Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. About: I am a 4th grade teacher with summers off. I have a passion for walking and dogs. So this is perfect for me! I walk my 90 lb chocolate lab (quite energetic and happy) miles everyday around the neighborhood and hiking trails. He is a pretty reactive dog (all love) so I am skilled in knowing what a dog needs and how they are reacting to the external variables on a walk, and how to react to that. I would love to meet you and your animal best friend! I have the summer off, so I am available this summer. Once school gets back in session, weekend care would also be something I am interested in. I am mainly available for dog walking and/or taking care of your animal in your home. I have helped raise 3 puppies (now big dogs) throughout the past 8 years. I am very well aware of what the animal may need and how to react to that.
About: I have worked with lots of animals including: dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens. I also have experience of giving oral medications and subcutaneous injections. I'm available all day during the weeks, and after 3pm on the weekends to watch and care for your pet. I currently work part time during the day on the weekends. I can care for your animals in their home environment so they feel safe and comfortable and stress free, and recieve lots of love and care that they need!

When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could drive. I love being able to watch dogs and play with them. I also love to watch any animals since they all make me happy. I’m currently going to school but only on Monday’s and Wednesday’s so I will have plenty of time to play with dogs. I can’t wait to be able to get to walk, watch, or play with them! I have a fenced yard, and a dog who is friendly with other dogs. I’m used to taking care of a dog since I already have one at home.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
