About: I’ve grown up around animals and truly love spending time with them. I had a German Shepherd named Sheba and two cats, Pichu and Mitzu, and I’ve also cared for friends’ pets. Through Rover, I’ve walked and cared for pets of a wide range of ages. I’m experienced with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving pets the attention and care they need to feel comfortable and happy. I work remotely and thus have a flexible schedule when it comes to pet care. I am happy to accommodate the needs of my clients. In my client’s home I am happy to abide by any and all rules specified by the client, and ensure that their pet is happy!

“Meg is a lifesaver. My mom is very nervous about leaving her cats alone -- I was so happy to find someone as capable, responsible and reliable as Meg. Meg was wonderful with my mom's elderly cat, who adored her. She's so good with animals that even my mom's cat who's terrified of his own shadow came out for her! Thank you, Meg for everything!”

“Kathryn took excellent care of my 3 cats who are difficult to care for. I can home to happy cats, clean food bowls, clean and full water fountains, and clean litter boxes”

“Danielle was amazing and communicative. She took great care of our 3 cats while we were away. Her daily visits made sure they were fed, had water, and clean litter boxes! She’s the best!”

“Tara is extraordinarily helpful. I needed someone to visit my cat short notice, and she was on her way to my house within a few minutes. Tara loves pets passionately and it shows in everything she does. She is tuned into cats and gives Jim Catsby so much attention in ways that he enjoys—petting, brushing, etc. Awesome! 10 stars!”

“Delaney was absolutely fantastic! It was our first time using Rover since we moved and we were anxious to use a new cat sitter but Delaney really helped to ease the stress. Her communication was wonderful and her attention to detail was also much appreciated. Our area experienced bad weather while we were away and Delaney was very vigilant about updating us on our cats and sending photos. We also appreciate how tidy she left everything upon our return! We are very relieved to have found a very trustworthy and caring sitter!”

“Megan was wonderful dealing with my 3 cats with VERY different personalities. She wven thought to move a food dish under a table where the shy old cat was hiding. It is such a relief to know that there is acaring person to take care of my cats when I travel.”

About: I grew up with a dog and have been dog sitting since I was 9 years old and I currently volunteer at Mt Pleasant Animal Shelter. I also have a pet bunny and take care of my sister’s dog. I am a student and I have a part time job so I am available most early afternoons and evenings. On the weekends I am available in the afternoon and all day Sunday. I have a large yard with plenty of room for exercise and the ability to keep my pets separate from yours. My home is also pet proof.
About: I have always been an animal lover. I trained as a K9 security officer over 10 years ago and it opened up an entirely new world for me to want to learn more. I have worked as a dog walker for a few companies but I am hoping to expand into my own in the near future full time with a daycare facility for the 4 legged family complete with training and grooming services. I currently use the Wag app however there have been a few glitches that have caused me to lose recurring clients who have moved to other services. I do currently work a part time job however as I mentioned earlier. I want to expand into something more on my own terms and finally be happy to come to my work. Eager to work for myself and just have a comfortable living do what I enjoy. I always make sure to read the owners description and observe their behavior. The more of their traits I am able to notice the easier it is for me to determine when something is wrong and when to report it. My priority is the pet however as soon as I walk into an owners home observation can help me determine if anything is off that I should report that maybe the owner themselves had not noticed. I have worked years in security and observation and presentation to allow all parties involved to feel comfortable with each other is key. If something is off report it. And keep in communication with the owner as the moment is taking place.

About: I’ve cared for cats of all temperaments—from shy and skittish to bold and demanding (yes, I’ve met the type that insists the faucet be turned on just right). I know how to read feline body language, respect their space, and earn their trust with patience (and treats, of course). I’m comfortable giving medications (oral or topical), cleaning up messes, and yes—scooping litter like a pro. I treat each cat with the same gentleness and attention I’d want for my own pets. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or just quietly keeping them company, I’m all about making sure your cat feels safe, calm, and cared for while you’re away.
“Mara is simply the best—highly recommended! My husband and I have never trusted anyone outside of family to care for our two senior dogs. One requires medication, and the other is extremely anxious, so finding the right person felt overwhelming. Mara immediately put us at ease. She took the time to meet with me and my dogs before her scheduled visits and was incredibly patient while I learned how to use the app. Not only is she kind and attentive with my pets, but she is also very capable and handled their somewhat complicated care with confidence. She communicated clearly, letting me know when something came up without causing unnecessary worry, and managed every situation thoughtfully—even things I hadn’t anticipated. Mara is responsive, flexible, and truly easy to work with. When I needed to add a service last minute, she responded right away and accommodated my request without hesitation. I can’t say enough good things—she is trustworthy, compassionate, and incredibly reliable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—dogs, cats, and everything in between. What sets me apart is that I truly get pets. I know how to read their body language, meet their emotional needs, and create a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and happy. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from high-energy pups to slow-moving seniors. I’m patient with leash training, gentle with nervous animals, and happy to give medication if needed. If your pet has a routine, I’ll stick to it like clockwork. If they just need company and love, I’m all in. To me, this isn’t just a job—it’s about caring for your pet like they’re family. I’m home full-time, so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and company throughout the day. Whether it’s regular walks, play breaks, or just being nearby for comfort, I’m available and fully present. My flexible schedule makes it easy to accommodate your pet’s routine—early mornings, midday walks, or evening check-ins included. I live right off 93rd & Pleasant in North Beverly, with a huge yard where your dog can safely play, explore, and chase a ball (or two). It’s a secure, peaceful space that’s perfect for outdoor time. I’m also just steps away from the Dan Ryan Forest Preserve—ideal for nature walks full of fresh air, trails, and plenty of exciting things to sniff. Whether your pup needs adventure or a calm environment, I’ve got it covered. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority. I follow all care instructions, never leave pets unattended outside, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: Tail-wagging care you can count on! I have 20 years of pet sitting experience with a wide range of pet personalities and temperaments and 25 years of loving my own fur babies as well. I specialize in pup care (housetraining, play based development, walk adventures), senior pet care (gentle handling, mobility support, medication administration), and special needs and rescue animals (with an understanding of anxiety, therapeutic support, and slow-trust building). I treat every pet like my own—with kindness, reliability, and plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. You can relax knowing your pet is not only safe, but genuinely cared for. :) I'm currently working part time from home so I prioritize caring for your pet with the same attention I gave to my own pets - making sure they’re happy, healthy, and safe while you're away. I have a fenced yard and an animal-friendly home. Currently we have three sweet kittens in the home (Luna, Notte, and Silvio) and, over the last few years, we had a dog Nala and two cats Namu and Malu that passed on after 15-17 years of life. I now have two children (my daughter is 7, and my son is 4) who love animals and are very gentle and caring. If your pet doesn't prefer children, please let me know and I wouldn't bring them with me to care for your pet. :)

“With the busy schedules my husband and I have, we use Melissa weekly for recurring walks. She is great about picking up extra walks when we need, so our fur baby has some consistency with all traveling I do for work. Bruno loves her and I love the peace of mind she gives us! Thanks Melissa for all you do!”

“I booked Tabbie to walk our doggies and she was a lifesaver these past couple of days. Tabbie was very responsive, prompt, courteous and on time. She even asked if I wanted to walk them longer which I appreciated that a lot. A tired dog is a good dog and they were nice and tired. I will definitely be using Tabbie for more dog walks!”

“My Stella and I were extremely happy with Margaret’s dog walking services. My Stella loved her at first sight. A sixty-one pound dog can be hard to handle and Margaret handled Stella with ease. About: I was born and raised with Dobermans by my side, but my expertise does not just span large dogs--but also small dogs, puppies, seniors, cats, and other furry friends. I’ve been a reliable pet sitter, taking care of my friend’s and family’s cats and dogs. I’ve ensured they’re well-fed, entertained, and they have taken care of business 💩. I’ve stayed at homes and made drop-in visits, so I can provide flexible care. I understand that your pets are like family members, so I’ll treat them with the same patience and respect they deserve! I am currently working part time at an office and applying for other jobs. I have a lot of extra time on my hands and I am looking to fill it by spending time with animals and getting my steps in! I am open for last minute bookings!!! I prioritize your pet’s comfort by following your specific care routine. My process begins by gaining your pet's trust through a calm, patient approach, ensuring they feel safe before we dive into anything. I like to keep the line of communication open with the pet parent to ensure transparency throughout the whole process. I maintain a consistent schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and affection to minimize any anxiety they may face without their typical routine away from parents.

“Elizabeth is fantastic! My dog Lela, is always well cared for, walked and played with during each visit. I love how Elizabeth gives daily updates and shows how happy Lela is. I never have to worry about her when she’s with Elizabeth. She has built a great relationship with our dog. She is extremely professional and responsible. I would recommend her services for anyone who is struggling to find a wonderful dog walker!”

I have a goldendoodle myself (5 months old). She gets along very well with other dogs and loves to play around. I do not have a gated fence however I do have open space next to my place where the dogs can run and it is fenced in.

About: I grew up in a home where we treat our dogs as family. I've cared for 4 dogs separately in my life time, 3 of which were via my parents home and one of which on my own in my first apartment in Chicago IL. Dogs almost never miss a beat with approaching you with so much love & joy when you come home and so I feel I should only do the same with how I care for them; i.e making sure their dishes are clean that they receive enough walks & play time for the day, that they also receive treats not just for good behavior but just because they're wonderful. My specialty is communicating with him or her of their needs and servicing them to satisfactory.

As of right now i am completely free of pets but i do work with dogs daily and pretty soon i will have a dog of my own I am currently driving around and have a cage for the dog to go to different parks and other locations I stumbled across from other times I walked dogs of friends
About: What sets me apart is how seriously I take the trust you're placing in me. I understand that pets are family and leaving them in someone else's care can be difficult. That's why I approach every pet with patience, empathy, and genuine care. I take the time to learn their unique personality (energetic, shy, or just needs a little extra attention), routines, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and have the flexibility to give them the attention they deserve. With an open schedule, I can easily adapt to your pet's routine, whether that means morning walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company throughout the day. I know that being away from their owner can be an adjustment for some pets, so I do my best to create a calm, loving, and familiar environment where they feel safe and comfortable. My goal is for your pet to feel cared for and happy, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they're in compassionate and dependable hands. When caring for pets during drop-in visits and dog walks, I make it a priority to maintain the routine they're familiar with, so they feel comfortable and at ease. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their needs, whether that's a fun walk, playtime, mealtime, or some extra attention and affection. My goal is to provide thoughtful, reliable care that keeps your pet happy while giving you confidence that they're in good hands.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog since I was 12 and I have been held responsible for taking care of the dogs of extended family members since I have been 10. I love dogs, cats, and really all animals in general. I look forward to meeting everyone’s pets and keeping them safe and happy! I am home from college for the summer so my schedule is pretty open! I am a collegiate volleyball player so I have workouts and practices I am expected to complete a few days a week, but these workouts should not interfere too heavily with my Rover schedule. I have a fenced yard and one dog at home. I typically do not cage my dog, but if there is a crate at your home and you prefer to have your dog caged I have no issue with that.

“Dominique was AB-SO-LUTE-LY Fabulous!!! She treated my babies like her very own (even calling them by their "cutesy" baby names when she scratched them under their cheeks and behind the ears). She created a safe, loving and clean space for them... allowing them to thrive. Truth be told, I'm kind of jealous that they "took to her" so quickly and didn't miss me more (our first time separated in 11 years). Knowing Dominique was taking such great care of them, made the stressful time I was going through easier to manage. My babies came back, calm, well feldand clean!!! 👍 I will definitely seek out Ms. Dominique again for any and all future pet needs.”
