About: I have been a dog groomer since February of 2021 when i completed my training through Animal Behavior College. I am certified in dog CPR, first aid and skincare. My husband and I love having dog playdates with our two yellow labs. Your pup will receive plenty of playtime, enrichment, love and rest. Our dogs are our pride and joy. We have a large fenced in yard where your pup will have plenty of playtime with us and our labs. We allow our dogs on our couh but they mostly love laying in our sunporch.

From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. I am a hair stylist I got my dog grooming classification also l. Want a quick bath or blow out need a trim absolutely!!! I can do anything you need from a simple blow out to a full cut and groom. I love walking and playing with animals or just cuddling and being that companion they need when parents are away! I have felt with animals with sensitive skin and diets I can also handle medication and dogs who just don’t like meeting new people. I know how important it is to trust a new person with your fur baby and I want to help ease the anxiety while you trust me with you pets. I was recently working for a groomer and she came Ill so I decided to offer my services a little closer to home. I am inspired but the difference needs and desires of a pet and I love a challenge of gaining there patients and trust I have a smaller fenced in area in my yard for animals who just like to be outside I also have several different types of leashes if dogs want to walk and just get the energy out. About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
