The last place we boarded him he could not get out fast enough, he stank, and had his ears and tail tucked (tradional kennel not on Rover ) . At Rich's, I dropped him off and could tell he was very relaxed and happy to meet them. On pick up, he was happy! No tail tucking, no bad smell and happily exploring the yard as we left. No rushing to the car. Very pleased! I wished we lived closer, but are hoping to be able to use their service again.”

About: I have cats all my life, I have had cats my whole life ranging from Mainecoon to little munchkin cats. I treat my cats almost like they are my children. I worked as a vet tech and a kennel tech and spent most of my days petting and giving loves in the cat room. My friends even poked fun at how while on a vacation in Mexico I “adopted” a resort cat, I would take salmon from the buffet and feed the cat and that cat joined the wedding ceremony we were all there for.

My cat unfortunately had other things on his mind. He was playing hard to get. As Sage came by early each morning, he was either still out hunting, or was hiding in his secret place. She said she only caught a glimpse of him one morning, and was too fast for her to get a picture of him. But she was patient with him. She added a few treats to his bowl of food each morning in order to see if he was eating. He was defiantly eating his treats, and his food. I think he was just being shy, as this was only the second time we've hired a cat sitter. We also opted to have him stay outside the whole time we were gone. As he is mostly an outdoor cat, and the weather was mild the whole time. Once we returned home, he was in our back yard, and came running when we called him. He was in happy spirits, and glad to see us!”

Rich and his family were wonderful with my crazy boy, who was very happy when i.picked him up (a tell-tell sign he had a great time!). I was only visiting in their state and when my schedule did a flip flop Rich was so flexible and understanding it took a lot of stress off of me. Being a sitter myself I know dogs act different with different people, and Rich gave me some feedback of how Lyric was for him (like that he jumps 4' fences. He normally only jumps if we tell him or if he is trying to get to me) - and Rich amd the family handled it well. I would be more than willing to reccomend people to Rich and his family, amd when we are here visiting our family i know there is a good trusting sitter for my boy if needed.”

I have raised puppies and tended to them throughout their long lives. I am a sucker for a white-faced senior dog! Your dog is welcome in our home and on our furniture, and will be treated as one of our own. I have solid fencing on 3 sides of my backyard, with a metal fence on one side. (4 feet high with 3 3/4 inches between the vertical rails.) I will supervise your dog in the yard or take them outside on a long lead, as needed. I appreciate clear instructions on how you would like your pet cared for, and I will follow them respectfully. Does your dog have a favorite toy? About: We have two high energy dogs that require regular exercise so I understand how hard it is to find a sitter who can meet that need. While your best friend is with us they can expect to get an off leash, 3-5 mile adventure every other day. I am trained and comfortable with an e collar but if your dog does not have good recall, no worries, I always carry a long line. Our home is best suited for medium to large dogs. I am a stay at home mom with 2 large dogs of my own. My dogs need regular off leash walks so you can expect your dog to get out plenty while with us. I have a large, fenced in yard. About: I have been in the pet care business for 10 years. When I first started working with dogs, I assisted dog walkers that had their own established dog walking businesses. The walkers I worked for provided off leash pack walk adventures! I assisted a number of walkers with their packs of dogs. About: I've had animals all my life. Everything from dogs and cats to reptiles and small animals. I've been house sitting for friends and co workers for almost 20 years. I'm a part time actress, so while my schedule does vary, I typically have a lot of time at home between gigs! I can spend a lot of time with your fur babies! About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I’ve always had at least three dogs in my house, ranging from small dogs to bigger dogs, like labs and German shepherds. I work as a middle school librarian, so I’m available after school and weekends! After 3:30 is when I’m available during the week but I have no limitations on the weekends! The last place we boarded him he could not get out fast enough, he stank, and had his ears and tail tucked (tradional kennel not on Rover ) . At Rich's, I dropped him off and could tell he was very relaxed and happy to meet them. On pick up, he was happy! No tail tucking, no bad smell and happily exploring the yard as we left.
