About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.

About: I have been a pet owner my entire life. I have taken my own dogs through obedience training and have raised them from puppy to adults. I love taking walks around the neighborhood and playing with them in the yard. I would love to love your dog as if it was my own! I typically go for morning and/or evenings walks most days of the week. I work approximately 5-6 hours outside the home but I am able to set my own schedule to accommodate any necessary bathroom breaks. I have a fenced in yard and two kids(10 and older) who also love playing and snuggling with dogs. I have quiet spaces in the house if your pet needs some quiet time to relax, otherwise they are welcome to roam the house with the humans.

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.
About: I have grown up with cats all my life, fed strays and befriended almost every cat that was said to 'not like people'. I have experience with special needs cats; blind, deaf, tripod, epileptic (my 5 year old boy, Pinball in my pfp), and a few others. With that cones experience with physical therapy, medications (except injections. I have been lucky to avoid having to learn injections), diet restrictions, movement restrictions etc. Between my own household as well as friends and family I have loved and cared for hundreds of cats in my life and would love your kitty to be one of them! ♡

As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. About: I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, rats, fish, hermit crabs, tarantulas and many other types of pets of my own (cats and dogs my whole life) as well as cared for friends and family's pets since I was a little kid. I also volunteered at many local animal shelters in my late teens. I also have experience with different types of special needs animals; mostly cats in that aspect. (Paralyzed, deaf, blind, epileptic, diabetic and tri-pod) My daily and weekly schedule changes with my regular work schedule and my kids school schedule, but I am typically available during day time hours on weekdays, most likely at least one available night time drop-in available and can make myself available on Saturdays, if need be. Your pet will be more comfortable in an familiar environment such as their own home, so I would prefer to see them in their own home. I ask you leave a note somewhere prominent (i.e. kitchen table or counter) with quick point reminders of food/water bowl locations, food locations, treats, and any special reminders such as medications w/ times. I will take time to get to know your pet, play with them if they like or pets, loves snuggles... It's really all about what your pet wants/needs from me! I will also have my 17 year old daughter and/or my 12 year old daughter along to help care for your pet(s), if that's OK with you. Between the three of us we can run your whole zoo if you'd like!! We can do walkies for pets that need a little extra excersize. Shopping trips to pet-friendly local areas/shops/parks if wanted/permissible!

I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. Being around cats doesn’t worry me. Just as long as I pay attention to signs on what to and not to do. I’m currently trying to raise money for a trip to go meet some family I’ve never met. I currently have two Border Collie X Australian Shepherd mixes that are incredibly friendly and smart. I started my pet professional career out in 2012 as a kennel technician at the Clinton Humane Society. I have worked for two different vet clinics as a vet technician giving medications, doing ivs, doing wound care, and being apart of surgery staff. I do some special handling dog training for anxious and semi aggressive dogs. My passion for special handling dogs started when I trained as a pet stylist. I got hands on experience helping stressed dogs relax and make situations better for them. I currently work in the Quad Cities as a pet stylist, working with both dogs and cats. I am very familiar and comfortable working with all kinds of animals be it furry, scaley or feathery. I do animal care for individual animals and also for hobby farms with chickens, ducks, goats, llamas and sheep. I am a very particular person when it comes to my own animals' care. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable. Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.
About: I know how important my fur babies are to me, and how important quality pet care is. I will take care of your pets the way I would want mine taken care of. I’ve had pets my whole life, and currently have an Aussie named Ruthie and a cat named Jinx! I trained Ruthie myself and have taken care of dogs with special needs before. I am currently a full time student and therefore have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies! I’m available most holidays as well. I love spending time with your pets, making them feel loved, playing with them, and giving them the stimulation they need to be happy. I leave all clients’ homes exactly the way they left it. In addition to taking care of your pets, I also water plants and bring in mail or packages if necessary.

I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!

About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.

About: I have been a pet owner my entire life. I have taken my own dogs through obedience training and have raised them from puppy to adults. I love taking walks around the neighborhood and playing with them in the yard. I would love to love your dog as if it was my own! I typically go for morning and/or evenings walks most days of the week. I work approximately 5-6 hours outside the home but I am able to set my own schedule to accommodate any necessary bathroom breaks. I have a fenced in yard and two kids(10 and older) who also love playing and snuggling with dogs. I have quiet spaces in the house if your pet needs some quiet time to relax, otherwise they are welcome to roam the house with the humans.
