“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! About: Senior care experience! I've adopted multiple dogs at 10+ yrs old from the local pounds and made sure they had the best senior care experience possible. I currently have 2 dogs, both spayed and absolutely love other dogs. A Corgi (Ruby) who is 9 and a Maltipoo (Joplin) who will be 2 this year. The poo was adopted from a kill shelter in TX (and one before her from the same area as well). We've lost 4 dogs in 2 yrs due to old age, 3 within 6 months. Hard pill to swallow but I love them all and would LOVE to love yours too! I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies! Believe me when I say they will come home all tuckered out :) I have a fenced in back yard and 2 VERY friendly dogs to keep your pups very much entertained! In your home (if a dog sitter in home is required) you can expect all of their daily schedules to be fulfilled.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life, I work closely with my childhood friend who owns a dog training business herself! Together we grew up with the love for taking care of these natural sweet hearts! I consider myself lucky to be able to read a dog’s emotions to ensure everyone’s comfortable including your pet! Now I know not all dogs are the same, some need more care then others, but all need the same love and consideration! I’m currently a single mom with more then enough time on my hands to care for these animals. I don’t leave much unless it’s groceries or park outings with my dogs and kid! I love going for walks so your doggie gets to join too unless not permitted, I have a big fenced in yard aswell to meet your animals needs for exercise and potty breaks!! I take very good care of my animals insuring they get the exercise and entertainment they need aswell as making sure they get enough water and breathers! If I were to care for yours in your home I can assure you that the only focus will be meeting your dogs needs before leaving! There will be exercise aswell as potty breaks!!

About: I do love pets! I have owned dogs, cats, horses, and a koi pond, aquariums, birds, even lizards and a pet squirrel! My farm background has included cattle and hogs too. My current fur babies are two cats. I do miss having dogs. I've had dogs for 40 years until recently. Now I just love on other peoples dogs! I am also an accomplished gardener and can help with your plant/ garden care while away. I have been to dog obedience, classes, and can help reinforce your pets training. I don't see a place to mark it on this website but I am fine with taking care of your pet bird, pond, aquariums, including exotic fish, horses, cattle and pet pigs. Let me know your preferences on keeping you updated on your pets while away. If I'm feeding your pet, I prefer a meet and greet so you are comfortable and insist on written or texted instructions on your pet's schedule in advance so it's less stressful for your pets. If they are going outside I will want to check out their fenced yard in daylight and go over any concerns for the 5 star sitter experience I offer. Right now I'm offering to walk your pet, in home visits, but I'm not offering to spend the night, or have them here at my house. I work short days 2 days a week in medical care in Sterling, and can help you before, after or lunch breaks. The other 5 days my schedule is open to travel further and to other towns I walk 3-5 miles everyday and enjoy being outside. I'm dialing down my professional work in medicine from full time to parttime to enjoy life a bit more. That is why I am new here at Rover. I can now do more things, and that includes loving more fur babies. I have a rescue cat named Tessa, she's 15 and the most snuggly cat on the planet. We sleep together. She is tiny, but the vets says she's in excellent health with fabulous teeth and labs. My huge cat Rupert is 7 and he was born on a farm, and is hard to photograph here as he covers my whole lap and then some. He has a loud purr and loves to sit a certain way on my lap. My pond is currently healthy and some of the fish are 6 inches long. I had a 3 pound koi who I trained to swim through a hoop. I loved her. Is it possible to love a fish? I did. We have a few horses renting the pasture this year. We used to own and raise gaited horses. I love horses. I think they are good at reading people, and elegant.

“Genna and her family are wonderful! We were traveling from out of state, and had the opportunity to meet up with some old friends for dinner. We contacted Genna and she opened her home to our senior golden doodle. I was impressed that before saying yes, Genna asked some questions to make sure her home was a good fit. She sent pictures that reassured us that he was doing fine. She has a nice house and a larged fenced yard to insure the safety of your pet. About: I have 3 pets of my own and no children. This gives me flexibility and freedom to accommodate customer needs. I have 2 senior pets and 1 that’s a bit of a wild child. I have raised the 2 older ones their whole life. I workout everyday and being able to incorporate others in that is great. I enjoy the outdoors and staying healthy. I’m big on structure and routine. I love and care for my pets beyond anything. The pets in my house are spoiled and have all natural treats and dentals daily. About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. Personally I’ll probably be outside with them :)

About: Hello! My name is Katelyn Lamb (in photo is my husband Chris, and our dogs Odin and Henderson), I have taken care of animals since the age of 5. I was in 4H and have multiple years of experience with various animals but currently work the most with dogs who I have 10 years experience pet sitting with. I've also worked for multiple animal shelters and volunteer currently at shelters in my free time! Our home has a great back yard to play in and we allow dogs to any part of our house, which also means they are constantly being looked after. Any food, treat, sleep, play time, or medication routine will be followed per owner instructions. I typically only accept one pup at a time to ensure that your fur baby is getting all the spoils they deserve! But if you have a sibling group please let me know and I can possibly accommodate that. About: I grew up on a farm. I was part of FFA (future farmers of America) and 4H growing up. I’ve cared for animals and their well being all my life. I currently work on a two week rotation. Meaning I’ll be in town for two weeks at a time, and out of town for two weeks. I’ll have weekdays from 8am to 5pm and weekends after 4pm. I have majority of the day to relax and exercise your puppies. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for your pups to enjoy outside or if they are lazy butts; got a couch for them to relax on. About: I've had many cats through the years. Currently have 5 of my own including 2 sphynx. I have sadly lost a few cats over the years and I've had to take care of my sick babies so I'm not afraid to take care of sick pets or give medicine as needed. Currently I have to give one of my own cats medicine every other day for his asthma. I'm just a animal lover. Most animals like me. I've also had a couple of dogs over the years but don't currently have any but I love them. I love walking them and playing with them. “This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! We highly recommend Shannon and won't hesitate to use her again. (6+ 🌟)”
“Not going to lie, we were nervous leaving our pup with a stranger, but we felt at ease right away. Mark has such a calm demeanor and knows what he is doing. There is another pup he cares for and they play well together, which is great for socializing. If I check in, he responds very quickly and sends us a picture or two. He knows about nervous parents.☺️”

About: i’ve taken care of dogs since i was about 12. i’m taking care of my friend’s dog for when she goes to college and i have volunteered many times. i have two dogs, a fish, a hamster, a rabbit and a bearded dragon of my own🥰 i have a full time job but i’m still pretty flexible with my days. i update my calendar very often just text me about your availability and i’ll try my best to accommodate. i am available to give attention to your animal at all times. i am able to walk them and feed them at the required time you do.

About: I've been around dogs since I can remember. All but one of my jobs have been involved around dogs. I am a Daycare attendant at the bark bark club Currently right now. I do have a normal 9 to 5 job during the week. But I am off on Wednesdays and Fridays. But I do work on Saturdays and Sundays for like 4 to 6 hours. I am very flexible with taking care of your pet in between shifts to the like. I don't mind going back to your house and I haver never had this be problem I will Crate your dogs if you want or I can leave them outside of their crate it all just depends on what you want
