About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was really young. Other than always having a dog of my own, I’ve taken care of pets of family, friends, and neighbors. This past year has really been the first time I’ve been without a pet. My daughter and I have a lot of love and attention to give any furry friend. About: I have lots of years of animal care, animal sitting and house sitting. I've walked dogs of all sizes, big, small, etc. I've been doing pet care since I was about 14 years old, and use to house sit for a close friend of mine for years where I would feed the dogs, let them out to use the restroom, and stay to play with them. Now that I've moved to the Rockford area, I'm looking to establish trust, and offer the best care for your fur babies. I work full time, Monday through Friday. I can let animals out for potty breaks and food bowl checks after 6pm CST on the weekdays, or even late evening walks. Otherwise, weekends are completely open for walks, housesitting, and even overnights. I always make sure that your pet is safe, whether you have a fence, crate, or leash to keep them on. Before leaving, I'll make sure that the house is locked up, and that the pet is safe in their crate if needed. About: I’ve taken care of my sweet 70 lb pit bull for 4 years now in my home with a fully fenced backyard, downstairs dog play area, private room and crate for your dog, and eufy camera access to the private room. My dog has esophageal dysmotility so I understand medically complicated dogs. My home is ideal for a dog that is lower energy and enjoys calm and quiet environments. I work remote so I am home throughout the day other than the occasional doctor appointment. On average when I leave the home, it’s usually only about 2 hours and the max is about 4 hours. I also take my dog to a home groomer every other week so I can coordinate with you to take your dog to my groomer when my dog goes for grooming for an extra cost plus you paying the groomer separately. The most important thing is that your dog and my dog get along and/or are neutral. When I leave for brief periods your dog will be crated in their private room with the door closed and my dog will be loose but without access to your dog. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys! I work fully remote so your dog will be with me at all times (unless I have an appointment or errand to run) either in my office, their own private room with a crate, or in the living room. I typically wake up around 6 am and pet care happens whenever my dog needs so I can do the same for your dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding and play time. I am typically in bed by 8 pm but will get up if needed to take my dog out to the bathroom as well. Safety is my main priority. I require that our dogs get along/are neutral to one another to prevent any sort of altercation. If there ever is an altercation, you would be informed immediately and the dogs can easily be separated for the rest of the day/boarding booking. I have a very quiet and calm home and live in a quiet neighborhood as well. I take breaks during work to get on the couch and spend time with my dog and will do the same for yours! Your dog must be crate trained and will be put in a crate for any time I must leave the home (max 4 hours at a time). Your dog will also have to be either in their crate or in their private room with the door closed while I sleep. Them being able to be in their private room with the door closed while I sleep will be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high of a safety risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys!

About: Hello! I’m a full-time Pet Care Specialist. I’ve walked every pup from Shih-Tzus to Newfoundlands. I was employed as an assistant manager for a Pet Care Service until I decided to do it on my own. I also used to help foster, and learned some basic training techniques from the owner of a nonprofit dog rescue called Bonafied. I’m great at befriending dogs. Even a few I had met that were deemed aggressive, I was able to rub their bellies and was greeted with the wiggles after a few visits. I’m very patient with pets, especially scared ones. I work with cats as well, and love them just as much! I provide plenty of picture updates during every visit. I require meet and greets in order to get to know your furbaby beforehand. I feel it necessary to say I am autistic and have adhd. I get burnt out easily and struggle with socializing. That does not affect the care I put into working with pets, just my availability and ability to carry a conversation. I won't work when my mental state isn't doing well. It is best for me to have a set schedule, and for clients to have a backup in case I can't work suddenly. I cherish the memories I make with everyone’s pets I’m lucky to have met. I enjoy playing & cuddling with dogs & cats, they are the best friens & family. If I am at your house - your rules, if we are at my house - also your rules but my little guests are always allowed to be on my sofa or sleep on my bed.
