again.”

“Reliable helpful and the cats love her!! We can see them on camera running to the windows when she arrives . Ours are not shy cats but they don’t warm up quickly with strangers but they love Xiana!”

“My cat Fig loved her time with Anj, and I loved knowing she was getting lots of playtime, pets, and her food and water taken care of. Anj sent pictures each time she visited Fig which gave me peace of mind seeing how happy she was, even while I was away for a week.”

“Rachel was fantastic, and our Penny loved her! Rachel was very prompt with all of her communications, and she offered to come by and do a meet and greet before our appointment with her. We also appreciated her willingness to stop by for a second puppy visit after we found out we would be delayed getting home. Great young lady and a great puppy sitter!”

About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.
“Excellent. Feiran very laid back and sweet with dogs. Sent me updates of my three year old golden's first daycare day. He is rather spoiled and with me a great deal and he did great there. And, boy, was he tired last night. He slept from 8:45 pm to 8:45 am.”

“Ryan was our first time using Rover and he was awesome! Our silken windhound Maverick loved playing with his border collies. I loved getting updates with pictures of them playing together. It’s so hard to find someone who will do daycare for a non-neutered show dog, even when they have zero behavioral problems. 100% recommend Ryan if you want your pup to have a great day!”

“Aratrika has been a kind, loving partner in caring for Luna, our pup. Luna has a lot of puppy energy and loves being around people and other dogs. When Aratrika cares for Luna, she gets love and attention, as well as dog friends to play with. She has a big backyard, so the dogs get plenty of outdoor time, plus walks and cuddles. Very grateful I found her on Rover. I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a loving sitter!”

“Rae was excellent providing updates and pictures throughout the day. I appreciated the small report card she had ready for my pup about her day which was a nice personalized touch.”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I started working from home which gave me more time to spend with my dog. I realized how close we got and how spoiled I made him. I love dogs and will care for each dog as if they are my own. I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. The dogs will be cared for
“Anj took wonderful care of our cavapoo. Her communication was wonderful and she was very flexible, even administering his eye medicine when he injured himself the day of his first stay with her. We feel very confident using her services again and recommending her to anyone.”

About: I adopted Hanson, a retired guide dog, and he’s now an angel in heaven. He showed me how deep the bond with a dog can be and is the reason I started caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and family. I give them lots of love and attention, and every pet I’ve cared for has grown really close to me. I treat each one like they’re my own. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending quality time with them, caring for animals is something I naturally make time for. It’s not just a task—it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to each day. I live alone, so pets get my full attention and a quiet, calm space to relax in. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable—whether that’s sticking to their routine, giving lots of playtime and cuddles, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any instructions closely to keep things familiar for their pet.

About: I’ve never lived without an animal in my life I know the basics and more. I would give your pet so much care and love! I’m going to Eastern Illinois University for biological sciences with a pre-vet pathway. I hope to one day be a veterinarian, but I know wherever I go there I will be working with animals! I’m very passionate about what I do, I take pride in my work. I work part-time and my schedule varies , but only a regular of 4-5 hour shifts so I wouldn’t be away for long! I also am a full time student at EIU but I will always work your pet into my schedule and give them the care and love they deserve! We can always work out what days i’m free I can always stop by if I can’t stay longer! I would make sure the house stays clean and would take care of the pets and that’s all. If asked to sweep or water plants I would also do that!

About: I am a proud mother of a 9yr old son and an 15 yr old daughter.. My daughter is usually at school for most of the day. However, caring for both full time I have come to notice animals stimulate both kids and teach them respect, responsibility and routine. We are excited to em"bark" on this new chapter in life and cant wait to start. Together, I believe all 3 of my family unit would not only love, but sincerely enjoy even the smallest and largest pets while their 'parents' are away or just need some attention. With summer upon us - my schedule (and helping hands) have become more flexible. Currently, I am available every day from 6am to 7pm. Holidays, weekends, and every day that ends in "Y"! About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.

I have also learned a lot about pet care and animal behavior through my own research! I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and living at home. I commute to and from school everyday and my weekends are usually free! I am happy to share my class schedule in order to make sure we are the right fit! I always make sure to meet your animals in a way that they feel comfortable prior to services in order to ensure everyone’s safety. I usually bring treats or a toy so they know I am someone they can trust! I also am able to accommodate to any needs for your pet whether it’s medicine, a specific diet, or if you are working on any specific training with them.
“Madison is fantastic, attentive, and goes the extra mile!! Cleo LOVES walks with Madie and her tail wags as soon as she sees her. She has been so reliable and consistent with her help and we appreciate her SO MUCH!!”

About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! Currently, I have 2 dogs, a Jack-Russell mix named Jake and a Beagle mix named Macy. They are extremely pet/people friendly and they love new company! Also, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a a few years, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and taking care of your pets special needs. I will provide whatever accommodations that are needed and I will make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable. Most of all, I will always keep an open line of communication with you. I know how it feels being away form your pet and I know the importance of regular updates and pics. I look forward to hearing from you and I can’t wait to met your pets! :) 🏡 House Sitting + Boarding 🏡 (Overnight) Evening - Morning; I do offer some flexibility, however there could be an additional fee if check in/out times are drastically different from what I have set. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.
About: I love dogs. Big or small they are smart, intuitive, loyal and good judges of character. We will do different activities depending on your dog's personality, temperament, and age. Wether we go for a walk or play your loved one will get that one-on-one attention they so desperately need. If you need someone to wear out that puppy and make sure they get that good exercise, I'm your girl. If your dog is older and just needs a good pampering, I got you. I am available early mornings, brief afternoons, and late nights 7 days a week. My availability short notice will vary based on how close the pick up and drop off are. I live next to a dog park! And I know lots of other parks and good neighborhoods with nice shady sidewalks for your dog and I to explore. I am willing to share GPS location so you always know where your pet might be while with me.

“She knows what she’s doing! Took care of our dogs for four days without any issues and even took them on walks. She sent pictures and updates everyday which really took away any worries we had. Thank you Nina!”

“Alyssa stayed at our home for a week while we were away. She cared for our dog, 2 cats, fish, and hermit crabs! From what I could tell, all pets were fed and happy when we returned back home. Alyssa also sent photos throughout our trip. We could relax knowing our pets had proper supervision and care. It was a positive experience!”

“I contacted Anj on a bit of short notice and after booking, she made feel that I had made the right decision immediately. She took great care of Tammy and sent me update and pics frequently. I could definitely contact her to care for Tammy again and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Michelle did such a wonderful job taking care of my dog when I had to travel for work. It was always stressful for me if I had to travel and worry about my dogs but Michelle made it so easy for me this time. She’s so awesome communicating on scheduling and understanding how to take better care of my dogs. During the stay, doggos looked really happy and stress less from tons of wonderful pictures she sent to me. It’s not hard to tell that she truly cares for my dogs! I’ll definitely go back to her!”
