“We were so pleased with the care that Diggy received from Melissa. Her place was neat and clean with a great fenced yard. She treated our pup like her own and we felt so good knowing that he was enjoying his time while we were away. Our family really enjoyed the picture updates that Melissa sent us so we could see that Diggy was doing well and having fun. Melissa was so accommodating and attentive to Digory, you can really tell that she cares about her own dogs and her doggy visitors. We will definitely book with Melissa again.”

“Nathan and Jacqueline did a fantastic job boarding our 4-month old puppy! They were happy to work with us and reinforce the training we had been doing with him and made sure he had plenty of outdoor time. So thankful for the communication and daily photos and videos they updated us with!”

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

“Second time that Jennifer watched Maggie, and no regrets at all, she is an amazing and understanding petsitter, I really can tell that Maggie is in good hands. The care and love to our puppy was absolutely wonderful.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter than Hailey! Our dog stayed with her for two weeks and had an absolutely amazing time. He felt right at home on her beautiful, spacious property, and it was clear from the start that Hailey truly loves animals. Our pup adored her! Hailey kept us updated with daily photos and great communication, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Knowing he was in such caring and capable hands made all the difference. We’re so grateful to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

“My pup seemed to really enjoy herself at Ava’s. Ava sent some photos of them playing in the yard and my pup tuckered out after. Ava did a great job taking care of her. I would book with Ava again.”

“We have had a really bad experience in the past on river and we were really worried to try it again. We are so glad we did! We left our dog with Khanh for a night and she really put all our fears to rest. She sent us constant updates and pictures. She has every need of the dog well thought out. You can be assured your furry friend is in safe hands. Thankyou Khanh and I am looking forward to future visits!”

“So incredibly grateful I found Melanie to take care of my boys for an extended weekend. She provided daily updates and tons of pics to ensure the guys were adjusting nicely to their vacation home. Definitely planning to use her excellent care in the future!”

“Sheila did a fabulous job with my senior Lab and nervous Goldendoodle. She sent lots of updates, and I could tell my dogs were wonderfully cared for and loved the giant yard.”

“What a great family. They treated our dog like he was one of their own. Had no problem with our dogs ailments and can definitely handle the Pitbull breed and knew exactly what our dog needed. They kept in touch, and sent us good pictures”

“Chelsea was amazing she treated my dog as if it was her own! she updated us daily with pictures and texts to let us know that our Teddy was doing good. Great personality, great with dogs and kids felt super comfortable. Highly recommend her. Kathy & Steve Levine”

“Peggy was awesome! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!! My cats were stressed with all the changes that were happening (we were moving) and they were safe and well cared for by Peggy in a time they needed a place to be during that transition. She is kind and caring!!”

“Amber took care of my puppies for two weeks. And she did a great job in caring for them. My dogs enjoy the companion of Amber’s dog too. She kept update me time to time, sent pictures of them (since I was in overseas and had a hard time to have a video call with my pups due to time differences). I will definitely use her service again in the future.”

“Jocelyn took great care of our dog. She worked with us easily and communicated with us about how our girl was doing and sent pictures. It was great to know she was so loved when we were traveling. I would recommend her as a care taker for all your pups.”

“This was an amazing experience for my dog Pluto! He had so much fun and Julianne was so great with him. Her dog Luxe is the sweetest and I got so many updates of them playing and having a great time!”

“Keandra went above and beyond to make sure my dog had a good time. She also was very flexible with pickup/drop off times which was helpful since I had a flight early in the morning. She also gave my dog a free shower and made sure he got plenty of exercise and play time with her dogs. 100% would recommend Keandra”

“Leslee provided an outstanding dog-boarding experience! The level of care and daily updates exceeded our expectations. Five stars for impeccable service and genuine affection towards our furry family member!”

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
“I 100% recommend Alysa!! She did an amazing job watching my high maintenance pup in her home while I was on vacation. She is incredibly kind, responsible, and my dog loved her. She followed all my instructions, including giving daily medications, to a T. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her and her dog Oatmeal. I definitely recommend Alysa and would use her again.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

“I requested the drop in visits very last minute, but Aubry didn’t hesitate to help. My girls were happy and calm, giving me peace of mind during the extended part of my trip. She gives detailed updates of how the kitties are doing and great pictures too! I would absolutely recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

“I’m a teacher, and Jesse did drop-in visits with my senior dog throughout the school year. She’s very personable, reliable, and flexible, and it was such a relief to know that she was checking in on my old boy during the school day. I hope she’ll agree to work with us again this fall, and I would recommend her to anyone for superb pet care!”

“Debbie was great taking care of my cat. He can be a challenge sometimes. He warmed up to her which is important to me. She followed my instructions to the T. I can tell she loves animals. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Very professional sitter; we had a short in person meeting before the appointments to go over my cats' feeding schedule and she was sure to send update pictures of them at each visit. Definitely would book her again!”

“Samantha did a wonderful job caring for our 3 cats while we were on vacation! She even kept our escape artist cat from getting out. I would definitely hire her again!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, and administering basic medications when needed. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their happiness, safety, and well-being. I work full time for USPS as a mail carrier. I have two days off each week. I’m always off Sundays. Once I’m off work usually around 5/6pm I’m free! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment in my home, free of hazards and closely supervised at all times. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special requirements. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect your space and your pet’s routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and genuine care, and I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet—and your home—in someone else’s hands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and dependable experience for both you and your pet.
About: I have been taking care of various sized animals for the past several years. I am comfortable giving medications if need be and following any special instructions you may have for your four-legged babies! I am currently in college classes full time Monday-Thursday, however after 1pm I am fully available! This is not a hindrance at all when caring for your pets in your home. I prefer to stay in your home if watching your animals for an extended period of time, but if you are not comfortable with that I certainly understand and am happy to visit your house throughout the day as needed to attend to your furry loved ones!
“Very patient with my shy kitty, she eventually warmed up to them! Friendly and responsive to questions, drop ins went smoothly. Even brought in a package that came while I was out. No hesitation, Will use them again!”

About: I love animals and I love exercise, so here I am combining the two. I’m excited to try something new and also help out within my community by providing a healthy and heartwarming service I work Mon through Fri 7A-330P in construction. Some weeks I will have OT and will have to reschedule/ adjust my schedule here but other than that I’m pretty flexible. I prefer waking up early to being out late- but can and will accommodate. My pets are spoiled rotten. Constant truck rides and walks, and you can always find a ball or toy that belongs to the girls(dogs). And endless twig sticks and cardboard boxes inside with some windows equipped with bird feeders for the boys(cats). The girls have all day everyday access to fenced backyard and climate controlled garage included with the best neighbors and then to the comfy couch at night. The boys indulge in a cool environment while not moving much from one spot of the couch. Extras include opened curtain scenic views along with nature noises from the tv.
“I know my cats are in good hands with Emily! Reliable and an exceptional sitter! Over the past couple years have used Emily several times and great service every time! Thanks!”

About: The cat obsession is strong in our household. We currently share our home with four beloved felines, all of whom are well-cared for, thoroughly spoiled, and learning to adjust to our new 8-month old puppy. My children (ages 16 and 12) actively help with their daily care. My oldest has built a particularly close bond with one of our cats, who he lovingly calls his best friend, and the feeling is mutual. Over the past 11 years, our family has gained significant hands-on experience in feline care, including behavioral support, managing multiple-cat households, and responding to health issues. We’ve navigated several medical concerns with our cats, from joint pain and feline asthma (requiring a Canada-only inhaler and daily monitoring) to prescription diets and emergency vet visits. While not every scare turned out to be serious, each one taught us something new — and reinforced our commitment to keeping our pets calm, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve administered medications to cats including insulin, oral meds, ear drops, and inhalers. I’m always happy to follow your preferred routine — whether through a video or in-person tutorial — to ensure consistency and reduce stress for your pet. Should your animal require urgent care and I’m available to assist, I’m familiar with both Morton Animal Hospital and Banfield Pet Hospital and would be glad to help. If more advanced care is needed beyond general visits or drop-ins, I’m happy to adjust the rate accordingly and discuss any additional support your pet may require.
“Jayne has been wonderful to have taking care of Belle. She is very sweet, reliable, and flexible with my frequent need for schedule changes. I’m very appreciative to have her in my home!”

About: Through out my life I've had several different furry friends (and fish!). I have worked with all kinds of animals from ones that love to run and play to ones that would prefer to lounge around all day! I have several years of experience as a professional pet sitter, as well as having pets of my own. I can't wait to meet your babies! 😊❤️ I am currently a stay at home mom looking to make some pocket money while doing something I love! I'll have plenty of time to look after your lovely animal babies! Most of the times, short term stays or quick check-ins work best for me, but I am open to talks regarding longer stays. I am a strong believer in spending as much time with pets as possible, so I plan to enact that with your fur babies as well. I will send you pictures of your fur baby on walks or lounging on the couch with small updates.

Whether it's energetic playtime, relaxing walks, or cozy cuddle sessions, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy and loved while their humans are away. I work from home, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Your dog won't be left alone for long periods and will get consistent potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I provide loving, attentive care in our home. I work from home, so pets receive plenty of supervision potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day.
“I'm so happy to have found Lola on Rover. She is so sweet. My puppy had a great time at her home playing with her dogs, cats, and kids🥰 Will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: I've watched dogs and cats of friends, family and strangers on and off for the past 10 years. I have experienced with small to XL dogs, young and older! I’m a stay at home mom. Our boys are rarely home alone for more than a couple hours at a time, a couple days a week. I have a fenced yard and two boys that are ready to play. They have unlimited access to the yard, toys and water. We have a cat who is very friendly, but will most likely keep to himself.
“Bubs had a great time with Khanh! She was able to accommodate his need to physically be away from other dogs because he’s not quite old enough to get all his vaccines. He was always excited to get to daycare in the morning! She was also willing to work with me and my crazy work schedule - we’ve already booked more time with her. I trust her with my puppy. 🤗”

About: Finding the right sitter matters — especially when your dog needs more than just a walk and a bowl refill. That’s where I come in. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to senior dogs and behaviorally challenging cases, I’ve cared for and handled dogs with a wide range of needs. My background includes extensive volunteer work at animal shelters, where I gained valuable experience reading canine body language, managing stress, and working safely with dogs that require extra patience and structure. In 2021, I earned my Certified Dog Trainer credential through Animal Behavior College, and I continue my education through Leerburg University, focusing on canine behavior, handling, and communication. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — every dog is different, and I tailor my care to what helps your dog feel safe, calm, and confident. If you’ve been told your dog is “too difficult” or “too much” for most sitters, I encourage you to reach out. I have experience with reactive, anxious, high-drive, and medically complex dogs, including administering medications and injections when needed. My goal is not just to watch your dog, but to advocate for them while you’re away. For safety and individualized care, I only accept one family of dogs at a time. This allows me to focus fully on your dog’s routine, comfort, and well-being — no overcrowding, no chaos. I’d love to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. You’ll leave knowing your dog is in capable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring hands. Thanks for stopping by my profile — I look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon. I'm hoping to make canine boarding/training my new job. I still work full time in a hybrid remote role. I will only accept boarding reservations where I know I will be home. I prefer to exercise dogs by walking them, but will do anything to keep your friends on their own routine. Anything you can share with me about your dogs preferred routine will help me keep their schedule as normal as possible.
About: I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, and I learned how to attentively take instructions when it came to the care of an animal. I have dealt with dogs and cats that have digestive issues, as well as knowing my way around taking care of (oral) medication. I am also used to dogs or cats that need daily exercise or some that are very energetic and need a lot of attention. Before moving to New Mexico, I had two dogs, and I was always keen on keeping them safe + well taken care of, but most importantly, checking that they were always happy and healthy. And I would be honored to take care of your pet in the same manner. Because I am searching for work, all of my time is dedicated to Rover at the moment. I am available every day of the week. I have a two bedroom apartment and two cats, so I cannot board any fur babies in my home unless you are absolutely sure they are okay around cats. On the other hand, I can guarantee that I will keep an eye on any pets I take care of in a client's home, as well as provide updates based on your preference!

“Karen is a great pup sitter!! My dog responded to her right away and it was very obvious that she had a great time with Karen and her 2 furbabies. Was very comfortable leaving my pup at her home in her care.”

“Kayla was so friendly and super accommodating when we had to pick up a bit late due to car issues. She sent texts and photos and we felt very comfortable knowing Sophie was not caged up in a kennel while we enjoyed our time on the Verde Canyon Railroad!”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat pets as members of the family, not just animals I’m watching. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, including shy or nervous dogs who need extra patience to build trust. I’m attentive to details, follow routines closely, and understand how important consistency is for a pet’s comfort and well-being. Because I care for my own dogs daily, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and communicating concerns promptly. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also respecting each pet’s individual needs and boundaries. My goal is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owners are away, and for owners to have peace of mind knowing their pets are receiving personalized care. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I have two dogs, so I’m used to feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, monitoring behavior, and making sure they get plenty of attention throughout the day. I also stay on top of things like cleaning up after them, maintaining their routine, and watching for any signs that something might be off. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so fitting pet care into my day feels very natural. In my home, pets are treated like family. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment where pets receive plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. I closely monitor their behavior, appetite, and energy levels and will follow any instructions regarding medications, dietary needs, or special care. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while they are in my care.
“Evee had an absolutely amazing time! Sami sent updates everyday and included pictures, I loved knowing my girl was well taken care of she got to go to the park, had lots of cuddles, and was visibly excited to see sami by day 3, would definitely book again and recommend to anyone!”

“Peggy is exactly the person you want taking care of your pets. She is patient, relaxed, and full of love! She has a dog of her own, Peanut, and offers to do an introduction before your booking to make sure all animals are comfortable. My days are somewhat unpredictable and Peggy was always accommodating and patient with my schedule. Maple would rush to her door each day in anticipation. We feel so lucky that Maple has been under such great care for the past 2 weeks!!”

She kept update me time to time, sent pictures of them (since I was in overseas and had a hard time to have a video call with my pups due to time differences). I will definitely use her service again in the future.”

“My dog seemed to have a great time, and Faith was conscientious about addressing any problems and did a great job of caring for Max for over a month. Would highly recommend Faith!”
