About: I've had pets my whole life, from birds, reptiles, and fish to dogs, cats and rodents, so I know my way around various pets and how to take care of them, as such any special needs won't be too far out of my expertise. When it comes to dogs I've taken two puppies of mine to training classes and am willing to work with whatever training you have in place with your dog, whether that is working on correcting behaviors like jumping or continuing to teach them certain tricks while you're away, I will try my best to make sure they stay on the right track! Cats are the kind of pet I've had for the longest and know the best, even though none of mine so far have been major trouble makers I know how fickle some can be. I'm not afraid to do the occasional litterbox clean if needed or to keep an eye on them during their occasional zoomies. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible, I'm available any day from noon to midnight so if you need someone to check in on your pet overnight I'm available! About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

I have one dog named Maggie she is a pit lab mix and she keeps me fairly busy. That being said, I'd love to take care of or walk your animal. I have cared for disabled dogs & cats as well as dogs with allergies (Maggie is allergy prone herself). I can administer medication if needed as well. I am currently a full time student and I volunteer for my local fire department so I have plenty of extra time on my hands to take care of your animals! I have a fenced in yard and my dog is crate trained. I do have experience also crate training dogs so I am willing to help if this is something you struggle with. About: I have experienced taking care of senior dogs especially with vision issues. I can give oral medication. I work at a doggie daycare part-time time. I am a full-time student at Richland who works part-time at a dog boarding place mainly during the weekends. My class load is typically three to four days a week. I have a fenced in yard at my house. About: I have been able take care of and walk a variety dogs in my 3 years of experience with many different sizes and species of dog. I have a very flexible schedule. I do own a medium size dog that may occasionally come on walks with me as long as you approve and feel comfortable with it.
