“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I love animals and I love exercise, so here I am combining the two. I’m excited to try something new and also help out within my community by providing a healthy and heartwarming service I work Mon through Fri 7A-330P in construction. Some weeks I will have OT and will have to reschedule/ adjust my schedule here but other than that I’m pretty flexible. I prefer waking up early to being out late- but can and will accommodate. My pets are spoiled rotten. Constant truck rides and walks, and you can always find a ball or toy that belongs to the girls(dogs). And endless twig sticks and cardboard boxes inside with some windows equipped with bird feeders for the boys(cats). The girls have all day everyday access to fenced backyard and climate controlled garage included with the best neighbors and then to the comfy couch at night. The boys indulge in a cool environment while not moving much from one spot of the couch. Extras include opened curtain scenic views along with nature noises from the tv.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. About: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born! I have a BSc in Veterinary Technology, have been a US Army Veterinary Technician for 20 years working with Military and Law Enforcement working dogs and have a huge passion for canine enrichment and fitness 🐕❣️ I am a full time student pursuing my Master's in Clinical Care, but don't let that discourage you! I have excellent time management skills, and can very easily balance lifestyle and education. I am also still in the Reserves, meaning one weekend out of each month, I won't be available to hang out with your sweet fur-babies 😭 Otherwise, I am wide available! I do have 5 dogs of my own and a fully fenced yard. However, they are a solid pack and can be a little unpredictable when introducing new friends. Because of this, my main goal is to take your fur-babies on walks and get them some exercise and enrichment, rather than have them over for play time.
About: I love animals and I love exercise, so here I am combining the two. I’m excited to try something new and also help out within my community by providing a healthy and heartwarming service I work Mon through Fri 7A-330P in construction. Some weeks I will have OT and will have to reschedule/ adjust my schedule here but other than that I’m pretty flexible. I prefer waking up early to being out late- but can and will accommodate. My pets are spoiled rotten. Constant truck rides and walks, and you can always find a ball or toy that belongs to the girls(dogs). And endless twig sticks and cardboard boxes inside with some windows equipped with bird feeders for the boys(cats). The girls have all day everyday access to fenced backyard and climate controlled garage included with the best neighbors and then to the comfy couch at night. The boys indulge in a cool environment while not moving much from one spot of the couch. Extras include opened curtain scenic views along with nature noises from the tv.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: i have taken care of several breeds of dogs from the bichon’s to mastiffs! I have a beagle/shar pei mix who is 12 years old and a pit bull who is 2. We have 4 cats and I am an animal lover through and through! i am a stay at home mom of 2 and so my availability is open typically very flexible!. Up until now I have done this strictly in after work/school hours, but now have much more availability and hope to be able to branch out to more families! I will always respect the home of my client and their animals. We will go over any wants and needs and you don’t have to worry about anything else while you are gone! About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. I am currently working full time but I live with multiple people who are willing to help me with boarding. I don’t work all day so I would love to take your pet for walk! About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
