She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. I start school August 15, so until then I am free to take care of your pet at anytime of the day! I will typically try to DoorDash to make some extra cash, but will stop every couple of hours to check on your friend! I treat every home and pet like my own — that means following your routines closely and communicating with you along the way so you're never left wondering how things are going. For drop-in visits, I stick to the schedule you set for feeding, medication, and fresh water, and I always do a walk-through to make sure everything's secure before I leave. I'll bring in mail/packages and rotate lights if that's part of the ask. For dog walks, I keep to your dog's normal route and pace unless you tell me otherwise, always leash up before opening any doors, and clean up after them every time. I pay close attention to their body language, especially around other dogs or people, and I'll never push a walk if it's too hot, too cold, or your dog seems off that day. For overnight house sitting, I keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible — same feeding times, same bedtime habits, same amount of attention and play. I am home evenings Monday-Friday and all day on Saturdays and Sundays and would love to care for your pup! I do prefer if your fur baby is potty trained, but that being said- happy, excited, and nervous accidents happen and that is absolutely okay! :) I have a newly fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs are very high energy and have loved playing with previous foster dogs. Just to be on the safe side, I will put your dog in a separate room/section to eat. About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.
About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
