“This was our first time using Rover as this app as our first puppy in many years. We found ourselves in a little bit of a bind as our new puppy wasn’t allowed at a local recreation spot. We live several hours away and couldn’t return our new puppy to our house. So we looked up who might be able to dog sit out new puppy. Almost out of options we stumbled upon Rover. About: I've owned animals throughout my life. Currently, I have a lasb/mastiff mix, a boxer/dane mix, 1 cat, 4 lizards and a trantula that I share my home with. I'll care for your pet to the best of my abilities and they will always be loved, safe, and protected In my day to day life, my fiance and I share duties in the indie bookshop and creative space that we own. In the mornings, I get ready and take our dog outside. I always pick up the poop and dispose of it - it's a requirement in our townhome community. I then go in and feed the dog and give her any medications and supplements she may be on. Usually, I leave the house and my fiance takes care of her letting her out and taking a walk during the day. We do have a fenced dog park one block over that we frequently visit to let the pup run around off-leash for a bit and play with any other dogs that may be there and/or throw the ball. In the evening, we always go for a nightly walk before bed. Then our dog has a comfy bed at the foot of our bed and some stairs so she can get on the bed and lay with us. Your dog will get the same experience and care as our sweet girl, along with a playmate so boredom won't be an option. All dogs will be on leash outside of the home and waste will be disposed of properly. There's a fenced dog park near by that will allow your dog to run around off leash with our dog, who is very friendly and patient - an older spayed large dog, gentle as can be. Your dog will get the same care and protection as ours including no access to the cat box or open food they can grab, lots of love and attention, access to clean water always, and extra emphasize on anything you tell me your dog needs. I take our pets health very seriously.

I have a lovely springer spaniel, named Frankie and a Bengal cat. I work from home. I do run some errands through the week but I am home most of the time. About: I have had various animals throughout my life. I grew up with animals both inside and outside of my home including numerous dogs (multiple breeds), cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters; as well as rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, and horses outdoors. I would love to spend the time walking the park with your fur baby so they can stretch their legs and get the wiggles out mid-day. Or we can spend the time together in your yard if you prefer they stay close to home. I am also available in the Logan area on weekends as well. My pets are my family, I go to great lengths to keep them safe and happy. I believe every pet parent feels the same about their own pets so I promise to treat your fur babies as I would my own. About: I have grown up with animals my whole live from horses, to lambs to mainly dogs. I love ;learning about different dogs personalities and how to take care of them individually. I would one day like to train a working dog but for now just learning more about them. I live on a farm and your dog would have a lot of space to roam under close supervision. I do currently work a part time job however that still gives me plenty of time to spend with your dog or your dogs! I also have family members who would love to get to know your pet as well! With so much space to roam there will be a lot of walks for your dog. Pets are allowed inside the home however they are not allowed on furniture or beds. As I hjave said there is lots of space to roam and get exercise. They will not be allowed off leash unless given permission by you, the owner. I can keep the routine you have with your dog!

My husband and I adopted Penny, our sweet Australian Shepherd, two years ago and we have loved every second. I have never met a dog I didn’t love. I have often been told I have a knack for comforting anxious dogs. I work from home, so my schedule is fairly flexible during work hours. I often take my dog on a walk before work and in the evening after work. I’m flexible to leave work as needed and take dogs out as often as needed. “Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. I had such peace of mind that our dog was being loved and cared for. I would VERY MUCH like to use Marissa's boarding services again, next time we travel.”

About: I've been a dog owner for the past 18 years and truly understand that pets are part of the family. My home is full of love, with five kids who enjoy playing with and giving attention to dogs, so your pup will have plenty of companionship, although I will be the only caregiver to your pet. We also have a friendly Sheepadoodle who loves making new dog friends and gets along well with other pups. I'll treat your dog like one of my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I work from home and am available all day and night to make sure that your pet is comfortable and happy during their stay with us. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and any medications they may need. My home has a friendly Sheepadoodle who enjoys having canine companions, and my fully fenced yard provides a safe space for supervised play and exercise. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and they receive plenty of love, attention, and snuggles throughout the day. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
“Kimberly was great! Our dog was so we'll taken care of, I've never seen her this tired from a weekend of non stop fun. Kimberly was even nice enough to give our dog a bath as a nice surprise for us when we picked her up. Definitely would recommend, 10/10!”
