About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had Dalmatians, which probably began my love for large dogs. I currently have two rescue, pitty-mixes. I love the playful energy and am understanding that different dogs have different needs. My dog, Bear, is always getting into something, so I've become pretty good with first-aid! I am a very organized person and have dealt with medications given at particular times. I'd rather be overly cautious than not cautious enough! I have a senior cat that I rescued in 2010. She runs the house and that's ok by me! I love snuggling with dogs and cats alike and giving them all the attention. My education background is a Masters in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm totally OK with spending the night with your pets if needed. My husband can watch our crazy boys and cat :) I used to teach middle school science when I lived in Maryland but now I'm a stay-at-home mom in Illinois! Just let me know when you are needed and I'll make it work! I am a very organized, clean and tidy person. I totally understand how much we love our fur babies and will treat them like I'd treat my own. Again, I'd rather be overly cautious than not enough! Our babies can't voice for themselves so it is important to always advocate for them and do what is in their best interest!
“I had a mandatory business trip and my pet sitter fell through fairly last minute. My 6 year old cat, Ollie, has separation anxiety (I rescued him from abuse when he was 6 months old) and he is not used to being alone for long periods of time because I work out of the house and am home most of the time. While he's friendly, he's not super snuggly or interactive with strangers; he just needs someone to be 'present'. We had a meet-and-greet prior to booking the stay- She asked all of the pertinent questions about his personality and daily routine (Charlie, my 21 year old cockatiel, is easy- LOL). I was rest-assured things would work out so I booked the stay. Deanne was wonderful with both Ollie and Charlie. She sent me updates throughout the day and plenty of photos letting me know they both were doing well (although I could tell in a couple of the photos Ollie was a little sad... But that is completely normal- As long as he was eating and following his regular routine I knew he'd 'survive'). This also helped me not stress out or worry about my pets and be able to focus on my trip / business dealings and that's honestly also a big part of traveling for me. I arrived home, and while I know both Ollie and Charlie missed me, everything went right back to normal and that's what told me Deanne cared for them very well. She also was very respectful of my home and kept it clean during her stay. I'm very glad I found her and will be using her services again. I highly recommend Deanne to care for your pets!”

I usually take him on walks mornings, midday, and evening time and in the summer I only give him a walk in the evening because he’s a Husky and it gets too hot for him during the day. About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since i was born. I currently live with roommates who have two dogs, and I am the one they rely on when both are gone or away for long periods of time. I work full time, I work mornings mostly and occasional afternoons but they are only about 4 hours. I am able to come in before mornings but I work at 6:30 am. other than that I can stop by anytime I am not working I take dogs out often, and love to play with them. I also enjoy playing with cats and will always make sure they have fresh litter.

About: Since the day I was born, I have lived in a home with numerous types of pets. I have had puppies since the day they came home at eight weeks old, and I have been there to hold their hand when they had left this earth; not only have I seen all stages of life, I have helped take care of them until they are very last breath. We currently have Mac our pitbull/boxer mix, Oak our Australian cattle mix, Stitch our box tortoise and our chicken ladies. I can also offer nail trim and anal gland expression services if needed. I currently only work part time so I have a wide variety of hours to offer care. My mornings start with animal care and my nights end with animal care. I have a variety of dog/cat beds, big and small, all cozy of course. I have multiple different sizes and styles of crates if your dog is crate trained. We have a 3 acre lot that has a fenced pasture. We are in a court so I have the ability to also leash walk around the neighborhood if requested. My dogs are friendly and love visitors. I have a small animal cage that used to be for our ratties and can be used for a small animal/exotic pet.

I totally understand how much we love our fur babies and will treat them like I'd treat my own. Again, I'd rather be overly cautious than not enough! About: I live on a small farm in Harvard we have horses , 2 dogs , 1 cat and a flock of chickens . I’m comfortable with all animals !! Oh ….. except for snakes :) I’m retired so I have plenty of time . Love spending time with all my animals and catering to their needs . My husband is semi retired so my availability is huge . About: I've taken care of pets from as earliest as birth and into their elderly years, since I was 8. My family would occasionally breed our American Akitas. I've trained them, bathed them, cleaned up after them, and administered medications. They are a ton of work, but always worth the effort when we saw them finally meet their forever homes. I am available for whatever service you need, except for boarding, most days of the week except Thursdays after 2 pm, Fridays, and Saturdays before 2 pm. I am unable to care for your pet at my residence. We have 5 dogs here currently and I wouldn't want to overwhelm your pet with so many new faces. I am more than willing to be as accommodating as needed to care for them in your home, walking them, or simply letting out for a potty break.
