About: I've had a variety of different types of pets around me my whole life. I have loved and cared for every one of them. I have trained my own dog and have taken care of many senior dogs until their passing. I'm currently working a part-time job, I have plenty of time during the afternoon and evenings to play and care for your pets. I also have a cat and occasionally help train k9 working dogs in my spare time. I used to live on a farm and am great with all farm animals. I currently work full time, but am available in the mornings, Tuesdays and Thursdays, along with every other weekend off. I understand the need for dog walking and potty breaks being a working dog mom. I have a large yard, but it is not fenced. I will be sure to always have the dog on a leash. With a background in law enforcement adjacent positions and a TS clearance. Clean background. We can administer insulin and give oral medications. We also LOVE elderly animals. We are licensed bonded and insured. And have decades of the world under our feet. Animals are like people to us. We actually prefer them, and function with them better. Living on a five acre hobby farm for over a decade. They are literally our family now that the kids have aged into adults. It’s me and my husband Mike here. My family helps me operate a small pet care business out of Big Rock IL. House Sitting: We treat your home with respect and follow all of your rules. Water plants. Get mail. And stick to pet schedules. Please advise we do this full time. Each sitting is different as each animal and owner ask for different things. If full time care is needed it will be an extended stay rate of 125 for 8am through 8pm hours and 75 for the night. If we can’t come and go. We can’t make money. This is all I do for income and no one can survive off of only 75 or less for the day. Otherwise most sittings look like me making that my center of gravity through any schedule I have for the day. Usually no longer than four to six hours away from the home while out with drops in accrued in a single day. For Boarding: PLEASE READ: This is a home setting; we do not consistently tour our home. I believe the photos on here and reviews do us justice. We send pet parents updates with the surrounding view almost daily to every other day. Having people walk through the house consistently was just too much for out family and the farm animals here. So we do not do this anymore. In the future we may build a kennel/outbuildings addition, and will offer tours of that should the time ever come that we decide to do that. But again, WE DO NOT PROVIDE TOURS OF OUR PERSONAL HOME. There are also other considerations to consider that most residential people do not account for. 1. Liability coverage: my liability coverage covers your animals. Not you. 2. Animal anxiety: it’s a chain. The system I have for doing things allows for animals to be as calm and anxiety free as possible. If you’re on the property. The regulars don’t know you and anxiety fills the entire area. 3. Biosecurity: Don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t know where your shoes have been. 4. Private farm setting: exactly as it states. The lay out past my private acres long drive does not even allow access to my front door without going through two secured gates. It’s not easy access. 5. Safety: I live in the middle of nowhere, and do not need anyone to know the exact lay out of my home. You’re signing up for pet service. I am providing this service. Not giving people access to my home. Thank you for understanding. Please note this is a country setting. Someone is always here if I (Kim) am not. Sometimes photos have issues sending. But they always eventually go through. Service can be patchy because it’s the country. Text updates are reliably daily. I pride myself on building close relationships with my clients. I treat the animals I care for with top priority as my family does this full time and this is our entire income. Our reviews and the animals we care for speak for themselves. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and naturally when I was old enough to start working with them I did. From the age of 10 I volunteered with the animal clinics; walking dogs, cleaning up after them, medicating them, feeding them, bathing them, even sometimes having to help restrain them. I started learning how to work with dogs from a young age and when I was 15 I started working as a kennel assistant/worker at a veterinary hospital where I eventually gained more responsibilities and experience in the veterinary field and became a vet tech through experience. When I am not actively interacting with my dogs I like to give them enrichment toys. If were outside we go out for an hour or so every 2-3 hours. If I know it's a stay in the house kind of day we feed through games. I love taking my girls for "adventures" every chance we get for socialization, even if that means we just go sit at the ball park and sit and watch. I have an unfunded yard, however I have 3 tie outs and a large outdoor dog pen. I have a small house, but I have an attached single car garage that has been converted into an extra room for the dogs. I have 2 friendly dogs that will be able to keep your fur baby company.

About: Currently I’m avaible for dropping in for house visits and dog walking right now. I’ve had pets all my life, from the furry to scaly skin I love all animals! About: I have been around animals my entire life. Taking care of dogs brings so much joy to my day and would love to take care of yours! About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and naturally when I was old enough to start working with them I did. From the age of 10 I volunteered with the animal clinics; walking dogs, cleaning up after them, medicating them, feeding them, bathing them, even sometimes having to help restrain them. I started learning how to work with dogs from a young age and when I was 15 I started working as a kennel assistant/worker at a veterinary hospital where I eventually gained more responsibilities and experience in the veterinary field and became a vet tech through experience. Even though I work a full time job M-W, I work from home. I am also a stay-at-home-mom, so I am almost always home. When I am not actively interacting with my dogs I like to give them enrichment toys. If were outside we go out for an hour or so every 2-3 hours. If I know it's a stay in the house kind of day we feed through games. I love taking my girls for "adventures" every chance we get for socialization, even if that means we just go sit at the ball park and sit and watch. I have an unfunded yard, however I have 3 tie outs and a large outdoor dog pen. I have a small house, but I have an attached single car garage that has been converted into an extra room for the dogs. I have 2 friendly dogs that will be able to keep your fur baby company.

I use StarMark collars on my dogs, these collars guarantee that they won’t and can’t really slip away, these collars are great especially if your dog pulls, my dog used to pull a lot and I was able to get him to do great while walking. I love being able to work with dogs 1 on 1 at first so they can get learn to trust me and feel safe!! Both of my dogs are extremely friendly. About: My boyfriend and I have always had animals in our lives. Growing up he lived on a farm with dogs, cats, goats, pigs etc. and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. About: I've had a variety of different types of pets around me my whole life. I have loved and cared for every one of them. I have trained my own dog and have taken care of many senior dogs until their passing.
