“Maren has been a godsend to us. We brought Luna home at 8 weeks and I was super nervous about finding someone to look after her while my partner and I are at work. We were in a tricky position because she's not crate trained yet, so she needs all-day care, but doggy day care's won't accept her because she doesn't have all her shots. When I asked Maren to look after our little rascal 2x a week for 2 months, she was incredibly accommodating. It's been 2 weeks now since Luna has started "camp Maren" and it's been great. Maren communicates well and sends multiple updates throughout the day. Luna loves Maren so much that she does a little happy dance (which involves jumping, wiggling, and lots of kissing) every time they meet and I can tell she's not quite ready to leave when we come pick her up. About: I’ve Taken care of and trained over dozens of animals in over 6 years. I was an assistant pet trainer/groomer at a dog kennel. And volunteer for several animal shelters. I love taking care of animals of all kind, but specifically cats and dogs! I’m currently working part time remotely, so I’ll have a lot of time to make sure you pet is loved and cared for! I have a cat of my own and I always make sure she’s happy and healthy! I like to take walks 2-3 times a day so I don’t mind making sure your fur baby has had plenty of potty breaks. I live in a gated community with a fence separating me from my neighbors. I also have a huge backyard and plenty of space to keep your animals active and happy. I also love taking walks and having outside time. They deserve to have fun and enjoy their day too!
About: I have taken care of many different personalities of cats and small dogs since I was growing up. I appreciate their character and would love to meet your family pet. I work from home, also flex, so I would be able to pop in during the morning, lunch and afternoon if need be. I am flexible to the needs of your family and believe in clear communication. About: I have taken care of mainly large dog breeds and currently have a Newfoundland. I have been through training courses with her as well. My brothers have always had large dogs and I sit for them often. I want this to be an affordable and helpful service for people that really need the help. I only work 3 nights a week as a registered nurse so I have a lot of availability! I would love to help on my off days whenever I can. I will take your dog for walks and give them good exercise. I can follow and keep their same routine to make sure they feel comfortable. Most importantly you are paying for one on one time and that’s exactly what I will give!
About: I grew up in a multi pet home and learned to walk, train and groom pets from a young age. I cared for the last family dog through her medically tedious senior years. Through college I pet sat and walked for friends and family. For 2 years I worked for a veterinary clinic, although my job was marketing I often was asked to assist with holding and monitoring patients. When I became a pet owner I adopted puppies raising them through potty and crate training. I am proud to say they continue to be healthy and happy. Now we foster and pet sit dogs of all ages and sizes because of the dog friendly environment we’ve created at home. My success in pet lies with gaining the pets trust. I approach them slowly and go at their pace, sitting and waiting on the ground if necessary. I am pet sitting and walking full time so I have plenty of time to dedicate to my clients! Dogs are typically walked and out between 7am and 9pm. I have a fully fenced yard with ample room for running and playing. There are four resident dogs who are friendly and used to guests. We can crate your pup or have them sleep in a bed or in bed with me. Water is available at all times through a 2 gallon water dispenser.
About: I love animals and working for pets would be so amazing as they are very close to my heart. I have done 2 cat sitting jobs and helped take care of a friend dog. I love taking care of cats, including my cat Simba right here. In my spare time I also help volunteer at the Tree House Cat Shelter and rescue some cats to take to my local no kill shelter. I also help support the Ian Somerhalder Foundation where we care for the animals and the environment. Even though I am in college right now my schedule is very flexible.
