I was sleepy when I dropped Nova off and asked if a gas station was nearby to get coffee and Pete made me an espresso right then. I didn’t even have to msg to ask about Nova because they sent pics and videos and updates before I even had to ask. You can tell immediately that they are just genuine people and they really care about the animals and are very passionate about what they do. They provided an amazing place for Nova to stay the weekend and I was able to relax and enjoy my little weekend trip knowing that Novs was in the best care. They do special little activities with them and I could just go on and on. I hope that they are available next time I need a sitter for Nova because they provide exceptional service. About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years now and I love all animals! I can do puppies all the way to senior pets and I have no problem with any breeds! I also love reptiles and rodents if you have any in addition to dogs or cats, i’d happily do anything you need me to do for them! I am a college student at siue but I still have a super flexible schedule and i have a lot of free time to hang out with pets! i’ve grown up with pets all my life and even worked at a doggy daycare in my hometown so i’d love to be there for pets who don’t like daycares and prefer to stay in their own space. About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

I will adhere to the preference of pet owners on if the pets can interact with other pets. I work full-time as a remote employee for Royal Canin. I’ve pet sat a good variety of dogs, from border collies to labs and teeny little Pomeranian mixes! “It doesn’t get any better than the amazing service that Pete and Amy provide. I was blown away at how much they go above and beyond not only for the pets but the pet owners. I was sleepy when I dropped Nova off and asked if a gas station was nearby to get coffee and Pete made me an espresso right then. I didn’t even have to msg to ask about Nova because they sent pics and videos and updates before I even had to ask. You can tell immediately that they are just genuine people and they really care about the animals and are very passionate about what they do. They provided an amazing place for Nova to stay the weekend and I was able to relax and enjoy my little weekend trip knowing that Novs was in the best care. They do special little activities with them and I could just go on and on. I hope that they are available next time I need a sitter for Nova because they provide exceptional service. They sent her home with the most amazing picture of her and a hand written note that was very touching. I would recommend them to everyone.”
