About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.

About: During Covid, I was laid off and it turned into a wonderful experience of being able to dog sit. I was watching 5 dogs on a regular basis, feeding, playing, napping, and loving on each and every one of them. I absolutely love dogs, I have taken care of small to big dogs and they are all my favorite!! I worked at an animal shelter and gained a lot of animal knowledge and experience from there I am currently working a full time job Monday through Friday until 3PM, with occasional weekend shifts. I am able to do drop in, house sitting, and walkings in the afternoons. I can provide lots of love, attention, and stimulation to your pets. I am very active but also love to relax and provide cuddles if your pet is more on the mellow side of activity. “From when she came out and did our initial meeting with the animals, I knew she was going to be a great fit on taking care of the animals. Our cats don’t warm up to new people quickly & they were instantly friendly. She did daily check ins on them. Always super thorough, played with the dogs and gave the kitties treats. I think our animals are actually disappointed we did not come home bearing treats after having an awesome pet sitter all week. Haha. I highly recommend Alexandrea. She did great with our crew. We’ve got two dogs and two cats. Age ranges from 1 year to 13 years old. She even did some light cleaning so we didn’t have to come home to hair covered floors.”

About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! If your pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.

“We left Stephanie with 2 over 60-lb puppies (they are not yet a year old) for 3 weeks of daycare and she did awesomely. They had the time of their lives. Lots and lots of exercise, smells galore, not only on her 20 acre property, but she took them to special places - like a beach, where they ran and ran. “During my visit to Coeur 'd Alene, we had some activities planned that were not suitable for dogs. I turned to Rover after reading some troubling reviews on the local pet resorts. And I could not be happier that I went this route! After reading several profiles and reviews, I found Carolyn and she was quick to respond to my last minute request, literally the night before we needed a sitter. After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! We continued to use Carolyn's services for several more days, and each morning when we arrived, Shelby was excited to see her, and to go play with the other dogs in her care. Carolyn provided a good balance of outdoor play and indoor rest to ensure that the dogs didn't get too overheated. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times as well. I will close with saying that Carolyn is an absolute sweetheart, and that I gained a new friend in Coeur 'd Alene! I look forward to using her services when visiting the area again. She will take care of your pet as if it were her own.”

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.

At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. About: I have been raising, training and keeping animals under control amd safe all my life. I have been taught how handle and care for dogs especially since I was little, my family owns a dog kennel in which I was instrumental in keeping our dogs happy, clean and well fed. I work part time as a cook from Friday-Tueday Although I am still available between 8am-1pm on those days. I am fully avaliable on both Wednesdays and Thursdays all day long. About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.
