About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. I live in a single family home with an unfenced yard, but any bathroom breaks would be under my full watch and care. I have one sweet but shy cat, but she has her own room if your pet is not okay with other animals.

Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

I’m a big walker and love a good game of fetch, tug of war, frisbee, or just running around with everyone! I have a reliable car so I’m offering at home sitting where I’ll take your pet out every hour if needed and play/take them on walks. I’m also available to just stop by to walk/play with your pet for any desired amount of time. I am completely open and offering doggy day camp where we will play, go for walks, and socialize with other pets and people. My biggest hit is overnight care so if you go on vacation, need a couple nights/days to yourself, emergencies... I’m available to keep your fur baby over night and for long periods of time no matter the circumstance. I do not require your pet be crate trained if I’m sitting at my house or during doggy day camp but if they stay over night I require they be crate trained or atleast potty trained. I’m completely open to sitting/caring for cats or other pets you may have except for reptiles. While your pets are with me I will be working on training them and perfecting manners with consistent treats and praising for good behavior. I’m very patient and love working with animals! Late mornings and Afternoons are the times i am most flexible with my schedule. So it that time frame works for you, it works for me! I have a flexible schedule and usually do not have many obligations during the week. I prefer that daily walks are scheduled no later than 5-6 pm but Drop ins are more flexible. I make sure to be a guest my clients home and make sure nothing gets damage. If a mess is made I will do my best to clean up, So if need be please share with me where the cleaning supplies are ahead of time so I know where they are in case something does need to be attended to.
About: I grew up with dogs and have house sat my brother's dog on numerous occasions throughout the time I've been in the Champaign area. I have also house sat cats for a friend back in Indiana. I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. I love to play with them, talk to them, and love on them as if they're my own if people let me! As of right now, I have plenty of time to play with your pets! About: My whole life I have always preferred animals over humans so as an adult my goal has been to turn it into my profession. About: I am a proud mother of a 9yr old son and an 15 yr old daughter.. My daughter is usually at school for most of the day. However, caring for both full time I have come to notice animals stimulate both kids and teach them respect, responsibility and routine. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
