“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, growing up with dogs, cats, birds, and even lizards. My mom was an animal lover, and I’ve followed in her footsteps. I helped my dad with his three cats that my mom used to care for before she passed, driving an hour every week for grooming and bathing (one of them is a bit oversized!). About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, growing up with dogs, cats, birds, and even lizards. My mom was an animal lover, and I’ve followed in her footsteps. I helped my dad with his three cats that my mom used to care for before she passed, driving an hour every week for grooming and bathing (one of them is a bit oversized!). I’d love to care for your beloved pet. Although I can’t have pets of my own due to my wife’s allergies, this makes pet sitting my dream job! I regularly care for my father’s cat, Jack, traveling over an hour each way, so distance is not an issue for me. I work seasonally for a cemetery in Bloomington which leaves me laid off from December 1st to March 1st each year. About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I've owned animals all my life. As a kid in school I had two Mastiff puppies who were with me until they were 6. As they had health issues that came on later in their life! My mom has 4 yorkies who I have lived with and taken care of one of them was just put down. I currently have a 2.5 year old German shepherd, 1.5 year old Rottweiler mix and a 7 month old German shepherd. Who love to have friends. They love all animals! If you have any type of bird living in your home, I can come to your home and care for them, feed them, give them fresh water. I work three hours a day. I work from 7am to 9:30am, then I am free the entire day. If I pick up extra shifts, it's only an hour and a half long. I will be available all day, and also available on the weekends anytime. We have a fenced in yard for our dog Emmy, and if your dog comes to stay, they will be safe in the backyard, and will also be monitored by me while they're in the backyard. There is always someone home, so your dogs will never be lonely. Emmy LOVES to cuddle, and will play with your pet and make them feel welcome. Any dog that comes to my home, I separate dogs for feeding time, so there are no boundary issues. Your dog will be very loved here, and very safe with us. We do allow dogs onto furniture, and they are allowed on our bed, since Emmy sleeps with us at night. If you allow that with your dog, they are welcome to sleep with us and allowed on our furniture. I will follow whatever instructions you may have for your dogs.
