We had a need for an overnight stay and decided to try Rover which led us to Emily and Thomas as they lived close by. We are so very thankful that we found them! About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was really young. Other than always having a dog of my own, I’ve taken care of pets of family, friends, and neighbors. This past year has really been the first time I’ve been without a pet. My daughter and I have a lot of love and attention to give any furry friend. About: I’ve taken care of my sweet 70 lb pit bull for 4 years now in my home with a fully fenced backyard, downstairs dog play area, private room and crate for your dog, and eufy camera access to the private room. My dog has esophageal dysmotility so I understand medically complicated dogs. My home is ideal for a dog that is lower energy and enjoys calm and quiet environments. I work remote so I am home throughout the day other than the occasional doctor appointment. On average when I leave the home, it’s usually only about 2 hours and the max is about 4 hours. I also take my dog to a home groomer every other week so I can coordinate with you to take your dog to my groomer when my dog goes for grooming for an extra cost plus you paying the groomer separately. The most important thing is that your dog and my dog get along and/or are neutral. When I leave for brief periods your dog will be crated in their private room with the door closed and my dog will be loose but without access to your dog. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys! I work fully remote so your dog will be with me at all times (unless I have an appointment or errand to run) either in my office, their own private room with a crate, or in the living room. I typically wake up around 6 am and pet care happens whenever my dog needs so I can do the same for your dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding and play time. I am typically in bed by 8 pm but will get up if needed to take my dog out to the bathroom as well. Safety is my main priority. I require that our dogs get along/are neutral to one another to prevent any sort of altercation. If there ever is an altercation, you would be informed immediately and the dogs can easily be separated for the rest of the day/boarding booking. I have a very quiet and calm home and live in a quiet neighborhood as well. I take breaks during work to get on the couch and spend time with my dog and will do the same for yours! Your dog must be crate trained and will be put in a crate for any time I must leave the home (max 4 hours at a time). Your dog will also have to be either in their crate or in their private room with the door closed while I sleep. Them being able to be in their private room with the door closed while I sleep will be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high of a safety risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. I can let animals out for potty breaks and food bowl checks after 6pm CST on the weekdays, or even late evening walks. About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats about my whole life! I love animals & will do my very best to make sure they get the best care! I’m a newly stay at home mom, with a child in preschool. My schedule is always clear and I’m always willing to work around things! I always make sure that they trust me before I do anything! My pups and I have all gone to training classes so, I have a solid understanding of canine behavior in order to keep everyone safe and sound. I work in the health and wellness industry. My position allows for me to create my own schedule which is conducive to caring for all your beloved ones needs. I am super outdoorsy! So, I am familiar with many of our local parks and walking paths. I am always up for a car ride and to go to the park. Please just let me what you feel comfortable with.
About: I got my first dog when I was only 6 years old, since then, I care about all the dogs so much & help my family & my friends with their dogs, cats or any other animals - even horses - they need help with. I can help with puppies & seniors, I can care about them in health & sickness. My dogs are my children, they are my family. I spoil all my babies from playing in the pool or giving them a ride in a special pet stroller - & spoil them to death. I have 1/4 acre, almost fully fenced yard, but I also have invisible fence. Plenty toys & my dog to keep company & play with. I have mini pool to cool them off & pet stroller if they are tired or too old to walk. You need just bring your baby & the food & I will provide love, care & everything else they need. I work 2-3 days a week for only few hours. Sometimes I help with my grandchildren or I need to run out for an hour to do extra special chores to care about other animals. Besides this, I am always home. I enjoy playing & cuddling with dogs & cats, they are the best friens & family. If I am at your house - your rules, if we are at my house - also your rules but my little guests are always allowed to be on my sofa or sleep on my bed.
About: I've owned many animals over my life, cats, dogs, horses, chickens, lizards. I've taken my dogs to animal chiropractors, trained my horse and distributed meds accordingly to my senior animals. I've also pet sit for my older siblings on many occasions. I understand that the needs of every animal is different and needs to be attended to. I am currently trying to apprentice in a very competitive field and pet sitting is my in between job while I look for better positions. I live on a small farm, before my dogs passed I walked them twice a day, I have bout toys and boxes to entertain my cats, handled my lizard with care and an appropriately sized tank, and trained my horse slowly and it has really kept him healthy in his old age. Animals in my care will receive the attention, exercise and safety they need. I have a very open schedule as I am not yet employed but have applied at pharmacies. I also work a couple shifts at the Cold Stone and get to bring home ice cream oftentimes. I feed them and change their water every everyday, play with them, search for enriching toys for them to play with. With. Sometimes I put on TV for them and my girl cat likes when I rock her.
About: Hello! My name is Cora and I just moved to Sussex, Wisconsin. I have a 1.5 year old brindle boxer named Diego who is a social butterfly. Dogs are the best animals! I use to volunteer and hangout with my grandpa who was a veterinarian at his clinic. I raised and took in many rescue dogs and nursed them back to health. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was really young. Other than always having a dog of my own, I’ve taken care of pets of family, friends, and neighbors. This past year has really been the first time I’ve been without a pet. My daughter and I have a lot of love and attention to give any furry friend. I have early mornings and late afternoon-evening open Monday-Friday open and most weekends are completely open. Holiday time will have more availability with my Thanksgiving and winter break. I have a pretty big yard and a quiet neighborhood perfect for taking walks. I plan to do my best to make sure your pet feels as at home as possible when in my care.

“Samantha was beyond amazing!! She was super sweet, and it felt as though Kai Puppy (my dog) instantly felt safe with her. Sam's house was clean and clutter free and seemed an excellent environment for our bigger puppy. Samantha herself was super friendly to my husband and me and listened to all our concerns and instructions regarding Kai without complaint (it was our first time leaving her, so we were nervous, but with Samantha, we honestly had no reason to be as she was great with Kai!). Samantha also sent updates on Kai's behavior along with picture periodically throughout her boarding which was terrific for my husband and I and kept us feeling very at ease having Kai away from us. Through her updates, we saw Kai playing and cuddling and having loads of fun during her stay. We highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for dog boarding, and we will most certainly book her again in the future for our Kai Puppy!!”
