I was honest about his behaviors upfront and not once did she seem scared, which is so uncommon, even at dog boarding facilities. Because of her passion for animals, managing behaviors, and training, he had a successful stay and I could enjoy time away without worrying constantly. About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. I live in a single family home with an unfenced yard, but any bathroom breaks would be under my full watch and care. I have one sweet but shy cat, but she has her own room if your pet is not okay with other animals.

He got plenty of exercise with walks, trips to the river, and adventures in the forest preserves. She even treated him to an ice cream after a long, fun day in the sun! While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: My family has had a rescue dog since she was a puppy and is now a senior dog. I have had my own 2 shelter dogs living with me full time for over 2 years so I have been exposed to dealing with separation anxiety and many different reactions. I know I will be able to exceed your pets needs and provide lots of love and attention! I am currently a stay at home mom to a 1 year old boy. My schedule is very flexible because of this and I would prefer to bring him to drop ins and keep him in a car seat but I have babysitters if you are not comfortable with that! About: I grew up with dogs and have house sat my brother's dog on numerous occasions throughout the time I've been in the Champaign area. I have also house sat cats for a friend back in Indiana. I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. I don’t have pets of my own right now, but I’ve been pet sitting on and off for several years and have cared for friends’ dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were puppies my oldest was 15 years old he’s finally crossed over the rainbow bridge ! I work with dogs on a daily basis, my job entitles me to work with all types of dogs from small little cute dogs to big Great Danes who think they’re still lap dogs. About: I would love to meet your fur babies. I'm retired from 35 yrs as a Social Worker. Now, I can pet sit full time. Call or text with any questions or to book my services! I'm able to come to your home while you're away! Whether you're working extra long hours or away on vacation, I can watch your pets when you are gone from home. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel. I don't charge per pet or per size fees either!
About: My whole life I have always preferred animals over humans so as an adult my goal has been to turn it into my profession. I have cared for all kinds of animals from bugs to sheep, the least being livestock but i would love to learn more and better my skills in every way I can. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
