About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.

My ancient kitty Larry doesn't do well staying by himself anymore. Estefanny not only assured that he had regular meals, water, and meds, but she also stayed with him at night so he wasn't lonely. Larry clearly loved her. She sent an update and photos every day, many of which showed him on her lap or in the spare bed, so he was obviously comfortable sleeping with her. To be honest, I expected her to be great with Larry. What I didn't expect was, after 5 nights sleeping at my house, I couldn't even tell she had been there. The place was exactly as I had left it - I swear she packed out her own garbage! Estefanny clearly cares for pets and is pleasant, reliable, and responsive. About: I dog sit occasionally so I’m comfortable with new dogs! I love being outside so that means more outside time for your furry friends :) I am currently working two part time jobs so I could schedule anytime between those two. Mon-Tuesday after noon, Wed-Sunday mornings, afternoons, nights only Wednesdays. This is my current schedule and it can change but I am flexible! :) I currently have one dog of my own and we have a fenced yard. He’s crate trained and potty trained. I can also crate your dog if needed and if they’re trained. My dog is friendly and calm with other dogs. We go on daily walks and he gets his playtime with us!

About: I've been a dog owner for 20 years. Over the last 10 years, friends, family and neighbors have entrusted me with taking care of their dogs. 2 years ago, I took on the venture of fostering dogs in my home. My experience with them has been with puppies through adult dogs. Special needs dogs are welcome too, as I have experience with dogs with seizure disorder and other chronic issues. During the time the foster dogs are in my care, I work to establish a routine, learn basic commands and household manners. I work from home Monday-Friday. My pets (and fosters) stay in my office with me when I working. I am able to care for your pets during my breaks, lunchtime and after hours. My weekends can be a bit more busy, but I can be flexible in working with your needs. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs to stretch their legs, enjoy the outdoors, and of course relieve themselves. Indoors, I do have crates available if your dogs needs some alone, quiet time. If you choose me your fur babies will be in good hands! <3 I'm flexible as I work from home. Right now over the summer I'm only accepting smaller dogs, two a day -only- (I have a few dogs myself). As long as your dogs get along with others and like children we should be good 👌 I prefer to do drop ins and right now I'm not able to stay over night in anyone's home so I apologize in advance. I have a smaller fenced area and a huge yard. I also have dogs of my own so lots of friends to be made! My dogs are the friendliest dogs and have plenty of experience with other animals. :)

About: I’ve been working with dogs for years starting with Petsmart in the salon. I also worked at an animal hospital starting in the kennel department and eventually moved up to treatment area and worked up there as a tech assistant. I do have experience giving meds and caring for dogs of all ages I just moved in with my fiancé and would love to do this as my job! I have pretty open availability and can adjust hours as needed I would play with them and keep them company throughout the day, make sure they’re being fed and getting the proper exercise they need. About: I dog sit occasionally so I’m comfortable with new dogs! I love being outside so that means more outside time for your furry friends :) I am currently working two part time jobs so I could schedule anytime between those two. Mon-Tuesday after noon, Wed-Sunday mornings, afternoons, nights only Wednesdays. This is my current schedule and it can change but I am flexible! :) I currently have one dog of my own and we have a fenced yard. He’s crate trained and potty trained. I can also crate your dog if needed and if they’re trained. My dog is friendly and calm with other dogs. We go on daily walks and he gets his playtime with us!

About: I have been an avid animal lover since birth!! I have a wide range of experience with animal care-taking. I have babysat a farm, volunteered at shelters, and have had my own pets. I have had large German Shepherds who I have practiced training. I have managed troublesome groups and have had to del with ensuring dogs are separate for behavioral reasons. Whatever your needs, I promise I may have already done! I am able to drop-in early mornings, but will do most walking/care after 12pm some weekdays due to school. I volunteer at the Prairie land conservancy, so some random times I may be busy, but I promise for good reason!! I am available most weekends. Your pet’s safety is really important to me. I make sure they’re always supervised and comfortable. I follow instructions closely, including feeding times, walks, crate routines, and any medications.

About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.

I set up a comfortable, low-traffic area with an orthopedic pet bed or if your pet needs to be kenneled or crated at night that can be offered as well. I ensure to use toys and chews that are appropriate for the pet's size and species. I do not have a fenced in yard but I will make sure your pet is using their collar/harness and leash when outside at all times.
