But, when Clyde arrived home after three weeks at Michael’s home, he looked like just been on the best vacation ever. Michael obviously found the right balance of exercise, rest and medication for our arthritic C,lyde. Michael also updated us with photos and stories of their foothill hikes. About: I grew up with animals my entire life (dogs, cats, horses), and I finally got my own dog this year, a loving and friendly golden retriever. I still love to petsit for others. I have done pet sitting through rover for 6+ years and I have experience with horses through my childhood. I cleaned a horse barn every weekend during highschool and learned how to handle them. I am a Geologist with the Forest Service in Idaho City, where I also live. I work full time from 8-4:30pm in the office. The summer months I have very little capacity for dogsitting because of field work and I am involved with working wildfires. With pets in my home I am happy to give them free reign of the place! Please let me know if your dog has a habit of chewing items or counter surfing. When staying at a client's home, I am attentive to the pets, can provide walks and play-time, and I make sure to leave the house cleaner than I find it. About: Animals have been a crucial part of my life's joy. I have had four kitties and two dogs and learned so many things from all of them. Some of my deepest gifts have come from being open to animals and the sweet ways they share and teach us. Dogs, cats and everything in-between has value and purpose to me. I am yoga teacher. About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!

My days start early, so drop off and pickup times are pretty flexible Need an early morning drop off or late night pick-up, no problem! This is my full-time job and I'm available 24/7 (Holidays too) with flexible drop-off/pick-up times to fit your schedule. I also offer emergency pick-up and can drive to you and pick up your pet. Animals come first in my house. I have a large gated backyard that your dog will enjoy. I do not crate any dogs unless you ask me to. I supply crates, feeding/water bowls, grooming items and dog toys ready for your dogs stay. I allow pets to sleep in my king size bed, the couch, or any other spot in my home they feel comfortable in.

About: I've been around animals my whole life and have been fostering with the humane society for many years. I currently have an golden of my own and we love to explore new areas in the foothills, around the greenbelt, or even the beautiful sights up bogus.
