For me this means providing a safe and secure environment for their needs, an insane amount of cuddles, daily exercise, and abiding to the rules given by their owners. I have had dogs all my life, and currently I have 2 wonderful dogs: Diggie- a 2yr old 75lb male Lab/Pittie mix who is neutered. Fozzie- a 1yr 30lb male mix who is neutered. I have 2 kids aged 3yrs and 11yrs who have both been taught how to act properly around dogs. I have a big fenced in yard that my dogs love to run around in and lots of toys. If I sound like the right fit for your pup to go to while you are away, I am so happy to meet them! I currently work 2 days a week fully from home- so I have a lot of free time. I usually work Friday and Saturday nights. I can do drop in visits and dog walks Fridays and Saturdays before 2pm, but any other day is fully open. Being that I work from home, I can still board on Fridays and Saturdays. I do prefer if your fur baby is potty trained, but that being said- happy, excited, and nervous accidents happen and that is absolutely okay! :) I have a newly fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs are very high energy and have loved playing with previous foster dogs. Just to be on the safe side, I will put your dog in a separate room/section to eat. When it comes to animals, they are family and I completely understand that a stranger watching them can be scary- I am more than happy to do a meet and greet with you and your fur baby/babies as well as send updates however often you would like during their stay.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I have own 4 dog over the years. I had them from pups to senior. Most of the time they are in the back yard but they were given love and plenty of attention. With the lose of my last dog I have decided not to own any more but take care of a ferret instead. They are just as much of a hand full as a dog is but smaller then a dog. About: I've owned animals all my life. As a kid in school I had two Mastiff puppies who were with me until they were 6. As they had health issues that came on later in their life! My mom has 4 yorkies who I have lived with and taken care of one of them was just put down. I currently have a 2.5 year old German shepherd, 1.5 year old Rottweiler mix and a 7 month old German shepherd. Who love to have friends. They love all animals! I take my puppy to the community dog park everyday for at least an hour. In addition my apartment is right across from Lake Michigan and a walking trail that my dog and I frequent in the evenings. About: I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, and I learned how to attentively take instructions when it came to the care of an animal. I have dealt with dogs and cats that have digestive issues, as well as knowing my way around taking care of (oral) medication. I am also used to dogs or cats that need daily exercise or some that are very energetic and need a lot of attention. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could walk. Pets have always been an addition in my family. I have also pet sat for friends and family when they have needed. To me, pets are family and I have always taken care of them like that. When I'm trusted to take care of someones pet, I treat them like their baby. We have 3.5 acres of farm and woodland. 1 acres is wooded and we have a trail and creek to play in. If things get too messy, we can always rinse off in the hose. I have a lead out back, but if your dog doesn't need it great! If your dog requires a little more, I have a fenced in area behind the barn that we can venture to as well. I live on a private drive, so not a lot of traffic and its nice and peaceful. I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. I live 20 minutes away and usually come home on my lunch break at 12 to let my dogs out and to let them run and play. I wake up early to take care of my chickens and ducks and let my dogs run around for about 30 minutes outside. With other dogs, we might wake up a little earlier and go on a trail or just walk up and down the road(.5miles) maybe more if needed. We then come inside and eat and drink and they are usually ready to go back to bed by the time I leave for work. On my days off we are outside constantly. If your dog is an introvert or loves ac, we do also let our dogs on the furniture for extra lounging. 🤣 At night we do a bit more outside since we make our rounds to make sure the birds are safe and fed and maybe another walk in the woods. Before bed, we do tick checks just in case! I care for all pets like my own and all pets have the same freedoms as my fur babies(unless specified so your doggo doesn't come home with any habits you don't want them to have). I have blankets on my couches and dog beds all over the house.

I currently work a part-time job so I have plenty of time throughout the day to take care of your baby’s the only times I’m not available is past 6pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I am very clean and respectful in other peoples homes most the people I’ve pet sat or dog walked for say they wouldn’t have even noticed I was there if there wasn’t things in the trash
About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I am new to the Rover community, but have been caring for animals for neighbors and family for the past 10 years. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, as well as cats! I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to learn and adapt how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them! I am currently working Monday-Thursday and am available for weekday evening walks or weekend drop-ins and house sittings. I am also flexible and can accept last-minute bookings. I'm currently working full-time, with 4 10-hour shifts. This leaves me plenty of time to play with your pups anytime Friday-Sunday and after 6pm Monday-Thursday! About: I have experience administering all kinds of medication to all ages of dogs. I love meeting your older dogs and have experience helping them navigate stairs and the home if necessary. I am patient and if your dog needs extra accommodation I am happy to provide assistance. I am currently a college student on break for the summer so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available for early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. I understand it can be nerve racking trusting someone with your pet, but I am extremely communicative and will keep you updated as frequently as you wish. I have pet sat for multiple families who have always returned to tidy homes and happy pets. About: I have been taking care of all types of animals since I was a child. I am very comfortable with all breeds and energy levels. I also have experience with senior dogs and their special needs. Right now I work from home so that let's me be a stay at home dog mom too, so almost all of my time goes to my fur babies and taking care of other animals In my home...my animals are family. I treat them with so much love some may say they are spoiled....I say they are well taken care of! When we go for walks I always use a leash and harness combo to ensure they can't sneak out of their collars.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. I am currently working full time but I live with multiple people who are willing to help me with boarding. I don’t work all day so I would love to take your pet for walk! About: I've owned animals all my life. As a kid in school I had two Mastiff puppies who were with me until they were 6. As they had health issues that came on later in their life! My mom has 4 yorkies who I have lived with and taken care of one of them was just put down. I currently have a 2.5 year old German shepherd, 1.5 year old Rottweiler mix and a 7 month old German shepherd. Who love to have friends. They love all animals! I'm currently working from home so I am very flexible with times needed. I currently have a home with no fenced yard. But lots of space for dogs to play and run. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. About: Hey! I am a huge advocate for all dogs to be treated with dignity, love, and respect. For me this means providing a safe and secure environment for their needs, an insane amount of cuddles, daily exercise, and abiding to the rules given by their owners. I have had dogs all my life, and currently I have 2 wonderful dogs: Diggie- a 2yr old 75lb male Lab/Pittie mix who is neutered. Fozzie- a 1yr 30lb male mix who is neutered. I have 2 kids aged 3yrs and 11yrs who have both been taught how to act properly around dogs. I have a big fenced in yard that my dogs love to run around in and lots of toys. If I sound like the right fit for your pup to go to while you are away, I am so happy to meet them! I currently work 2 days a week fully from home- so I have a lot of free time. I usually work Friday and Saturday nights. I can do drop in visits and dog walks Fridays and Saturdays before 2pm, but any other day is fully open. Being that I work from home, I can still board on Fridays and Saturdays. I do prefer if your fur baby is potty trained, but that being said- happy, excited, and nervous accidents happen and that is absolutely okay! :) I have a newly fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs are very high energy and have loved playing with previous foster dogs. Just to be on the safe side, I will put your dog in a separate room/section to eat. When it comes to animals, they are family and I completely understand that a stranger watching them can be scary- I am more than happy to do a meet and greet with you and your fur baby/babies as well as send updates however often you would like during their stay.
