About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.

They are knowledgable with dog behavior and their 2 German Sheppards are very well behaved. After meeting Chris and Dan I felt comfortable booking a 4 day stay. Recently Ozzie spent a few hours at Chris and Dan's home so he could become a little more familiar with them and their dogs before his 4 day stay. About: I've been a dog owner for 20 years. Over the last 10 years, friends, family and neighbors have entrusted me with taking care of their dogs. 2 years ago, I took on the venture of fostering dogs in my home. My experience with them has been with puppies through adult dogs. Special needs dogs are welcome too, as I have experience with dogs with seizure disorder and other chronic issues. During the time the foster dogs are in my care, I work to establish a routine, learn basic commands and household manners. I work from home Monday-Friday. My pets (and fosters) stay in my office with me when I working. I am able to care for your pets during my breaks, lunchtime and after hours. My weekends can be a bit more busy, but I can be flexible in working with your needs. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs to stretch their legs, enjoy the outdoors, and of course relieve themselves. Indoors, I do have crates available if your dogs needs some alone, quiet time. “Adam and Erica are a lovely family with two beautiful kids, a dog and a cat. They watched my two dogs and everyone got along perfectly. The home was clean and well kept and the yard was fenced. They had my dogs for three days, they send photos and updates and all went as planned. I would have no reservations recommending them to anyone who has a dog that is both kid friendly and animal friendly. Very nice family who took great care of my pups.”
About: I have years of experience caring for dogs from all ages puppy to senior. No two are the same. They are all beautiful in their own ways. I am very flexible and dependable. I have two dogs of my own. And have dog sit for strangers and family alike. Strangers are just friends we haven't met yet. I can offer an array of services from basic drop ins and walks, to feedings and overnight stays at my place or yours. I am flexible and willing to work with you to find the best option.
About: Available to serve your best friend with a nightly walk, drop-in or doggie day care services! My husband and I absolutely love dogs and have been around them our whole life. We currently have one dog (our baby!) and always want to ensure that he receives the best care when we are out of town or at work - we want to be sure the same is done for your fur children! We know pets are family and you can trust that your babies will be cared for with great love, compassion, and safety. We are our family and friends' right hand when it comes to pet-sitting- we have experience with dogs of all sizes and cats. We are available most weekends and I am off a few days during the week. We can also provide drop in services/walks on weekends and after 5p on weekdays. We are happy to customize your pet's experience in your home, depending on your pet's needs. If your pet is staying with us, we’ll make sure they are comfortable and safe! Our home offers a great space for furry friends! We allow our fur friends on furniture & love to go outside. We will follow your routine to ensure we reinforce positive habits.
