About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I started working from home which gave me more time to spend with my dog. I realized how close we got and how spoiled I made him. I love dogs and will care for each dog as if they are my own. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

About: I grew up with dogs and have house sat my brother's dog on numerous occasions throughout the time I've been in the Champaign area. I have also house sat cats for a friend back in Indiana. I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15 years old for family and friends. I have experience with overnight stays at clients' houses as well as boarding at my own house and experience with puppies and senior dogs. I live an active lifestyle and love going for walks and runs with your furry friend. It is my goal to give your pet the exceptional care they'd receive from their own owner and love them well while you're away! About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. I have experience in babysitting children. I also take care of Laya our family pet. I also have previous pet sitting experience in Wisconsin. Iny previous experience in Wisconsin, I have asked owners for written instructions on medications, favorite toys, play schedule, vet contacts as well as inquiring about safe ways to enter the house. About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals. Throughout my life I have had many animals from birds and Guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Koda, my youngest dog was completely trained by me in German commands. Working with dogs to learn new things is one of my favorite things to do. My oldest dog, Motley is a senior and the past couple years I have become very educated and trained on administration of medication and post surgery care. About: As a foster parent for a local animal shelter, I love giving our four legged friends a safe and welcoming place to call their own. I have fostered over 2 dozen animals in my home and have experience with crate training, potty training, basic needs and socialization as well. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

Will need dog paddings. I love my dog and I will love yours as my own, depending on what your dog needs, we can manage and arrange things.

While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
