About: I’ve been around and caring for animals for most of my life, and pets are a huge part of my everyday routine. I have two friendly dogs of my own who love having someone new to play with, so your pup can have plenty of company and playtime while they’re here! We have a nice yard with plenty of room to play, lots of toys, and a comfortable home where pets are treated like part of the family. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play outside, give them plenty of attention, and stick to their normal feeding and care routine. I’m also comfortable caring for cats, senior pets, and pets that need a little extra patience or attention. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone else, so I’ll send plenty of pictures and updates and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pup attention throughout the day! I’m available for both doggy daycare and overnight boarding, including weekdays and weekends. Your dog will have plenty of playtime, outdoor time, walks, and time to relax. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while they’re here! I have two friendly, playful dogs and three very friendly cats, so there’s always plenty of company. We have a nice yard for outdoor time, plenty of toys and space to play, and lots of attention throughout the day. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and care routine, provide walks and supervised playtime, and can crate them if requested. I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how they’re doing throughout their stay!

He has stayed at the vet before and hated being in a small kennel, he has been to a kennel a couple times, and while taken good care of there—he was separated from being inside a house with a family—what he is used to and what dogs want!!! He is getting older, has medicine he takes and just wants a little love when we were out of town. He quickly made friends with both of their dogs!! Every day I was gone, I received updates throughout the day including pictures showing his fun! I would recommend 100%!! :)”

Rainier really enjoyed his time at their place being accepted into their pack and I received daily updates with photos. He even gave Rainier a bath which I have a difficult time getting him to do. Was worried that Rainier wouldn't want to even go back home with me he was having so much fun.”

Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. My shifts are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch from 12-1pm. I do typically have weekends off with the occasional Saturday and Sunday at my part time jobs in East Peoria. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. About 5 years ago I started animal sitting and house sitting for people I know and am now wanting to reach out further! Since I am unable to have a million of my own animals I love to care for other peoples babies like they are my own! I really enjoy making a special connection with animals and learning their quirks :) I have never had a problem while sitting, and I am positive when the time comes I can work through what is thrown at me. I am capable correctly administering meds to animals in need and adhering to a strict diet and feeding plan. I work full time (3 Days a week) at a hospital as a PCT. I generally work every other day MWF so I will be home quite a bit. In the past my boyfriend (who is a HUGEE animal lover) has also stayed and helped care for animals with me, he gets off work earlier than me so he generally helps with potty breaks and play time. On the days I am off I like to go on walks before the heat kicks up for the day and after dinner around 7pm when it cools down. I generally only care for clients animals in their own home to keep the pet feeling safe and leading to a more trustworthy relationship. There has been many times after the pet and I have gotten comfortable that we go on car rides to my home or out to watch little kid baseball games. I have taken dogs to day care to get some extra enrichment with their doggie friends as well.
