About: I know that cats are independent but still require consistent, attentive care, patience, and a calm presence. I am comfortable with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, fresh water changes, playtime, enrichment, and most importantly, respecting each cat’s individual comfort level—whether they are social and playful or prefer space and quiet companionship. In addition to general experience, I have many friends who own cats, and I’ve cared for their pets while they’ve been out of town for a week or longer. However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home. “Maren has been a godsend to us. We brought Luna home at 8 weeks and I was super nervous about finding someone to look after her while my partner and I are at work. We were in a tricky position because she's not crate trained yet, so she needs all-day care, but doggy day care's won't accept her because she doesn't have all her shots. When I asked Maren to look after our little rascal 2x a week for 2 months, she was incredibly accommodating. It's been 2 weeks now since Luna has started "camp Maren" and it's been great. Maren communicates well and sends multiple updates throughout the day. Luna loves Maren so much that she does a little happy dance (which involves jumping, wiggling, and lots of kissing) every time they meet and I can tell she's not quite ready to leave when we come pick her up. About: I absolutely adore all animals, dogs in particular! I've been taking care of dogs of my family and friends for a good 6 years now and I find it very rewarding and just enjoy it overall. Hanging out and taking care of dogs is already a plus, but to get paid is definitely a major bonus. I welcome most if not all dog types and will make sure they fit right in at home and be as comfortable as they can. My home has plenty of room to spare for your fur children. Not only that, I also have a 6 ft fully fenced yard. There is a dog park 3 blocks from my home, and I am in close proximity to several Forest Preserves. If baths are requested, bath lovers can enjoy baths in a jacuzzi tub, and bath tolerators will be bathed in a walk in shower with a double rainfall showerhead, and a handheld shower head for the hard to reach spots. I can offer pickup and dropoff for those without a car or time to spare, and dogs will be transported in a seatbelt for safety.

I was a mess and she talked me through all the changes and what she thought was best for my animals. She was very professional when she met them and when we walked them. She came at all of her scheduled visits and spent time with them even sending me photos to keep me calm. Most importantly, the last photo she sent me of my little, old lady, I could tell that Leela was sad to see her new friend go.
