“Ashley and her husband were amazing. We drove to her home beforehand and she gave us a tour of her home. She kept me up to date with pictures of my pup through his stay and I could tell he was very well taken care of. We will definitely be hiring Ashley for all our pupsitting needs. Highly recommend her!”

“Gracy loves it here. She gets excited coming down the lane and runs straight for the house like it was her own. We used the pick up option this time and watched on our house cams as our dog ran straight to Sherrys vehicle and jumped right in. It's a relief to know she has no hesitation about spending time here!”

“Darcie was an outstanding caregiver for our dogs and is also an excellent communicator. She went above and beyond sending regular updates and photos during boarding. I would recommend her for anyone!”

“Emily, and her family, did a wonderful job watching Roscoe. He was well-cared for, active in the yard. Pictures of our pup were sent regularly. It was a.wonderful place for our pup.”

“I left my dogs for the first time over Christmas. My very excitable, stage-one clinger (GSD) was calm and happy when I picked her up which indicates that she was feeling very relaxed during her stay. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Jake and his family.”

“Heather was incredible!! Stanley stayed in her home for 23 days and he had the best time! We got frequent photo updates of him getting treated with so much love and care, it gave us great peace of mind while we travelled. I can't recommend boarding with Heather enough!”

“Taylor was absolutely incredible with my little kittie boy Blue! I was scared to board him as he's only 6 months old but Taylor took great care and showed deep compassion for him. He came home excited and almost refreshed. I highly recommend Taylor if you're looking to board your cat or any other animal. Her passion and love for animals is very evident. Taylor will be the first one I call next time! Thank you so much Taylor! 5 Stars aren't enough!”

“BJ warmly welcomed Bentley into her home and was methodical with acclimating him to the house and her two dogs. She kept me updated with his activities and treated him as if he was member of her family.”

About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.
“Erica was amazing. She sent great updates and Marshall was very happy. It was a relief knowing we didn't need to stress about our dog while we were out of the country. Will definitely use again!”

“Nyjeah W. Took good care of my Schnoodle Dog Hosanna and my cat Shylynn she was very responsive with updates, very reliable. I would recommend her if you need someone to watch your loving pets she's the best.”

“Mary is literally the best pup sitter. She takes such care of our pup like he is her own. You can tell her heart belongs to the dogs she sits for by how she takes care of them. You won't be sorry for choosing Mary.”

“Joe was really great with my dog who has separation anxiety. He took the time to let her get comfortable and trust him. He also checked in throughout, which gave us peace of mind!”
“Dillon was so responsive, understanding, flexible and chill! This was much appreciated as some travels did not go as planned and my brother-in-law had to pick up my dog later than expected. About: I’ve cared for my own two cats, Jolene and Soup for over five years and have been around friends’ and family’s cats for more than eight. Over the years, I’ve learned how to meet each cat’s unique personality and needs with patience and understanding. I have experience with nail trimming, brushing, enrichment and playtime, and administering medication when needed. I also take care of litter box maintenance and keeping cat areas clean and comfortable. One of my own cats is on the shy side, so I’m very comfortable working with skittish or nervous cats and giving them the gentle patience they need to feel safe. I’m confident in reading feline body language and building trust over time. I’m open to caring for cats of all ages and temperaments (though I have a bit less hands-on experience with very young kittens under 4 months). My goal is to make every cat feel secure, cared for, and loved!
About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.
“Amanda was very reliable and great with communication. It’s always scary not knowing someone well and having them stay at your house with your pets and she over exceeded our expectations. We appreciate it! Will definitely keep her on our list for the future!!”

“Carson is the best! It was our first time going out of town since we got our cat. The cat is normally shy with new people but instantly took to Carson. Carson was communicative, prompt, took great care of our cat, and sent lots of pictures. It was so nice being able to enjoy our trip knowing that our cat was being well taken care of! Thanks Carson!”

About: Hi! I'm Jenna. The "Me every time I see a dog. Do you share this reaction?" meme with Andy from Parks & Recreation is literally me every time I see a dog. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.

About: I have had a cat ever since I was a toddler. I have always loved cats. I have owned 10 cats in my lifetime. One of those 10 cats I actually fostered until I could find her a home, her name was cloud but found her forever home and is now named JoJo. I lost three cats, one from cancer, one from old age, and one got hit by a car. May they rest in peace. Callie, who was sick, was my little princess. Smore's, who was old, was my baby, I got him when I was 11, on my 11th birthday. He was and always will be the best cat I have ever had. Pepper, was my cat when I was little, though, he didn't like me very much, he unfortunately got hit by a car when I was a little older. I had to give 2 cats away, unfortunately, due to having too many cats, and I was in a very abusive relationship at the time. I do miss Truffles; he was a sweetheart. He would snuggle up on my shoulder like a parrot. Mya was actually my ex's cat. They both got amazing forever homes. I also had Mia, who is now my mom's cat. I have litter boxes all around the house and clean them daily. and deep clean once a month. I know how to administer medications and shots for cats. I have also bathed cats as well. I have plenty of toys for cats. I have fresh cold water for the cats. I have always loved animals since I was a child. I always wanted to be a dolphin trainer and a zookeeper when I was little. That is still a dream of mine, but life has thrown me some curveballs, that has changed my goals/steps in life at this moment. I first worked at my first animal clinic job in 2010-2011, my first job ever, when I was a junior in high school. It was one of the best jobs I have ever had. I decided that working at a animal clinic would be the best job for me until I could work at a zoo. My favorite subject in school was science and animal studies. I went to college and got my associate's in science, and got a bachelor's in zoology and general studies, with a minor in psychology and half minor in scuba diving. I then worked at my second animal hospital in 2022-2023. I loved that job so much because I got to work and do so many things with dogs and cats, as well as many other types of pets. I have cleaned kennels and runs. I have cleaned litter boxes. I have fed and gave water to dogs and cats. I have given medication to dogs and cats. I have given shots to cats. I have bathed dogs and cats. I have taken dogs out on walks. I have taken dogs out to potty. I have done fecal matter samples. I have cleaned up fecal matter outside in the yard as well as cleaned messes including fecal matter, urine and vomit.

“We had a good first experience with Emilie as Poppy’s sitter. Poppy seemed to do well during her stay, and we appreciated receiving photo updates while we were away. Communication was smooth throughout, and we didn’t have any complaints. We would be more than comfortable booking with Emilie again in the future.”

About: I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t like me. I donate a bag of treats each stay from my dog’s social media sponsor. We take a walk every single day. I am a teacher so I am out of the house from 7:45am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. I have some flexibility to leave early if need be. During lunch break, I use my Furbo camera to talk to my dog and launch a treat for him. I usually take my dog for a walk as soon as I get home from work. Weekends, I am typically home most the day. I have a ranch style single-family home that has a doggy door to a full turf and fully fenced back yard. I have the sweetest Golden Retriever that loves having other doggos come over. Warning: your pet will get lots of love and may not want to leave.
“We really appreciated Emily's keeping us posted on how our dog Maggie was adjusting to a new environment. Emily and family were very loving and caring toward our dog Maggie.”

“Darcie really helped us out, accepting our last-minute booking for our Giant Schnauzer puppy, Iris, without hesitation! Iris undoubtedly had a great time, with access to lots of sunshine and outside play in the large fenced-in yard - just what she needs. We will definitely reach out to Darcie in the future!”

As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. “Tiffany was great! We were traveling through Iowa and needed a place to leave Tommy for the afternoon so we could take a riverboat sightseeing tour. Due to poor planning on my part we had to find someone just a few days before our trip, but Tiffany responded to my request very quickly and was able to take him on short notice. She was so kind, and Tommy warmed up to her quickly. We really appreciated having a great place to take him for the afternoon!”

One of my cats is 13 years old, so I also have experience with senior care (as well as cat medication, too!). I also have experience with guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, and reptiles! I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! If I am house sitting, I can typically spend overnight and the majority of the day there! *Note: I am currently on hiatus from house sitting services! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!

I really appreciate Dillon going over and beyond what was expected. Would definitely recommend and use again!”

“She was absolutely amazing with my dogs. She sent pictures periodically through the day and you could tell the dogs were having so much fun! I’ll definitely be using her again and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone else.”
