About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: I have two dogs of my own who are truly my babies, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. With two years of experience working at a dog boarding kennel, as well as time at a pet vaccine clinic, I’m comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.
About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing with not just dogs, also goats and chickens too! About: I work remotely and love taking walks throughout the day to stop looking at screens. I go for frequent runs, walks and hikes and love taking a dog with me, just let me know if you would like your pup to get extra exercise! I live in downtown CDA area with a large fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks! I only take in one dog at a time. I had both dogs and cats growing up and I'm a proud Aunty of all my friends dogs when they are out of town. I always look forward to it! If you have a strong high energy dog, don't sweat it.
