I live with an high energy English Setter and and outdoor activities orange cat. My family has had many dogs over the years, especially labs and Dobermans. I have experience with all shapes, sizes, and demeanors through Rover. Comfortable with walking on or off leash, and with e collars. You can trust your dog will be in great hands while you are away. I can't wait to meet your best buddy! Availability: I work 8-5 in Jackson Mon- Fri so am available for walks and drop ins in the evenings on either side of the pass. I can do house sitting and boarding (selectively) on the weekends. Watching a dog in their own space allows me to keep them as much in their typical routines as possible, even while you’re gone. “Okay, Rachel is AMAZING. Im from Denver, CO and drove to Jackson for a half marathon. I brought my puppy, Rowan, with me to have a fun filled memorable experience with him in Jackson but being that half marathons don't allow dogs to run the course, I needed a pet sitter that would be willing to wake up super early to allow me to drop him off. I truly didn't think anyone would be willing to accommodate that request (understandably) but Rachel was up for it! Not only that, she also dropped me off at the spot where buses were taking runners to Teton Village for the start line. Truly too kind! When I arrived back at Rachel's place to pick up Rowan, he was having so much fun playing with her neighbor's dog in the yard that he completely ignored me lol. It was hard to pull him away. Rowan had a blast and Rachel was so kind to send update pictures while I was running my race. If for whatever reason I'm crazy enough to run that race again, I would absolutely hit up Rachel again! About: I worked at Yellowstone Bear World for 5 years with all kinds of animals! I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks, and more! I have always been surrounded with pets and currently we have 4 cats and had 2 older dogs that have since passed!! I have taken care of my siblings animals and am comfortable with all sizes and kinds of pets! I grew up in Rexburg, and am currently a college student at BYUI! So I will have plenty of time to give your pets lots of love and care in between and after classes! About: I’ve had and cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve trained multiple dogs and I love every animal I come in contact with. My husband and I love to run, and take our two dogs every where - we would love to have more companions on the trail. I work from home, so can give your dog whatever attention they need. They must do well with other dogs, and we always go for runs and walks after the work day. I will happily do potty breaks, walks, hikes or even runs depending on your dogs age and breed. Please be clear on what your routine is like, as we do walks or hikes every day. My dogs have expectations with trail etiquette and yours will too. Please be honest about if they do best on leash or off leash - as they will need to be able to quickly recall. Do they have any dietary restrictions? Treats they don't do well with? Can they swim?
