About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. I work part time as a wedding photographer so Im usually very flexible with my schedule especially during the week. I also enjoy walking so Im also available for that. I will only walk outside with your pet if they have a leash or a fenced protected area. I won't them alone anytime. I will provide patience and love to them as if they were my own.

I used to frequent the Dominican Republic to feed & give flea baths to the neglected street dogs out there. I’m currently working from home & was a bartender for the last 20 yrs but now looking for a new career with animals because they are my true passion. I just moved to the Gardner, Illinois for a bigger yard & a 6ft privacy fence to expand my dog sitting business. I also have a small pool for the dogs. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since childhood. First it was cats, then dogs, and I’m now a proud owner of a Quaker parrot. I’m willing to walk or pet sit dogs, help pet sit cats at their own home, and the same with exotic birds. Someone is always home with the pet and we also help you dog get socialized with our parrot. When I had dogs, I let them sleep on the bed with us. I also let them sit on the furniture, too. And I do spoil them, also. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals as long as I can remember! My parents adopted our first dog when I was only 4 years old. Tala was a Siberian husky that I took care of daily from a very young age. Throughout my childhood I grew up with medium/larger dogs such as German shepherds, huskies, pitbulls, and a Great Dane. My love for animals didn’t stop there! As a kid I regularly helped a family friend on her farm take care of wild and farm animals that she rehabbed such as bunnies, raccoons, squirrels, chickens, horses, cows, goats, etc. Now that I live on my own with my husband, we own 2 silly orange cats (4yo) and 2 dogs. Our 2 beagles, Starla(6yo) and Ellie (4yo), are ‘retired research hero’s’, meaning they were lab test animals for human medical research, they even have tattoos inside their right ears! They do great meeting new animals. But due to their life in the lab and awkward lack of learning other dogs body natural language, they require a meet and greet with any pets that plan on staying in our home just to ensure all animals clearly feel comfortable with each other. They are beyond friendly dogs that don’t know what a ‘stranger’ is and will accept love from anyone. Starla has seizures, and because of this I have plenty of experience with handling her during an episode. I would more than willing to board/take care of another pet who suffers from medical conditions! I personally know how nerve racking it is to leave our little fur babies life in the hands of another person that we hardly know. Ellie has a poultry allergy and we’ve become pretty good at checking the labels before feeding anything to her. It was quite surprising to see just how many pet items have poultry in them! I also suffer from a nut allergy, so I also know beyond animals just how dangerous it can be. You can feel more than safe trusting me with your fur babies allergies! I take all forms of special conditions very seriously. I’m currently a college student at ONU, but live in my own home that I own off campus. I do not work at this time and have very few classes that are physically on campus. I love meeting new people and animals especially. I have a fenced in yard where my beagles love to run around. While it is safely fence in, my animals are never left unattended as my animals safety is always a priority. During nice weather I love to take my dogs on walks out at Perry Farms or the Kankakee State Park. These are the places I choose for the safest and cleanest walking paths to keep my pups safe. Before walks I always check the pavement to ensure safe temperature for the little paws. I also spray my pups with Wondercides natural flea & tick repellent to further ensure safety for their health when going on walks. My house is only 1 level. The only stairs your pet would be required to climb are the ones going in and out of the house. While I do have a basement, only the cats are allowed down there. I am still new to the pet sitting world, but I am so excited!

And a dog mom since I've been in diapers 🥰 I am a full-time dog groomer with two dogs. I noticed how much it benefited them to have long walks even with a fenced in backyard. About: I make sure to do all the activities that your pup likes to do to keep them occupied. I feel leaving them. Home is better for their mental state than dropping them off somewhere where they don’t know where they are. Lots of loving and all of my attention goes to the babies while I’m there. I currently do not work and my schedule can be made mostly around the needs of the employer. My son is at school 8-3 but he would be willing to help with animals also. We have a fenced in yard but also go for walks. I have no problem with walking multiple times a day or whatever other needs the pet has.

About: I have taken care of dogs as a drop in and while the family was on vacation. I also enjoy walking dogs. Also, have taken care and trained puppies and have catered to senior dogs. My dog owners are very pleased with my skills and patience with their dogs. They appreciate my care and kindness I show to their babies. I am semi-retired, I work at the Coal City schools as a recess monitor during the school year. I am very flexible with my time around recess hours. I don’t mind late night walks/drop ins (before 10pm) or early morning walks/drop ins. I am respectful of your home when coming to get your dog. I am respectful of your home and your yard. I do not use or go into other parts of your home not previously given permission to access. I am in constant communication when it comes to the welfare of your fur baby.

I have never had the blessing of owning my own fur baby but I am an “aunt” or “Nanny Liz” to many loving pups! I have a flexible schedule and I am willing to travel between Normal and Chicago burbs. Housesitting: I work from home (or your home) M-F about 8am-4:30pm. I am free before or after for bathroom breaks, walks, meals, cuddles, and all pet care. I can also provide care during lunch hours, around noon most days. Walking hours: M-F 5pm-9pm & Sat/Sun 9am-9pm. I love to travel & stay with friends and family so my location is flexible and fluctuates from Normal to Chicago. Regular walks outside these hours will be included housesitting. Potty breaks can be at any time! Perfect for a vacation or weekend away. You’re dog or cats safety is my number one priority! I will treat them and your home as if they were my own. Both your pets and home will be well cared for and cleanly.
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats, all of my life. I was a police officer and Sheriff for 32 years. I’ve dealt with most all animals. I love them all!! I’m currently a retired sheriff. I work part time for American Airlines about 20 hours per week in Bloomington, and working on a license to sell real estate as a part-time job in Livingston County. And I have been a police officer, since I was 18 years old. I am very trustworthy and honest. I’ve grown up around many types of animals and feel comfortable around them.
About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. My house is set up for pets with limited carpet, doggie steps to lay on a comfy couch, windows to watch squirrels and keep an eye on the mailman. I am also available to love your pets in your home.
