Her space is perfect—huge backyard for him to run around, and she sent daily photo and video updates that put me at ease. She was super transparent about her work schedule but also very flexible—she came home as needed to let him out and was home most of the time. Her child also helped care for Koda, which was a bonus since he loves kids! What really gave me peace of mind was seeing the look in Koda’s eyes and his happy tail. If you bring your own shampoo the bath will be at no cost to you. If you dont have any it will just be a small fee for me to use some that I have. I am able to give medications if need be. I can also follow special diet routines if necessary as long as you bring the supplies that are needed. I am a stay at home mom for our 3 kids so when your fur baby is in my care they will hardly ever have to be kenneled. Potty breaks can be as often as needed based on what they are used to at their actual home. Daily walks can be taken(depending on the weather). I also offer daily walks to keep your pup active and happy. I normally follow a two-meal schedule with my own dogs, but I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine. Two of our seniors have recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we miss them dearly. In addition to clients through Rover, I have done dog-sitting for friends and neighbors with great success. I do work full time as a teacher but can am home in summers, and my husband works from home most days. For boarding, we have a dog door and a fenced in yard, so your pet can roam freely if you choose. We would just need to make sure our dogs all get along! I adore dogs and will shower yours with attention. Dogs in my care get very spoiled with lots of love! I’m a teacher, so I have more time in the summer but do have evening and weekend availability during the school year. If you choose to board, your pet will have 24/7 access to the yard through our dog door! My husband works from home most days with the exception of Wednesdays, so there is almost always someone home with your pet unless we are gone for activities with our kids. I have a fenced in yard, a dog door, and a friendly dog. If your dog is used to having free reign of the house when you’re gone, that will be the case at our house as well, and they will have access to the yard through the dog door. The door does have the ability to lock if escaping the yard is a concern. If your dog doesn’t learn the dog door, we will ensure they are able to get outside plenty. We will also respect any requests to crate during the day or at night.

“Mara helped us on very short notice and took amazing care of our German Shepherd, Sarge. When we picked him up, he was happy, comfortable, and even a little plump from being so well cared for! He had just started shedding when we dropped him off, and we felt bad about that, but I’m pretty sure she even brushed him out for us.
