“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! “Sage did a great job checking in on our cat for 5 mornings in a row! She did everything we asked of her. She was very punctual by checking in with us each morning. And left us a picture each day. My cat unfortunately had other things on his mind. He was playing hard to get. As Sage came by early each morning, he was either still out hunting, or was hiding in his secret place. She said she only caught a glimpse of him one morning, and was too fast for her to get a picture of him. But she was patient with him. She added a few treats to his bowl of food each morning in order to see if he was eating. He was defiantly eating his treats, and his food. I think he was just being shy, as this was only the second time we've hired a cat sitter. We also opted to have him stay outside the whole time we were gone. As he is mostly an outdoor cat, and the weather was mild the whole time. Once we returned home, he was in our back yard, and came running when we called him. He was in happy spirits, and glad to see us!”

About: I have 20+ years of experience caring for dogs plus cats, goats, birds and small animals. I previously owned Bon Jour Pet Sitters and managed a Veterinary Hospital for 7 years. I am comfortable administering medication and loving on special needs pets. About: We have two high energy dogs that require regular exercise so I understand how hard it is to find a sitter who can meet that need. While your best friend is with us they can expect to get an off leash, 3-5 mile adventure every other day. I am trained and comfortable with an e collar but if your dog does not have good recall, no worries, I always carry a long line. Our home is best suited for medium to large dogs. I am a stay at home mom with 2 large dogs of my own. My dogs need regular off leash walks so you can expect your dog to get out plenty while with us. I have a large, fenced in yard. About: We're a family affair: my sister Rachel, my son, and I all help with bookings. Beyond a basic love for dogs we are also experienced with furry fosters. We have housed all types, breeds, ages, abilities of dogs/puppies for days, weeks or months at a time depending on their individual needs. Between the three of us, someone is almost always home and available to provide individual play time, lap time, TLC, and whatever else is needed. I do go to the gym and can adjust my schedule to be morning or evening depending on your needs. Early start for my dogs! 5am walks to start their day along with clean bowls before every feeding! I use a filtered water system for them, but that’s also cleaned weekly. If your pets are like mine then all that hair is a bit messy. So, brushing is a must! They do like to get on the couch so vacuuming is a must too! No kennel for them. Just their own cots. As for bathing and grooming - as needed.

At one point we even had 7 dogs at once! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients have trusted me with their pets. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs through Rover for over 3 years and truly love what I do. I’ve also spent time learning from professional dog trainers, which helped teach me proper handling, walking, and understanding different dog temperaments and behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, who are now a little older and very used to being around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout their stay. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers, and our home is very dog-friendly and relaxed. We have a fully fenced yard, two friendly dogs, and lots of space for your pup to feel comfortable and at home. I can also crate your dog if requested or follow any specific routines you have for them. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here because we believe pets are family too! I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always do my best to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos during their stay. About: Hi! I’m Hazel, a senior in high school preparing to head to college. My mom is Patricia and she and I and family team to provide pet services, but I am the main person. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. Right now, I have two dogs, Comanche and Chalko, who I’ve raised since they were puppies, as well as a kitten I helped bottle-feed after it was found at a very young age. I match my care to your loved companion's individual needs. Some dogs love being outside and running around, some love to lay on a dog bed by the fire. I understand some pets are older and need a gentle approach and others are high energy and need lots of movement and interaction. I take careful care that your pet is secured and not able to leave the property. I have a huge fenced yard and a field with ample space which allows your pet to in pet heaven! Its a fun time!

“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! Our three mid-sized Eurasiers can be very reserved with new people, but they got on with Gabby right from the start, and were as busy loving on her as we left as they left as they were with me. Two of our dogs need special diets and medications, and that was handled as part of the bid contract- no extra fees. We even got pictures and reports emailed to us on the road! The dogs returned without a kennel smell: something I've never experienced before. I highly recommend Gabby as a kennelmaster.”
